Abstract

Flood is a phenomenon of submerging or inundating of an area. Based on the Bogor Regency Regional Regulation No. 4 of 2019 concerning the 2018-2023 Regional Medium-Term Development Plan, there are seven sub-districts in Bogor Regency that have a high level of vulnerability to flood disasters. One of these sub-districts is Gunung Putri District. This sub-district is the worst and most affected by the flood disaster due to the overflow of the Cikeas River and the Cileungsi River that surrounds it during high rainfall intensity for a long time. The purpose of this research is to arrange zoning based on the level of vulnerability to flood disasters. The method used is overlay and scoring techniques. The level of vulnerability is determined based on the river buffer, elevation, slope, and land use. The results showed a zoning map of the level of flood vulnerability in Gunung Putri District. The zone with a high level of flood vulnerability is 3864.83 Ha, the moderate zone is 1662.87 Ha, and the low is 561.68 Ha from the area of Gunung Putri District.

Abstract

The villages of Sukapura, Cisalak, and Jayapura in Cidaun Subdistrict, Cianjur Regency, West Java are three of the 584 villages on the south coast of Java which are very prone to tsunamis with a high hazard class. In the 2011-2031 Cianjur Regency Spatial Plan, the area designated as the site and route for tsunami evacuation is very far from the villages of Sukapura, Cisalak and Jayapura. The purpose of this study was to identify the site and route of tsunami evacuation in the three village areas. The method used in this research is tsunami run-up modeling with a model builder to measure the tsunami inundation area. Determination of tsunami evacuation sites uses overlay analysis, while determining tsunami evacuation routes uses network analysis. The results of this study, there are 17 tsunami evacuation sites and 5 tsunami evacuation routes to the nearest evacuation location in each village area. The research is expected to provide an overview for the local community and advice for the government in order to increase awareness and mitigate tsunami disasters.

Abstract

Globalization causes multinational entrepreneurs to move their business locations across geographical boundaries. The Multinational Entrepreneurs running businesses across geographic boundaries are called Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). One factor that determines the success of FDI is the accurate choice of investment location. Currently, Climate Change plays a significant role in business decisions. Aim: This study aimed to assess the selection of investment locations using the demand-side analysis and environmental policies approach. Methodology and results: The sample was the Electronic and Automotive industry located in the JABABEKA Industrial Estate, Jakarta, Indonesia. The primary data were collected from the respondents' perceptions and processed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) method. The SEM-PLS results showed that the path coefficient of the relationship between Environmental Regulations and the Investment Locations Choice was 0.314. Therefore, Environmental Regulation significantly affected Investment Locations Choice. Furthermore, the path coefficient of the relationship between Environmental Litigation and the Investment Locations Choice was 0.113, with a P-value > 0.05. This means that Environmental Litigation insignificantly affects the Investment Locations Choice. Conclusion, significance, and impact: Environmental regulations and litigation affect the location selection by investors. Therefore, urban planners should formulate policies for providing better waste and air pollution treatment facilities in each industrial area to increase the attractiveness of Indonesia as a Host Country.

Abstract

the community. However, there are a few problems along with these advancements, such as the ineffectiveness of modes and networks as well as the inefficiencies of time and cost. Therefore, this paper aims to promote the application of Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) based on typology from existing stations in the Jakarta Metropolitan Region (JMR), Indonesia. It is expected to be able to create a public transport system that is integrated with the needs of the community. It makes easy access to achieve their travel destinations. This paper uses spatial analysis to determine the various TOD typology by involving many variables and indicators. It also creates a spatial model and applies it to transport planning in the JMR. The results obtained are three typologies of TOD namely Regional, Urban and Suburban. All types of TOD scattered in JMR and it has a trend pattern. TOD Regional located in the central core of the JMR, Urban TOD in the center and suburban TOD outside the center. This study is very helpful in guide transportation planning where several stations and railways intersect with future projects such as LRT, MRT, and BRT. It is expected to improve an integrated and sustainable transport planning.

Abstract

Congestion has become part of the characteristics of a particular urban center area due to its routine occurrence, especially at peak times as commonly known as going to office, returning from work, going to school, going to school, weekends and holidays. The occurrence of congestion is as a result of an imbalance in the existing traffic network, namely the buildup of vehicles which causes the traffic density on a certain road network to become high so that the traffic flow becomes stagnant and even stops. The paradigm of big cities in the world in overcoming congestion problems has begun to shift from the old way which is only seen from the provision of network systems to innovative strategies through the application of concepts that prioritize integration between land use and transportation. One of the concepts applied in big cities in the world is Transit Oriented Development (TOD). TOD is a concept that at its inception was a reaction to the phenomenon of urban sprawl in America followed by the high dependence of the population on the use of roads and private vehicles (automobiles). One of the efforts to balance the traffic network so that traffic flow becomes optimal is through the spread of routes in certain areas and the provision of integrated modes of transportation to support community needs based on destination. The DKI Jakarta Government has built various modes of transportation starting from Transjakarta, Commuter Line Trains, Jak Lingko Angkot, City Buses Etc. SMKN 5 Jakarta, Matraman, East Jakarta is one of the many locations that have access to quite a complete mode of transportation, both from Angkot Mikrotrans, Transjakarta Buses, and Commuter Line Trains. This research aims to provide education about Transit oriented development as a solution to overcome the problems of the capital, namely traffic jams and to assist in supporting daily activities.

Abstract

Abstract

The condition of Special Capital Region of Jakarta (DKI Jakarta), as one of the economic centers in Indonesia, has a very high level of population mobility, both from within and from other cities around it. The existence of the Jakarta Mass Rapid Transit (Jakarta MRT) aims to provide guidelines for creating a city environment that is oriented towards humans as users and/or the public interest, with an emphasis on aspects of functional quality, visual quality and environmental quality. With the MRT Senayan, we can implement a good Transit Oriented Development (TOD) area with structured land use selection. This writing aims to identify the potential for functional characteristics in the Senayan MRT TOD area. Senayan MRT region has medium potential according to the major line since it has complete pedestrian amenities, crossovers, and a bicycle track. Senayan MRT station has also become a significant Transit Oriented Development (TOD) region, connecting numerous major areas in Jakarta, including Senayan, Gelora Bung Karno, Blok M, and the central city. Transit Oriented Development zones can help to alleviate some of the city's or area's problems when implemented correctly.

Abstract

Crucial research into Transit Oriented Development (TOD) in the Setiabudi District of South Jakarta highlights its significance as a burgeoning business center. This study examines the TOD framework, which integrates high-density development with transportation systems to foster an efficient urban environment. Emphasizing pedestrian-friendly spaces and diverse land uses, the research employs a literature review method to outline the criteria and principles of TOD, referencing the ITDP TOD Standard 2017. Additionally, the analysis leverages data from other scholarly articles to assess the potential for TOD in Setiabudi, focusing on radius and distance analyses around key transit hubs using Google Maps and Google Earth. Stations such as LRT Dukuh Atas, LRT Setiabudi, and Bendungan Hilir MRT demonstrate high potential for TOD, while MRT Setiabudi Astra and LRT Kuningan Station show moderate potential. Conversely, Rasuna Said LRT Station exhibits low potential for TOD. The implementation of TOD at high-potential stations could yield significant positive impacts, while MRT Setiabudi Astra and LRT Kuningan Stations present opportunities for enhancement. We find that Rasuna Said LRT Station requires further attention to increase its future potential.
