Abstract

This research was took based on the low ability of understanding about the concept of mathematics by students. The objective at this research was there were any impact teaching model  IMPROVE with  Accelerated Learning Method toward students’ ability in understanding the concept of mathematics at grade VIII MTs Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau in academic years 2019/2020. The method at this research was True Eksperimental Design. The population was all students grade VII that consist of 288 students and the sample as exsperimental class VIII.1 and as the class control was VIII.3. In collecting the data the researcher used test. The data that was collected, it was analysed by t-test. The result showed that level of sicnificances  = 0,05, it can be concluded that there were impact teaching model IMPROVE with Accelerated Learning Method toward students’ ability in understanding the concept of mathematics at grade VIII MTs Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau in academic yeas 2019/2020. The avarage of students’ score in understanding the concept of mathematics after giving threatment in the class experiment were 56.40 and control class was 40,90.

Abstract

Kejenuhan siswa dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar haruslah diminimalkan dengan cara memberikan metode atau model pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, banyak guru dalam mengajar salah menggunakan metode atau model pembelajarannya, salahsatunya adalah mengajarkan materi operasi hitung perkalian. Agar siswa tidak repot, guru menyarankan siswa menghitung dengan menggunakan alat hitung (kalkulator), padahal ini kurang baik guna perkembangan berpikir siswa tersebut.  Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberi inovasi dalam pembelajaran berhitung dapat menggunakan metode jarimatika. Adapun metode yang dilakukan adalah melalui 3 (tiga) tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah para peserta yang terdiri dari ketercapaian tujuan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat yaitu:  ketercapaian materi yang disampaikan, serta motivasi siswa terlihat meningkat untuk belajar matematika khususnya menghitung oprasi perkalian.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran matematika berbasis realistic mathematics education yang valid dan praktis menggunakan aplikasi macromedia flash pada materi sistem persamaan linier dua variabel di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 01 Lubuklinggau dan mengetahui karakteristik media pembelajaran macromedia flash yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Berdasarkan hasil validasi oleh tiga ahli yaitu: ahli bahasa, ahli materi dua validator, dan ahli media pembelajaran macromedia flash  memenuhi kriteria valid dengan rata-rata skor 4,14. Sedangkan hasil analisis penilaian angket kepraktisan diperoleh bahwa media pembelajaran macromedia flash memenuhi kriteria praktis dengan rata-rata skor 4,08. Karakteristik yang dihasilkan dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran macromedia flash adalah materi sesuai kompetensi yang ingin dicapai, konsep materi yang disajikan benar dan berfokus pada keterkaitan antar disiplin, terdapat petunjuk yang jelas, terdapat apersepsi, alur pembelajaran jelas, terdapat pertanyaan masalah untuk diselesaikan siswa, kesimpulan setiap sub materi, latihan dan pembahasannya, serta soal evaluasi, penyelidikan autentik dan interaktif, bersifat mandiri dan menghasilkan karya dan memamerkannya, navigasi mudah, urutan terkendali, bahasa mudah dipahami siswa, gambar, animasi, teks, dan warna tersaji secara serasi dan harmonis, dan berkolaborasi.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge and competence of teachers in implementing schoology-based E-learning learning, and 2) through this activity to motivate teachers to implement schoology-based E-learning learning in order to optimize ICT-based learning. The basic education unit in Lubuklinggau City consists of public and private elementary schools, one of which is the Mutiara Cendekia IT Elementary School, which is a partner in this service activity. IT Cendekia Mutiara Elementary School Lubuklinggau is a private elementary school that has complete facilities, including a computer laboratory. The training participants were 32 teachers of the Mutiara Cendekia IT Elementary School. The training is carried out for 3 days with a minimum time of 32 hours. The methods for implementing the activities are: 1) the preparation and observation stage, 2) the socialization stage, 3) the implementation stage, and 4) the evaluation stage. The results of the achievement of this activity were 1) the number of participants was considered enthusiastic, followed by 32 teachers, more than the targeted number of participants, and 2) the teacher's response to the schoology-based e-learning media showed interest and response was very good with the percentage of response questionnaires reaching 85%.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the metacognitive skills approach in learning mathematics on the mathematical generalization ability of the students of SMP Negeri Megang Sakti. The type of research used is a quasi-experimental research. This research was conducted in class VII1 as the experimental class and class VII2 as the control class. The population in this study were all seventh grade students of SMP Negeri Megang Sakti. The experimental class uses a metacognitive approach and the control class uses conventional learning. The data collection method used is the technique test method. Data were analyzed using t-test. Based on the analysis of the final test, the average value of the experimental class was 80.06 and the control class was 67.24 with Sgab = 9.65, based on the calculations on the hypothesis test, the value of tcount = 5,323 > ttable = 1,669. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of the metacognitive skills approach in learning mathematics on the generalization ability of students at SMP Negeri Megang Sakti.

Abstract

This activity aims to provide knowledge and skills using GeoGebra software in learning, especially those related to geometry. The methods used in this activity are lectures, practice, training and discussions. The training participants were 18 students of the STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau Mathematics Education Study Program. The instruments used as a form of evaluation of this training activity were test questions and student response questionnaires. Based on data analysis through the calculation of N-Gain between the pretest and posttest, it was obtained a value of 0.85 which indicates that the increase in the understanding of the training participants was in the high category and the results of the student response questionnaire showed a positive student response of 89.55% with the very good category.

Abstract

Workshop activities on making learning media for mathematics learning media based on Video Scribe as an alternative online learning for teacher working groups produce simple teacher-made learning media that can be used during learning during the current pandemic. Based on the results of the questionnaire analysis on the practicality of the workshop on making video scribe-based mathematics learning media as an alternative online learning for the teacher working group for the first indicator, a score of 56 was obtained with a percentage of 73.68%, for the second indicator a score of 64 was obtained with a percentage of 84.21%, for the third indicator a score of 60 was obtained with a percentage of 78.94%, for the fourth indicator a score of 59 was obtained with a percentage of 77.63%, for the fifth indicator a score of 70 was obtained with a percentage of 92.10%, for the sixth indicator a score of 66 was obtained with a percentage of 86.84 %, and for the seventh indicator, a score of 72 was obtained with a percentage of 94.73%. Overall, the average score of the practicality of the workshop on making video scribe-based mathematics learning media as an alternative online learning for the teacher working group was 84.01% in the good category.

Abstract

Guru di MTs Mazro’Illah belum pernah mendapatkan workshop tentang pembuatan e-modul. Workshop tersebut diberikan kepada guru di MTs Mazro;illah Lubuklinggau sebagai upaya meningkatkan kualitas dan mutu pembelajaran dikelas terutama pembelajaran di masa Pasca Pandemi Covid-19 saat ini. Adapun pelaksanaan PKM ini direncanakan akan dilaksanakan di Lingkungan MTs Mazro’illah Lubuklinggau. Pengabdian tersebut didasarkan dengan melihat kondisi saat ini pendidikan dihadapkan dengan berbagai macam kemajuan IPTEK yang mempengaruhi perkembangan strategi pembelajaran. Melalui e-modul tersebut diharapkan dapat membantu siswa memahami materi yang telah dipelajari disekolah dengan membukanya lagi dirumah. Sistem penyampaian materi dalam kegiatan workshop ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode ceramah yang dikombinasikan dengan metode demonstrasi dan latihan. Selanjutnya di akhir kegiatan diberikan evaluasi kepada guru yang mengikuti kegiatan tersebut untuk melihat indikator keberhasilan guru dalam membuat e-modul interaktif sesuai dengan materi pembelajaran di kelas masing-masing.
