Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Implementation of E-Government on the Financial Transparency of Village Government in Alasa District, North Nias Regency.. This study is quantitative in nature and uses primary data. The population in this study consists of all village officials in the villages of Alasa Subdistrict, with a sample of 71 respondents selected using purposive sampling. The data analysis technique used in this study was descriptive statistics. The researcher tested the quality of the primary data by conducting validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression tests, and hypothesis tests using SPSS 26. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of e-government has a positive and significant effect on the transparency of village administration. The implications of this study indicate that optimizing the implementation of digital systems in village administration can increase public information disclosure and strengthen the transparency of village administration management.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the competence of village government officials, citizen participation, application of information technology, organizational commitment, transparency, and internal control systems on the accountability of village fund management in village government. This study is a quantitative study using primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression. This study was conducted in 11 villages in Dayun District, Siak Regency, Riau Province, Indonesia.  Each village was represented by 4 respondents consisting of the village head, village secretary, financial officer, and 1 member of the Village Consultative Agency (BPD). The research was conducted from April to May 2022. The results show that the competence of village officials, citizen participation, the application of information technology, and internal control systems have an effect on the accountability of village fund management, but organizational commitment and transparency have no effect on the accountability of village fund management. Adequate competence of village officials, high citizen participation, application of good information technology, and application of an appropriate internal control system can increase the accountability of village fund management during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) are one of the key instruments of village economic empowerment that require transparent and accountable financial management. However, most BUMDes managers lack adequate understanding of financial statement preparation based on the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM). This community service activity aims to enhance the capacity of BUMDes managers in preparing SAK EMKM-based financial statements to support sustainable financial governance. The methods used were direct mentoring and participatory training involving 25 BUMDes managers in Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. The activities were carried out in three stages: (1) socialization and problem identification, (2) financial statement preparation workshop, and (3) independent mentoring. The results showed a significant increase in participants’ understanding, with the average pre-test score of 42.6 rising to 79.3 in the post-test. A total of 88% of participants successfully prepared simple financial statements in accordance with SAK EMKM standards. This activity contributes to improving the accountability and transparency of BUMDes management as the foundation for sustainable governance.

Abstract

This research discusses the competence of Village government, Internal Control System and Financial Accessibility towards village fund management accountability, this research is very useful for monitoring the accountability of Village Fund management in Namorambe District. This research is an explanatory research with a research design of 36 villages with a sample of 93 people who found village government officials. The information used is primary in nature and analyzed using the SPSS type 23 statistical test. This type of research is quantitative. The results of this research show that the Village Government Competence has a positive and significant impact on Village Fund Management Accountability, On the other hand, the Internal Control System and Financial Report Accessibility have a negative and significant impact on Village Fund Management Accountability. On the other hand, the Village Government Competence, Internal Control System, and Financial Report Accessibility simultaneously affect and significantly affect Village Fund Management Accountability. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of media exposure, profitability, and green accounting on corporate social responsibility disclosure partially and simultaneously. The sample selection criteria used were purposive sampling with a population of 38 companies, resulting in 12 samples. In this study, the dependent variable used was Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure, while the independent variables were Media Exposure, Profitability, and Green Accounting. The data analysis method used was multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 26. The results showed that partial media exposure had a negative and significant effect on corporate social responsibility disclosure, profitability had a positive but insignificant effect on corporate social responsibility disclosure, and green accounting had a negative and insignificant effect on corporate social responsibility disclosure. Simultaneously, media exposure, profitability, and green accounting had a significant effect on corporate social responsibility disclosure listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The coefficient of determination test (adjusted R squared) for this regression model shows a value of 0.203, or 20.3%. This indicates that the variables Media Exposure, Profitability, and Green Accounting only explain 20.3% of the Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure variable, while the remaining 79.7% is influenced by other variables not included in this study's regression model.
