Abstract

To facilitate the processing of thesis management reports, reports assignments, minutes and attendance, an application is needed. Dealing with these needs, an analysis of the processing of student thesis data processing needs to be done so that results and requirements can be obtained for the application that is need. The analysis was carried out by analyzing the needs, users and facilities needed by the application. The result of this study was the data processing information system for organizing student thesis using the waterfall method. There are 5 stages that were carried out in order to obtain maximum results, namely Communication (Project Initiation & Requirements Gathering), Planning (Estimating, Scheduling, Tracking), Modeling (Analysis & Design), Construction (Code & Test), and Deployment (Delivery, Support, Feedback). The finding showed that this application helps facilitate the processing of thesis implementation data and displays the information needed by Batusangkar State Islamic Institute users.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas penerapan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process untuk penerimaan tenaga administrasi menggunakan aplikasi sistem pendukung keputusan. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari permasalahan yang ada pada penerimaan tenaga administrasi di IAIN Batusangkar. Selama ini proses penerimaan tenaga administrasi di IAIN Batusangkar banyak memakan waktu, karena cara pengerjaannya belum terkomputerisasi yaitu membuat pengumuman, seleksi administrasi, ujian tulis, dan terakhir wawancara. Dengan menggunakan metode AHP yang mampu mencetuskan hasil yang lebih konsisten dari metode-metode lainnya serta mudah dipahami dan digunakan, maka pengambilan Keputusan penerimaan tenaga administrasi dengan metode AHP ini dapat menjadi media bagi instansi dalam menentukan siapa calon tenaga administrasi yang kompeten.

Abstract

Perkembangan Teknologi Informasi yang semakin pesat, kebutuhan akan suatu konsep dan mekanisme belajar mengajar berbasis TI menjadi tidak terelakkan lagi. Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi membawa pengaruh terhadap kemajuan proses pendidikan. Melalui e-learning, penyebaran ilmu pengetahuan akan jadi lebih mudah dan ruang lingkup akan lebih luas. Pada objek peneliti, tepatnya di SMP N 1 Sungai Tarab belum mempunyai suatu sarana untuk mengolah dan memudahkan dalam penyebaran materi pembelajaran, makalah, maupun ilmu pengetahuan lain. Maka perlu dibangun suatu Website e-learning berbasis web yang dapat diakses kapan saja dan dimana saja, sehingga dapat mendukung proses pembelajaran. Website ini dibangun dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan MySQL, yang dibantu dengan pemodelan UML (Unifield Modeling Languange). Dengan adanya Website e-learning ini dihasilkan fasilitas pembelajaran pendamping diluar pembelajaran tatap muka.

Abstract

Poetry holds a very deep meaning that cannot even be only touched by a heuristic approach reading. When poetry is transformed into strings of tones or musicalization, the power of meaning in words will be even more stunning and make the affirmation of words stronger and more rooted. This article will reveal two of Rendra's transformation poems in the form of musicalized poems entitled “Serenada Kelabu” and “Kangen”. This article revealed the negation of "I" in poetry by using theoretical concepts textually and contextually. Textual analysis reveals the use of figurative language through the transformation of the poetry in the third song of Rendra's poem, while contextual analysis seeks to reveal the discourse built through the three poems. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method. The results of this study indicate that Both " Serenada Kelabu" and "Kangen" are poems in which the "I" that is opposed to the "You" and is defined by "love" is used to refer to the speaker. I feel so tormented as a result of my love for myself, tormented by my feelings of loss as well as loneliness. Because of love, "I" ceases to exist independently and is subjected to "you," whose existence only lives in the "I" as shadow.

Abstract

ABSTRAKNagari Kumanis adalah nagari yang berada di kecamatan Sumpur Kudus, ujung paling utara Kabupaten Sijunjung, Sumatera Barat. Kebanyakan staf administrasinya masih belum terlalu paham bagaimana penggunaan aplikasi excel. Terutama dalam pembuatan surat tugas dan surat perintah perjalanan dinas. Pada kegiatan ini, dilakukanlah pendampingan kepada staf administrasi nagari Kumanis untuk membuat surat tugas dan surat perintah perjalanan dinas yang sistematis. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan adalah pendampingan. Dalam Pendampingan ini dilakukan dengan mencontohkan di depan terlebih dahulu baru peserta mengerjakan dengan tetap berintekrasi dengan narasumber. Kegiatan ini dilakukan pasca Covid 2019 secara offline pada pertengahan tahun 2022 di Labor Komputer UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar. Berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test yang diberikan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa 75% peserta yang kemampuannya dalam penggunanaan rumus excel kurang baik sebelum pendampingan dan menjadi lebih baik dalam penggunaan rumus excel setelah dilakukan pendampingan yaitu dari 75% peserta yang kemampuannya minim berkurang menjadi 10% peserta. Para peserta juga menganggap pendampingan ini meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam pengoperasian aplikasi excel. Kata kunci: aplikasi; excel; staf administrasi; covid 2019. ABSTRACTNagari Kumanis is a nagari located in Sumpur Kudus sub-district, the far north of Sijunjung Regency, West Sumatra. Most administrative staff still don't understand how to use the Excel application. Especially in the preparation of assignment letters and official travel orders. In this activity, assistance was provided to the administrative staff of the Kumanis village to systematically carry out assignment letters and official travel orders. The implementation method used is tutoring. In this tutorial, it is carried out by giving an example in front of the participants first, then the participants work on it while interacting with the resource persons. This activity was carried out offline after Covid 2019 at UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar Computer Laboratories. Based on the pre- and post-test results, it can be concluded that many participants had poor skills before tutoring and improved after tutoring. Participants also thought that this assistance would improve their ability to operate the Excel application. Keywords: applications; excel; administrative staf; covid 2019.

Abstract

The role of technology is urgently needed by society as a precaution in dealing with the changes in the age of Industrial Revolution 4.0 to Industrial Revolution 5.0. Operating a computer, especially the Excel application, is one of the hard skills for the community. Microsoft Excel is usually known as number processing software or it can be referred to as a spreadsheet application that is designed to process data automatically such as arithmetic calculations, formulas, use of functions, tables, charts and data management to create information. This service activity presents issues identified by Kumanis Nagari officials and government, namely the lack of optimal use of computers, particularly the community's use of the Excel application, and the need to improve the community's knowledge and skills to Optimization of use to improve the Excel application. The solution offered is the training of the Excel application for processing simple data such as the data processing of official travel orders and wage data of the employees. The methodology for implementing this non-profit activity uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. The results of conducting this training are designed to provide an understanding of using the Excel application to create official travel orders and employee payroll data, as well as increase hard skills for the apparatus and staff of the village guard and management of BUMDES Batujonggi Nagari Kumanis.

Abstract

Abstrak Proses  Produksi Televisi dan Film merupakan salah satu pengetahuan penting bagi siswa – siswi  SMK khususnya yang memilih jurusan dibidang tersebut. Namun sering sekali kegiatan proses produksi dilakukan dengan tahapannya belum sesuai, oleh karena itu sangat dibutuhkan pelatihan yang berkelanjutan untuk dapat mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Kegiatan pelatihan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan guru dan peserta didik di SMK Nasional Kayu Tanam tentang proses Produksi Televisi dan Film. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan pada pelaksaaan pelatihan ini adalah metode ceramah. Adapun yang menjadi mitra/peserta pelatihan adalah guru dan siswa/ siswi SMK Nasional Kayu Tanam, Kabupaten Padang Pariaman, Provinsi Sumatera Barat  yang terdiri dari 6 orang guru dan 21 orang siswa/siswi. Ceramah diberikan dalam ruangan kelas yang dimulai dengan perkenalan, penjelasan materi, tanya jawab, dan pemberian doorprize. Materi yang disampaikan meliputi materi tahapan pra produksi, tahapan produksi dan tahapan pasca produksi TV dan Film. Kegiatan pelatihan ini berhasil memberikan pemahaman kepada guru dan peserta didik tentang pengetahuan proses produksi televisi dan film. Pelatihan ini dapat meningkatkan kreativitas guru dalam memberikan pembelajaran melalui media audio visual, sedangkan bagi peserta didik dapat membantu kesulitan dalam belajar dengan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran  audio-visual. Pelatihan ini juga dilakukan dalam upaya untuk meningkatan SDM SMK Kayu Tanam dalam menghasilkan lulusan yang mampu bersaing dengan kebutuhan industri global. Kata kunci: pelatihan; produksi; TV dan film AbstractThe Television and Film Production Process is an important piece of knowledge for vocational school students, especially those who choose to major in this field. However, production process activities are often carried out in inappropriate stages, therefore ongoing training is needed to be able to overcome these problems. The training activity aims to increase the knowledge of teachers and students at Kayu Tanam National Vocational School about the Television and Film Production process. The training method used in implementing this training is the lecture method. The partners/training participants are teachers and students of Kayu Tanam National Vocational School, Padang Pariaman Regency, West Sumatra Province, consisting of 6 teachers and 21 students. Lectures are given in the classroom starting with introductions, explanation of the material, questions and answers, and giving door prizes. The material presented includes material on pre-production stages, production stages and post-production stages for TV and film. This training activity was successful in providing teachers and students with an understanding of the knowledge of the television and film production process. This training can increase teacher creativity in providing learning through audio-visual media, while students can help with learning difficulties by utilizing audio-visual learning media. This training is also carried out in an effort to improve the human resources of Kayu Tanam Vocational School in producing graduates who are able to compete with the needs of global industry. Keywords: training; production; TV and film.

Abstract

Community service activities are one of the main responsibilities of lecturers as educators in the university environment. This community service aims to provide knowledge and improve the ability to guide educational tourism related to woven songket to enhance the promotion of SMEs through tourism. The community service activities are conducted at the SME "Rumah Songket Eka Halaban." The achieved results include an increase in participants' knowledge and skills in communicating with tourists, the hospitality of employees when tourists visit, and the application of the seven charms at Rumah Songket Eka Halaban. With these improved abilities, it is expected to boost the promotion of SMEs through tourism. The limitation of this community service activity lies in participants who are not yet accustomed to dealing with tourists with diverse backgrounds and characteristics. To be more effective in guiding educational tourism, considerable practice is needed. Similar community service activities can be conducted periodically by SMEs to familiarize themselves with dealing with tourists. With enhanced abilities, the training participants, including the owner of SME Rumah Songket Eka Halaban, hope that educational tourism activities related to woven songket can improve even further in the future.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini ditujukan untuk meningkatkan strategi pemasaran produk di era digitalisasi. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan berupa pelatihan tentang branding strategy pada UMKM Batik Rang Minang Padang Panjang. Peserta yang hadir pada pengabdian ini bukan hanya dihadiri oleh anggota UMKM Batik Rang Minang, tetapi juga dihadiri oleh beberapa UMKM lainnya dari kota Padang Panjang. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama satu hari pada Tanggal 26 Desember 2022. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah metode ceramah dan tanya jawab, metode demonstrasi serta metode presentasi. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan lima tahap yang meliputi pembukaan Pembukaan dan Penjelasan tentang Pelatihan Pemasaran Produk, pemaparan materi dengan ceramah dan tanya jawab, demonstrasi, presentasi hasil dan evaluasi. Selama kegiatan berlangsung, para anggota UMKM sangat antusias mendengarkan materi yang dipaparkan dan mempraktekkan materi penyusunan kalimat copywriting yang benar dan mempresentasikan didepan anggota UMKM lainnya. Hasil dari pengabdian ini para pelaku UMKM memiliki kemampuan untuk menyusun strategi pemasaran/promosi yang baik di era digital dan mampu meningkatkan kualitas konten media sosial yang telah dipilih yang dijadikan sarana pemasaran produk sehingga dapat menguasai pasar dan mampu bersaing dengan para competitor.

Abstract

In the management of hospitals, Corporate Identity plays a pivotal role in brand recognition, image formation, and public perception. The primary objective behind the establishment of the hospital's Corporate Identity is to facilitate the audience's ability to remember and trust the institution as a professional and highly competent healthcare service provider, thereby fostering loyalty among the target audience.The main challenge faced by RSUD Bukittinggi is the absence of a clear corporate identity, serving as a reminder to the community and patients regarding the positive image and unique characteristics of RSUD Bukittinggi. Furthermore, this corporate identity also serves as a distinguishing factor for RSUD Bukittinggi from other healthcare facilities.In light of this, RSUD Bukittinggi requires innovative ideas in constructing a Corporate Identity that can effectively present the image, unique characteristics, and excellence possessed by RSUD Bukittinggi. The existence of RSUD Bukittinggi as a hospital offering medical tourism services in the city of Bukittinggi demands a corporate identity befitting its distinguished position.As a comprehensive solution to address this issue, a step taken is to design a corporate identity strategy for RSUD Bukittinggi utilizing the SWOT analysis method. This strategic approach can yield results that are congruent and highly effective in conveying the identity and distinctive characteristics of this institution. Components of this comprehensive corporate identity strategy include logo creation, typography selection, determination of identity colors, and utilization of various communication channels, all meticulously designed to facilitate the audience in identifying the unique characteristics and excellence of RSUD Bukittinggi.Keywords: Corporate identity, RSUD Bukittinggi
