Abstract

Nowadays, the use of fuel as the primer source of energy has been carriedout using petroleum classified as non-renewable fossil. The product needed hassignificantly increased along with its uses in industry and transportation lastly spurringthe necessity of a new alternative source of energy. This research was aimed to obtain bestoperating condition to product biodiesel via transesterification process of jatropha seedusing 3% wt. of KOH as catalyst. Condition process of producing biodiesel were at 30, 40,50, 60 and 70C of process temperatures, 200, 300 and 400 rpm of agitation speeds, and1:12, 1:14, and 1:16 of mole ratios between jatropha seed and methanol. The result of thisresearch showed that the higher ratio between Jatropha curcas and methanol the higherbiodiesel obtained. While for the operating condition, the faster agitation speed alsoinfluenced in the more amount of biodiesel yield. Best operating temperature obtained wasat 60C. The analysis of the product including density, viscosity, acid number and flashpoint were 846 kg/m3, 5 cSt, 0,67 mg KOH/gr and 35C, respectively.

Abstract

Early marriage in Indonesia, especially in rural areas, is a serious issue that negatively affects the health and education of the younger generation. The government's free education program aims to create a golden generation, but the high rate of early marriage hinders the achievement of this goal. This study identifies factors that influence early marriage, such as knowledge, education level and family economic conditions. Through socialization activities at Darul Hamidin Junior High School in Padamara, East Lombok, the author sought to increase students' understanding of the dangers of early marriage. Lecture and discussion methods were used to deliver material related to the negative impact of early marriage, with the aim of raising awareness and motivating adolescents to stay away from the practice. The results of the socialization showed an increase in students' understanding after the activity. This research emphasizes the need for collaborative efforts from various elements of society to reduce the number of early marriages and support a more qualified generation to achieve national education goals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis performa pompa sentrifugal serta meninjau kerugian tekanan mayor dan minor pada variasi sistem perpipaan. Pompa sentrifugal merupakan perangkat vital yang efisiensinya sangat dipengaruhi oleh kondisi perpipaan, termasuk kerugian tekanan akibat gesekan fluida (kerugian mayor) dan gangguan aliran pada fitting (kerugian minor). Tujuan studi ini adalah menganalisis performa pompa sentrifugal dengan mempertimbangkan kerugian tekanan tersebut, serta menentukan hubungan konfigurasi perpipaan dengan efisiensi pompa dan head total sistem. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui uji coba alat di Bengkel Laboratorium Mekanik. Pengujian meliputi uji kebocoran, sistem instrumentasi, dan uji performa manual dengan variasi flow rate serta pressure. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa bukaan control valve mempengaruhi flow rate dan tekanan. Perhitungan menunjukkan total head loss suction 0,015 m dan total head loss discharge 4,582 m, menghasilkan head total sistem 33,499 m dengan NPSHa 29,584 m. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan acuan teknis desain perpipaan yang lebih efisien dan meningkatkan pemahaman kinerja pompa.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the religious values ​​contained in the novel "99 Lights in the Sky Europe" by Hanum Salsabiela rais and Rangga Almahendra. The researchers cite data in the form of words, sentences, paragraphs, and dialogues in the novel, which contains various religious values ​​between humans and their God, religious values ​​between humans and other humans, religious values ​​between humans and themselves, and the relationship between religion and science. The method used in this study uses a qualitative approach with the type of library research, namely by analyzing the data in the form of paragraph sentences or dialogues containing religious values. The researchers hope this novel is helpful for all of us and can be used as a source of inspiration for the nation's young generation to reach a goal without forgetting religious values.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Project- Based Learning terintegrasi STEAM terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram. Rancanggan penelitian ini menggunakan non-equivalent kontrol   group design dengan jenis ekperimen semu. Sampel dalam penelitian berjumalah dua kelas dengan jumlah mahasiswa 79 mahasiswa. Sampel diberikan instrument tes pretest dan posttest dalam bentuk soal uraian. Hasil tes yang terkumpul dilakukan uji hipotesis menggunakan independent t test berbantuan software SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai thitung > ttabel (6,331>2,000). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat pengaruh postif dan signifkan model pembelajaran Project- Based Learning terintegrasi STEAM terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah mahasiswa.

Abstract

The focus of this article is to identify PBL-based mathematics learning innovations and PBL-based mathematics learning outcomes. The method used is qualitative and the type is a case study. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, observation, and documentation and data analysis was carried out in three activity streams that occurred simultaneously in the data collection process, namely: data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. The research results stated that the stages of PBL-based mathematics learning consisted of three main steps, namely the teacher providing an explanation of the material first before presenting the problem, the teacher giving work papers, and students being directed to complete the work papers in groups. This PBL model indicates that teachers have good managerial skills in the learning process. The results of mathematics learning using the PBL method indicate the delivery of material during the learning process, and students' social skills during learning. The PBL method has an important meaning in seeing the success of learning and education. Both specifically in mathematics and all other subjects. Considering learning outcomes can be used to prepare learning evaluations.

Abstract

Solar energy is a sustainable and widely available resource with minimal environmental impact and low maintenance requirements. Ensuring the structural integrity of photovoltaic (PV) module supports is crucial for safe and efficient operation. This study utilizes FreeCAD, an open-source software with finite element analysis (FEA) capabilities, to evaluate the deformation and stress distribution in a solar-powered charging station structure. Two thickness variations (3 mm and 1.5 mm) of hollow carbon steel supports were analyzed under identical loading conditions. Results indicate that reducing the thickness from 3 mm to 1.5 mm increased deformation by 69.81% (from 0.53 mm to 0.9 mm) and stress by 96.93%, both remaining within acceptable structural tolerance limits. These findings validate FreeCAD as a cost-effective alternative to commercial FEA software, leveraging open-source libraries like Python, Calculix, and Open Cascade Technology (OCCT) to perform complex simulations without expensive licenses or high-end hardware.

Abstract

Budidaya udang merupakan salah satu sektor perikanan yang berperan penting dalam ketahanan pangan dan ekonomi pesisir. Namun, sistem aerasi yang umum digunakan masih bergantung pada energi listrik dan bahan bakar fosil, sehingga menimbulkan biaya operasional tinggi dan emisi karbon. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menganalisis kinerja turbin angin vertikal sebagai penggerak kompresor aerasi tambak udang, guna mendukung penerapan energi berkelanjutan. Proses penelitian meliputi tahap perancangan sistem, perakitan, serta pengujian performa turbin pada variasi kecepatan angin antara 2,2–4,3 m/s. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa untuk daya desain 4000 W dengan kecepatan angin maksimum 4,3 m/s, diperoleh luas sudu sebesar 81,8 m² dan diameter rotor 1 m. Pengujian menunjukkan peningkatan daya aktual turbin dari 535,7 Watt hingga 4000 Watt seiring dengan kenaikan kecepatan angin, dengan nilai Tip Speed Ratio (TSR) stabil pada kisaran 0,333–0,341. Sistem mampu menghasilkan suplai oksigen sebesar 0,002–0,005 m³/s dengan waktu pemenuhan kebutuhan oksigen di kolam (900 kg) berkisar antara 37–75 jam, bergantung pada kondisi kecepatan angin. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa turbin angin vertikal berpotensi besar menggantikan sistem aerasi berbasis listrik, sehingga dapat menurunkan konsumsi energi fosil dan mendukung efisiensi serta keberlanjutan tambak udang.
