Abstract

Geometry is a sub-matter that exists in mathematics related to everyday life. The existence of an understanding related to geometry material has a positive impact on increasing spatial abilities from various points of view. The ability to see geometric shapes from various perspectives is related to rotation and rotational symmetry. Studying rotational symmetry and how rotation affects its appearance and geometric properties will help deepen your understanding of the overall geometric shape. The purpose of this study is to provide a description of the views to prove the level of rotational symmetry in geometric 3D shapes by considering the description of the advantages and disadvantages of using geogebra and manipulative application media which are adapted to their respective characteristics. This research is a qualitative research. Data collection techniques used are observation and interviews. The instruments used were observation sheets and interview sheets. The data analysis technique used is data triangulation. The research results obtained are proving the degree of rotational symmetry in geometric shapes which have 1) the advantages of using geogebra: it does not take long to prove, it is flexible regarding geometric dimensions and the determination of the symmetry axis, does not take up space/practical, is available in the form of applications and online websites 2 ) Weaknesses of using GeoGebra: having to use a PC/laptop, the ability of GeoGebra users to use it is the main variable, limitations on PC/laptop, or internet performance, 3) advantages of using manipulative media: easier and more real in observing the degree of rotational symmetry, display at each level the degree of rotational symmetry can be marked to facilitate calculations, 4) the weakness of using manipulative media: it takes time to make manipulative media, the media requires an appropriate size for practice, inflexibility regarding the size and placement of the axis of symmetry.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the strengthening of the numeracy and digital literacy competencies of SDS IT Az-Zahra Demak teachers. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a field research approach. Research techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The result of community service in terms of strengthening teachers' numeracy and digital literacy competencies is the collaboration of all parties, including school principals, teachers, parents and students, to openly provide constructive suggestions and input for the progress of the school, in addition to providing provision in the form of training and workshops. digital. Strengthening in community service activities is provided in the form of workshops and training on digital teaching materials, learning methods and teacher abilities in numeracy and digital literacy competencies. This community service strategy was developed by teachers in terms of strengthening teachers' numeracy and literacy competencies. Strengthening material regarding numeracy and digital literacy competencies can also shape teachers' character and create innovations in digital-based learning materials.

Abstract

Problem-solving ability is one of the abilities developed in the mathematics curriculum in various countries. The purpose of this study was to (1) determine the proportion of support for improving problem-solving abilities in high school mathematics curriculum documents in Finland and Indonesia, (2) determine the comparison of support in improving problem-solving abilities in high school mathematics curriculum documents in Finland and Indonesia. The method of this study is Study Literature Review (SLR). The data collection technique is documentation. The data analysis technique used is meta-synthesis with a meta-aggregation approach. The results of the study obtained (1) the proportion of problem-solving abilities in the components of the high school mathematics curriculum in both Finland and Indonesia was 44%. (2) the similarities between the Finnish and Indonesian curricula at the high school level to improve mathematical problem-solving abilities are in the aspect of mathematics learning, there are transversal components, there are general objectives and study objectives/learning achievements, the availability of modules and assessments, while the differences between the Finnish and Indonesian curricula at the high school level to improve mathematical problem-solving abilities are in the components of mathematical objectives and evaluation. In Indonesia, problem solving is one of the focuses of general mathematics objectives. Although in Finland the general objectives of mathematics do not include problem solving, they appear in each study objective. In the Finnish curriculum, the focus of evaluation includes problem solving and the obligation to use technology in evaluation, while in the Indonesian curriculum, evaluation is focused on initial, process, and final learning assessments.

Abstract

PISA results show a decline in mathematical literacy scores, indicating the need for teachers to design lessons that support the understanding of mathematical concepts in various contexts and times. Although direct interaction between students and teachers is limited, it is necessary to use learning media that allows students to learn flexibly, whenever needed. The use of student’s worksheet combined with Microsoft Mathematic Solver will facilitate students' curiosity to confirm the results of the student’s worksheet that have been done self-regulationly which can be accessed anytime and anywhere. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of the practicality of the Microsoft Mathematics Solver-based student’s worksheet on SMK Trigonometry material in increasing the self-regulation dimension in the Self-regulation Curriculum Pancasila Student Profile. This research is a development research that uses a modification of the 4D method. Validators consist of media expert lecturers, and math teachers. The instrument used is the validation sheet for the Microsoft Mathematics Solver-based student’s worksheet on SMK Trigonometry material. The data analysis technique used is the average test. The results obtained are the validity score of the Microsoft Mathematics Solver-based student’s worksheet on SMK Trigonometry material in increasing the self-regulation dimension in the Self-regulation Curriculum Pancasila Student Profile is 3.5 which is included in the valid category

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of youtube-based moodle learning media on student learning outcomes. This research method uses quasi-experimental. The results showed that there was an influence of youtube-based moodle learning media on student learning outcomes, this was indicated by the posttest results being higher than the pre-test results.

Abstract

The development of information technology is now growing and important, so that in the world of education it will always be used. One of the information technologies used in the world of education is e-learning. This study aims to use e-learning-based mathematics learning media to increase student motivation and learning outcomes. Pre experimental design with one-group pretest posttest design is a type of this research. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The research instruments included validation sheets for learning mathematics media (media experts and material experts), student questionnaires and student learning outcomes. The results of the validation of the mathematics learning media obtained by the material expert on average were 3.75 (interesting), and the media expert obtained an average of 4.6 (very interesting). From these results states that the mathematics learning media is feasible to use. The results of the student’s motivation response using e-learning-based mathematics learning media were very strong, namely 75% agree, 20% strongly agree, disagree and strongly disagree 5% and 0%, respectively. The average student learning outcomes after using e-learning-based mathematics learning media increased, namely the average pre-test results were 43.90 and the average post-test results were 78.30.

Abstract

Ketersediaan alat permainan edukatif (APE) yang terbatas di PAUD Nurul Huda mendorong perlunya pelatihan bagi guru untuk meningkatkan kuantitas dan kualitas APE secara mandiri. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas guru dalam membuat APE ramah lingkungan dari bahan sederhana dan mudah ditemukan. Metode pelatihan meliputi ceramah, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung pembuatan APE Angka dan Puzzle Geometri. Evaluasi kegiatan menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala Likert menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan sangat efektif, dengan skor rata-rata pemahaman konsep sebesar 4,7; keterampilan teknis 4,6; kreativitas 4,4; dan relevansi terhadap pembelajaran sebesar 4,8. Seluruh peserta berhasil menghasilkan APE yang fungsional dan menunjukkan inisiatif pengembangan lanjutan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini dapat menjadi model pemberdayaan guru PAUD yang berkelanjutan dan kontekstual untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran anak usia dini.

Abstract

Salah satu aspek dalam kompetensi pedagogik guru yaitu mampu memanfaatkan teknologi dalam pembelajaran, misalnya mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif. Namun, kemampuan guru untuk membuat media pembelajaran berbasis TIK masih rendah. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru SD dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif. Kegiatan pelatihan dibagi menjadi pemaparan materi, praktik, penugasan, pendampingan dan evaluasi oleh Tim PPM. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pemahaman dan kemampuan peserta pelatihan dalam membuat media pembelajaran interaktif. Persentase nilai rata-rata sebelum mengikuti kegiatan yaitu 51%, dan setelah mengikuti pelatihan yaitu 79%. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan mampu mendukung pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam membuat media pembelajaran interaktif.

Abstract

Pada periode tiga tahun terakhir penelitian Unisvet menempati peringkat nasional ke 409 atau peringkat 478 secara keseluruhan dari 5.141 instansi yang terdaftar pada laman sinta ristekbrin. Pelatihan tentang penelitian diperlukan untuk dapat meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas penelitian dimulai dari pendampingan penyusunan proposal, Pencarian Kepustakaan Berbasis Internet dan Penguasaan Manajemen Kepustakaan. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan selama 15 hari yang terbagi menjadi 2 kegiatan utama. Kegiatan 1 yakni Penguasaan Manajemen Kepustakaan, contoh EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero, dll dilaksanakan selama 5 pertemuan yang menghasilkan menghasilkan 19 peserta yang sudah menggunakan Mendeley; Kegiatan 2 yakni Peningkatan Kompetensi Dosen melalui Penyusunan Proposal Penelitian dan Pencarian Kepustakaan Berbasis Internet dilaksanakan selama 10 hari dengan luaran 16 Draft proposal penelitian lengkap (bab 1, bab 2, bab 3, jadwal penelitian, rencana anggaran). Pelatihan ini sebagai stimulus untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas penelitian sehingga berdampak positif pada jabatan fungsional dosen dan juga akreditasi program studi.

Abstract

The competency improvement currently needed by teachers is literacy competency. Literacy competency in the world of education is very lacking and enthusiasm and motivation in the world of education is very minimal, so there is a need for training to increase literacy competency within teachers. This training to increase teacher competency was carried out at the Az-Zahra Integrated Islamic SDS Demak through direct provision of material and practice. All service teams provide knowledge and material related to literacy competencies needed by teachers. The result of this service is that teachers can develop literacy competencies in a comprehensive and detailed manner.
