Abstract

News is a text that has an important role in disseminating information. News text is so useful that it has become a literacy material for students due to the development of advanced technology. Although it has become one of the sources of student literacy, online news texts are still classified as having syntactic errors such as a lack of understanding of the language used in compiling a sentence in the news. The purpose of this study is to describe sentence errors in the news contained in the old CNN Indonesia news, such as "December Sky Phenomena: Geminid Meteor Shower to Solstice", "Mandalika Circuit's Important Role in Bringing Indonesian Drivers to Success in Asia", "Solar Storms Raining on Earth, RI Safe?", "The First Candidate Debate will be Held at the KPU Office on December 12", and "When HIV Tests Become a Scary Scourge Because of People's Scorn". This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The results of this study found several findings such as effective sentences, ineffective sentences, spelling errors according to EYD, errors in the use of diction, and sentences that are not clear to the reader. The most common error found in the five news articles is ineffective sentences. The benefit of this research is to provide knowledge insights in the form of understanding sentence writing systematically, which will be useful in improving understanding of authorship in news texts and preventing errors from occurring again in the same news so that it is worthy of being a literacy material for 12th grade high school students.

Abstract

This research analyzed one of the syntactic fields of study, namely phrases in argumentation texts in class XI textbooks of the Kurikulum Merdeka. Two data will be studied in argumentation texts entitled "Ketahanan Pangan Lokal” and “Ketahanan Pangan pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19". In this study, the researchers limit the analysis of phrase type studies, namely based on word categories in the form of verb and noun phrases. The purpose of this research is to know in depth the research data along with an explanation of the types of phrases based on word categories, namely verb phrases and noun phrases found. In addition, this research is also expected to be valuable as a learning medium, especially in one of the fields of syntactic units, namely about phrases. The research method used a qualitative descriptive methodological approach and theoretical syntax with reading, listening, and recording techniques. In the analysis, it was found that verb phrases based on their position and location were divided into two, namely Coordinative Verb Phrases (FVK) and Subordinative Verb Phrases (FVS). Meanwhile, noun phrases based on their position and location are also divided into two, namely Coordinative Noun Phrases (FNK) and Subordinative Noun Phrases (FNS). To facilitate the analysis and understanding of the reader, the phrase data is presented in the form of a table accompanied by an explanation. This research is important to analyze the phrases in the argumentation text contained in the independent curriculum textbook, this is because the independent curriculum is the latest educational learning system in Indonesia.

Illocutionary acts are a type of speech act that functions to convey information to the interlocutor and can also be used to perform an action. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, which utilizes qualitative data and is presented descriptively. This method was chosen because it aligns with the characteristics of qualitative research that emphasizes description without statistical analysis. Qualitative research is a type of research where the results cannot be obtained through statistical procedures or other measurements. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, which utilizes qualitative data and is presented descriptively. In writing this article, methodological and theoretical approaches are used. The methodological approach applied is qualitative descriptive, while the theoretical approach used is the pragmatic approach. Based on the data analysis results from the Business Lecture video on the YouTube channel Kuliah Kehidupan, locutionary acts in the form of questions, news, information, and commands were found. The science of syntax is present to help further learning about the order of conjunctions, especially coordinative conjunctions. This research is useful to expand knowledge about how coordinative conjunctions are used in speech texts. The purpose of this research is to analyze the types of coordinative conjunctions used in Prabowo Subianto's speech texts. The research object was based on the research needs and the use of coordinative conjunctions in his speeches to be analyzed and classified in depth. The data source was taken from news.detik.com publication on April 24, 2024, in the form of text. Qualitative descriptive approach and syntactical approach were chosen as the theoretical approach. The author obtained the data by reading the object of research and then identified it, so that the listening and recording techniques were used in this research. The agih method was used to analyze the text. The data were presented using formal and informal methods with 67 coordinative conjunctions used by Prabowo Subianto, namely "and" 40 times, "with" 9 times, "or" 1 time, "but" 2 times, "only" 3 times, "even" 1 time, "namely" 1 time, "that" 6 times, "is" 1 time, and "so" 3 times. Coordinative conjunctions play an important role in building text cohesion and the effectiveness of delivering political messages. This research highlights the role of coordinative conjunctions in oral political discourse, especially in the rhetoric of national leadership. The findings strengthen the theory of text cohesion while showing its application in political situations, with an interdisciplinary approach that combines linguistics and political communication science. ze the types of coordinative conjunctions used in Prabowo Subianto's speech texts. Abstract

While existing literature explores AI in healthcare, this study uniquely high-lights technopreneurial approaches to address accessibility and affordability ofAI-based therapies. Focusing on Indonesia as a case study, the paper exam-ines how AI can support children with ADHD who often face delays in speechdevelopment and communication. ADHD affects attention, language process-ing, and social interaction, creating challenges for effective therapy. AI inte-grates machine learning to analyze speech patterns, detect phonological errors, and provide adaptive therapy exercises tailored to children’s developmental lev-els. Findings indicate that AI improves diagnostic accuracy and delivers engag-ing interventions through interactive and gamified tools, enhancing motivationand participation for children who struggle with conventional therapy. AI sys-tems can track progress and adjust feedback in real time, offering personalizedsupport. However, barriers remain regarding affordability, infrastructure, andthe need for human oversight to manage complex emotional and behavioral re-sponses. In this context, technopreneurship is essential to scale affordable AI-based therapies for schools, clinics, and homes. By bridging gaps in healthcaredelivery, this study contributes to SDG 3 (Good Health), SDG 4 (Quality Ed-ucation), and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities). It emphasizes the importance ofinterdisciplinary collaboration among AI developers, speech-language patholo-gists, medical professionals, and educators. Overall, AI-driven technopreneur-ship demonstrates strong potential to improve early detection, therapy person-alization, and language development for children with ADHD, while ensuringbroader accessibility and sustainability.
