Abstract

Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) is social food assistance in the form of non-cash from the government which is given to Beneficiary Families (KPM) every month through an electronic account mechanism which is used only to buy food at traders or e-warongs. One of the difficulties that the government sometimes faces in distributing BPNT is that the distribution process is uneven and not on target. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out further analysis using a mathematical approach, so that we can determine the feasibility of a BPNT recipient prediction problem. Through the results of the data collection analysis, it can be seen whether residents are eligible to receive BPNT or not. Based on existing problems, a classification method is used to predict the eligibility of BPNT beneficiaries using two methods, namely the ID3 algorithm and the C4.5 algorithm. The ID3 algorithm produces an accuracy value of 90%, precision of 100%, and recall of 83.33%. The C4.5 algorithm produces an accuracy value of 80%, precision of 100%, and recall of 80%. The AUC/ROC value of the ID3 algorithm is 0.500, the classification is diagnosed in the AUC/ROC curve as failure or failure in classification. The C4.5 algorithm has an AUC/ROC value of 0.800, meaning that the classification is included in good classification. In this way, it can be concluded that the C4.5 algorithm has better results compared to the ID3 algorithm

Abstract

More than 13 countries in the Americas have reported sporadic Zika virus infection that show very rapid geographic expansion. While in Indonesia, the euphoria is also increasingly prevalent virus discussed especially after the discovery of Jambi positive patients infected with the virus Zika on January 26, 2016 last.Viruses transmitted by mosquito bites to humans are the same mosquito transmits dengue fever, chikungunya and yellow fever with symptoms that have similar resemblance to the zika virus. Based on similarity of symptoms of infection with dengue virus, can be analyzed using sequence alignment to get identical percentage, local alignment calculation, genetic mutation and the spread of the zika virus to Indonesia. From the whole process, Smith Waterman algorithm can be used to align dengue virus type 1, type 2, type 3, and type 4 with zika virus (Jambi). Mutations between dengue virus and zika virus on average 28% of dissimilarity sequences in the same position between the sequence. Overall, the dengue virus type 1 mutation to the zika virus was 28.2723%, the dengue virus type 2 mutation to the zika virus was 28.1984%, the dengue virus type 3 mutation to the zika virus 27.9373% and the mutation of dengue virus type 4 to the zika virus of 28.7206%. By looking at all mutations, from the simulation results note that the mutations of both viruses include mutation type I. The phylogenetic tree showed the spread of the Zika virus to Indonesia, originally from South Africa, the islands of Chile, Caledonia, the Philippines, Yap Micronesia, Thailand, Cambodia, and finally reached Indonesia. Zika virus jambi suspected of dengue virus mutation because a few years earlier there was a dengue virus outbreaks in a long time in Jambi, it turns out the virus zika jambi is not from mutation dengue virus but the virus comes from the Asian region.

Abstract

The problem of technician assignment in terms of production machine repair is the main focus of this research to help smooth the production process, maintain the availability and performance of the machine where the repair process depends on the efficiency of the technician team. Unexpected machine damage, the level of complexity of machine repair, as well as different competencies and availability of technicians are part of the uncertainty conditions in machine repair. This research focuses on the uncertainty scenario (Sk1, Sk2, Sk3) of technician assignment for production machine repair with a case study involving 3 machines (M1, M2, M3) and 4 technicians (T1, T2, T3, T4). The method used adapts the Hurwicz and Bayes rules (H+B) where this method is designed for one-time decisions and pure strategies with the aim of minimizing the total machine repair time. The results of the application of the optimal solution method found are assignments (T1 - M1) 6.67 hours, (T2 - M2) 8.46 hours, and (T4 - M3) 7.86 hours and resulting in a minimum total repair time of 22.99 hours. Further research could be conducted to extend the model to consider different repair costs and technician capabilities as well as other approaches to uncertainty such as Fuzzy Logic or Stochastic Programming.

Abstract

Diabetes is a global health problem with a continuously increasing prevalence, adversely affecting quality of life and increasing the risk of health complications. This study applies the SIRC mathematical model to describe the temporal dynamics of diabetes, with model parameters calibrated using recent data. System stability is analyzed using the Jacobian method to determine equilibrium points and system behavior. The results indicate a high incidence of disease and complications, while the recovery rate remains relatively low. The basic reproduction number (R₀) of 1.6483 suggests that the disease still has the potential to spread. Furthermore, the equilibrium point E₁ is found to be unstable due to the presence of positive eigenvalues. This study provides important insights into diabetes dynamics that may support effective health management strategies.
