Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan lembar kerja siswa matematika berbasis pendekatan open-ended yang valid, praktis dan efektif dalam melatih kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa Kelas VIII SMP di Kota Lubuklinggau. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development). Prosedur penelitian pengembangan LKS diadaptasi dari model pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran 4-D yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop), dan penyebaran (disseminate). Ujicoba terbatas dan ujicoba kelompok besar dilakukan di SMP Negeri 14 Lubuklinggau kelas VIII dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 29 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menghasilkan LKS berbasis pendekatan open-ended yang valid dengan nilai rata-rata 4,167, praktis dengan nilai rata-rata 4,21 dan efektif dengan nilai rata-rata 4,126. Implementasi LKS Berbasis Pendekatan open-ended meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau sebesar 79,70% dengan kategori baik, SMP Negeri 14 Kota Lubuklinggau sebesar 74,02% dengan kategori baik, dan SMP PGRI 3 Kota Lubuklinggau sebesar 66,45% dengan kategori baik.This study aims to produce mathematics student worksheets based on a valid, practical and effective open-ended approach in training mathematical problem solving skills of VIII SMP students in Lubuklinggau City. The type of research conducted is development research (Research and Development). The LKS development research procedure is adapted from a 4-D learning device development model consisting of 4 stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Limited trials and large group trials were conducted in the eighth grade Lubuklinggau Middle School 14 with a total of 29 students. Based on the results of data analysis produces worksheet based on a valid open-ended approach with an average value of 4.167, practically with an average value of 4.21 and effective with an average value of 4.126. Implementation of Student-Based Worksheets An open-ended approach improves students' problem solving abilities in Lubuklinggau Middle School 1 by 79.70% in good category, Lubuklinggau Middle School 14 State by 74.02% in good category, and Lubuklinggau City PGRI 3 Junior High School by 66.45 % in good category.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This thesis is entitled "The Effect of Problem Solving Learning Model Using Brainstroming Methods Against the Mathematical Problem Solving Ability of Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau". This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the Problem Solving Learning Model by using the Brainstroming Method to the Mathematical Problem Solving Ability of Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau. This type of research is in the form of Experimental Design Tru. The population, all students of class VII of SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau were 406 students and the sample was class VII.5 with 35 students as experimental class and VII.4 with 35 students as control class. Sampling is done randomly. Data collection in research using test techniques. The collected data were analyzed using t-test at a significant level α = 0.05. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that There is an Effect of Problem Solving Learning Model by Using Brainstroming Method to the Mathematical Problem Solving Ability of Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau. The average value of the problem solving ability of the experimental class was 62.5 and the control class was 43.3.

Abstract

This study was aimed to determine the development levels of higher-order thinking skills on students through the guided inquiry-based learning approach. The research method used was experimental, with true empirical design research. The sample selection was performed by random sampling technique. Data was collected through five tests of essay forms in accordance with various indicators of higher-order thinking abilities, including analysing (C4), evaluating (C5) and creating (C6). The results of this study indicated that the percentage of higher-order thinking ability in the experimental class was 86%, while in the control class was lower, at 79.3%. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that students with higher-order thinking skills taught through this guided inquiry-based learning were superior compared to those taught by conventional learning.AbstractThis study was aimed to determine the development levels of higher-order thinking skills on students through the guided inquiry-based learning approach. Abstract

Kejenuhan siswa dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar haruslah diminimalkan dengan cara memberikan metode atau model pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, banyak guru dalam mengajar salah menggunakan metode atau model pembelajarannya, salahsatunya adalah mengajarkan materi operasi hitung perkalian. Agar siswa tidak repot, guru menyarankan siswa menghitung dengan menggunakan alat hitung (kalkulator), padahal ini kurang baik guna perkembangan berpikir siswa tersebut.  Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberi inovasi dalam pembelajaran berhitung dapat menggunakan metode jarimatika. Adapun metode yang dilakukan adalah melalui 3 (tiga) tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah para peserta yang terdiri dari ketercapaian tujuan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat yaitu:  ketercapaian materi yang disampaikan, serta motivasi siswa terlihat meningkat untuk belajar matematika khususnya menghitung oprasi perkalian.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh siswa pada materi teorema pythagoras. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan sumber, yaitu berupa hasil tes dalam bentuk uraian sebanyak 3 soal, wawancara tidak berstuktur dan dokumentasi berupa buku catatan siswa dan LKS siswa. Sampel terdiri dari 24 siswa dengan kemampuan yang berbeda yaitu, rendah, tinggi dan sedang. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa persentase rata-rata kesalahan konseptual siswa sebesar 99% dalam kategori sangat tinggi, persentase rata-rata kesalahan prosedural siswa sebesar 63% dalam kategori tinggi, dan persentase rata-rata kesalahan komputasi siswa sebesar 82% dalam kategori sangat tinggi.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to find out the effectiveness of mathematical learning outcomes to the eighth-grade students after giving treatment by using the problem-based learning model. a pre-experimental method was used in this research. The population of this research was all eighth-grade students of Junior High School. The number of the population was 103 students, while the sample was chosen randomly. The sample of this research was 33 students. Data collection was carried out using a test in the form of an essay. The results of this research showed that it was significantly effective to use problem-based learning model in ELPSA framework to the eighth-grade students of Junior High School. It was proved by the average score of the final test after giving treatment was 79.33 and the total number of students who completed the score was 78.79%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of worksheets based on an open-ended approach to students' mathematical problem solving abilities. Subjects in the study were eighth grade public and private junior high school students in Lubuklinggau City who were from 3 schools. Each school is SMP Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau totaling 33 students, SMP Negeri 14 Lubuklinggau totaling 29 students and SMP PGRI 3 Lubuklinggau totaling 14 students. Data collection techniques in this study are test techniques. the test used in the study is a description test which is compiled based on indicators of mathematical problem solving abilities. The data analysis technique used in this study is one sample t-test with the help of  SPSS Version 24 program.The data analysis t-test students' mathematical problem solving capabilities of three schools only SMP Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau which show significantly less than equal to 61 (μo 61). SMP Negeri 14 Kota Lubuklinggau and SMP PGRI 3 Lubuklinggau showed that the average mathematical problem-solving ability of students after using LKS based on open-ended was significantly more than 61 (μo  61). Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD) berbasis higher order thinking skill (HOTS) yang dapat memfasilitasi siswa dalam melatih kemampuan berpikir tingkat tingginya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan. Proses pengembangan LKPD diadaptasi dari model pengembangan 4-D (Four-D Models) yang terdiri dari pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop), dan penyebaran (disseminate). Tahap pendefinisian meliputi analisis awal-akhir siswa, analisis tugas, analisis konsep dan spesifikasi tujuan. Tahap perancangan terdiri dari penyusunan tes, pemilihan media, dan pemilihan format. Tahap pengembangan terdiri dari uji kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan. Tahap penyebaran ini dilakukan dengan membagikan LKPD berbasis HOTS ke sekolah lain, selanjutnya siswa diminta untuk mengisi lembar angket respon terhadap LKPD yang dibagikan. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian validasi diperoleh skor rata-rata, yaitu aspek materi sebesar 3,73 dengan kategori valid, aspek konstruksi/media sebesar 4,28 dengan kategori sangat valid dan  aspek bahasa sebesar 4,06 dengan kategori valid. Hasil penilaian kepraktisan siswa diperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 4,15 dengan kategori praktis dan kepraktisan guru sebesar  3,60 dengan kategori praktis. Selanjutnya, hasil penilaian keefektifan melalui tes HOTS menunjukkan persentase ketuntasan secara klasikal sebesar 86,7% dan respon siswa menunjukkan respon positif terhadap LKPD. Hasil penilaian tes menunjukkan rata-rata pretes diperoleh 30,76, sedangkan postes diperoleh 74,09. Artinya, terdapat peningkatan rata-rata nilai kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dari pretes ke postes dalam ujicoba lapangan. AbstractThe purpose of this study was to develop worksheets based on higher order thinking skills that facilitate students in practicing their higher order thinking skills. The research method used is research and development. The worksheet development process is adapted from the 4-D model which consists of define, design, develop, and disseminate. The defining stage includes preliminary-final analysis, task analysis, concept analysis and goal specification. The design stage consists of composing tests, selecting media, and selecting formats. The development stage consists of testing the validity, practicality and effectiveness. The dissemination stage was carried out by distributing worksheets based on higher order thinking skills to other schools, then students were asked to fill out a questionnaire response to the worksheets that were distributed. Based on the results of the validation assessment, an average score was obtained, namely the material aspect was 3,73 with the valid category, the construction / media aspect was 4,28 with the very valid category and the language aspect was 4,06 with the valid category. The results of the student practicality assessment obtained an average score of 4,15 with the practical category and the teacher's practicality of 3,60 with the practical category. Furthermore, the results of the effectiveness assessment through the higher order thinking skill test showed a classical completeness percentage of 86,7% and student responses showed a positive response to the worksheet. The results of the test assessment showed that the pretest average was 30,76, while the post-test was 74,09. That is, there is an increase in the average value of higher order thinking skills from pretest to posttest in field trials.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika di SMP di Muara Beliti. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa setelah implementasi model Problem Based Learning dengan teknik Scaffolding kelas VII SMP di Muara Beliti. Penelitian ini berbentuk eksperimen semu yang dilaksanakan tanpa adanya kelompok pembanding. Populasinya seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP di Muara Beliti yang berjumlah 310 siswa. Sebagai sampel adalah kelas VII.3 dengan 35 siswa yang di ambil secara acak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes berbentuk uraian. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan uji-t pada taraf kepercayaan 0,05. Dari hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VII SMP di Muara Beliti setelah mengikuti model Problem Based Learning dalam kategori baik. Rata-rata nilai kemampuan pemecahan masalah setelah diberi perlakuan sebesar 72,11, persentase jumlah siswa dengan kategori baik dan sangat baik sebesar 82,86%.
