Abstract

Yayasan Berkah Sejahtera Suluh Bangsaku (YBSSB) is an educational institution located in the city of Pekanbaru. Based on the results of questions and answers with YBSSB, the foundation annually assesses employee performance. In the process of employee performance appraisal, the foundation requires performance data from each employee. The results obtained from the employee performance appraisal will be used to determine the employee's promotion. However, the assessment data is still managed manually using paper and is not stored in the same place. So that the foundation has difficulty finding the required data. In addition, the foundation has difficulties in determining which employees will be given a promotion based on the results of employee performance appraisals. Therefore, a system was built that could assist the foundation in managing this data. Meanwhile, to determine employee promotion, the method is used Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). Based on the tests carried out, the preference value obtained using the same data, both manual calculation and system calculation, has the same final result 100%. The system built can assist YBSSB in assessing the performance of its employees and assisting in recommending employees for promotion.

Abstract

Cowin is an investment platform in the cattle breeding sector and has been operating for several years in Pekanbaru. Currently, Cowin wants to increase its business development by expanding its target market by creating a mobile-based investment application. Since its beginning, Cowin has had a website application to make it easier for investors to invest online. However, according to the user specifications before implementing design sprint, the features contained in the website application are considered impractical to use, because they do not have much time to see cattle monitoring routinely through the website. So the purpose of this study is to identify investor's needs and problems when they want to invest in Cowin to build a good mobile-based application. The results of this study is a mobile-based Cowin application that has validated three times consisting of 2 times the task completion rate and 1-time usability testing using a likert scale. Through this research, the mobile applications that have been built is easy to learn and understand, but still need improvements in branding in the future so the investors will be interested in recommending this application to others.

Abstract

Insan Teladan School does not yet have a container containing school information as a promotional medium. So, we need a website school that functions as a forum for providing information so that people can access information more quickly. The purpose of this research is to build a school website with functionality that suits user needs and has an attractive appearance according to the user's wishes. The application of the method User Centered Design (UCD) that focuses on the needs and desires of users is expected to realize the research objectives. The UCD method applied is the use of user personas as the basis for designing mockups and prototypes. All system functionality has been fulfilled by conducting the User Acceptance Test which got 51 test items running well. Based on the 5 second test, it was found that 90% of prospective users had a good experience when using Insan Teladan School website the test Usability Testing resulted in the first highest score on the aspect satisfaction of 90.48% and the second highest score on the aspect learnability of 90, 38% so that it can be concluded that Insan Teladan School website has an attractive appearance and is user friendly.

Abstract

e-Commerce is a trading activity carried out through intermediary web pages on the internet. One of the e-Commerce applications is Business to Business (B2B). Called B2B because of transactions between companies. One company that uses B2B principles is CV Mega Jaya with business processes with simple scale and complexity. In marketing various kinds of fertilizers, CV Mega Jaya only uses brochures that are passed on from certain people to others. Another thing is seen from the ordering side, CV Mega Jaya only uses communication tools or meets in person to order fertilizer. Therefore, e-commerce applications are needed to deal with these problems. In building an E-Commerce application, it takes a method that supports smooth application development called SDLC (System Development Life Cycle). One type of SDLC used is Agile. Agile Methods can accept additional requirements even though they are in the process of being built or completed without going back to the initial stage. Agile used is Feature Driven Development (FDD) which prioritizes features and design and scheduling is directed by features. FDD is suitable for applications that have a B2B case. The result of this research is that the application can be completed on time. This app underwent 1 functional change in features after stage 1. And experienced 1 additional feature (10% of coverage, time and cost). It would be better if FDD is used by more than 1 experienced person (in a team).Keywords: e-Commerce, Business to Business (B2B), CV Mega Jaya, System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Feature Driven Development (FDD))
