Abstract

Makalah ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep pedagogik literasi kritis, mulai dari sejarah, pemikiran para filsuf, dan perkembangannya di dunia pendidikan dewasa ini. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih jarangnya pembahasan literasi sebagai kekuatan pengubah struktur sosial, pendidikan literasi kritis dapat membantu siswa untuk menandai dan mengurai beragam teks yang merepresentasikan marjinalisasi sosial, penyalahgunaan kekuasaan, ketidakadilan, penindasan, isu ras, isu gender, dan beragam kesenjangan sosial lainnya. Pendidikan literasi kritis akan membantu siswa menjadi agensi untuk mengubah realitas sosial yang kurang memihak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis konsep dengan desain analisis generik (McMillan Schumacher, 2001) atau integrative review (Whittemore and Knafl 2005).  Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sejarah literasi kritis dimulai dari pemikiran Paulo Freire, seorang pedagog dari Brazil yang banyak membawa perubahan di dunia pendidikan melalui pemikirannya tentang konsep literasi sebagai aktivitas membaca kata dan dunia, literasi kritis juga dianggap sebagai kekuatan sosial (Gramsci), perjuangan emansipasi wanita (Ajayi), Agensi dan pemecahan masalah sosial (Hendriani dkk). Penelitian ini memiliki signifikansi untuk memperkaya khazanah pedagogik pada umumnya, khususnya pedagogik kritis pada lingkup pendidikan literasi. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah untuk pengembangan pendidikan berbasis literasi kritis pada jenjang pendidikan dasar sampai pendidikan tinggi. This paper aims to analyze the concept of critical literacy pedagogy, from history, philosophers' thinking, and its development in the world of education today. This research is motivated by the rarely discussed literacy as a power to change social structure, critical literacy education can help students to mark and parse various texts representing social marginalization, abuse of power, injustice, oppression, racial issues, gender issues, and various other social inequalities. Critical literacy education will help students become an agency to change the impartiality of social reality. The research method used is concept analysis with generic analysis design (McMillan Schumacher, 2001) or integrative review (Whittemore and Knafl 2005). The results of the research indicate that the history of critical literacy begins with the thought of Paulo Freire, a Brazilian pedagogue who brought much change in the world of education through his thoughts on the concept of literacy as the activity of reading the word and the world, critical literacy also regarded as social forces (Gramsci), the struggle for emancipation women (Ajayi), Agency and social problem solving (Hendriani et al). This study has significance to enrich the pedagogic treasures in general, especially critical pedagogy on the scope of literacy education. The implications of this research are for the development of critical literacy-based education at the elementary to higher education level.

Abstract

Abstract: The use of AR technology in Elementary School learning is still lacking in terms of understanding and implementation. A systematic literature review is needed on the implementation of AR technology at the Elementary School. This study used bibliometric analysis method with applications Publish or Perish and VOSviewer. The use of AR technology has been implemented in Elementary Schools in several subjects including: Mathematics, Sciences, and English. The implementation of augmented reality in Elementary Schools has obstacle, it's unfamiliarity of using its technology. Hope in the future the implementation of AR in elementary schools will develop better and evenly distributed. Abstrak: Pemanfaatan teknologi AR dalam pembelajaran Sekolah Dasar masih kurang dari segi pemahaman dan implementasinya. Diperlukan kajian literatur yang sistematis mengenai penerapan teknologi AR di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis bibliometrik dengan aplikasi Publish or Perish dan VOSviewer. Pemanfaatan teknologi AR telah diterapkan di Sekolah Dasar pada beberapa mata pelajaran antara lain: Matematika, IPA, dan Bahasa Inggris. Penerapan augmented reality di Sekolah Dasar mempunyai kendala yaitu belum terbiasa menggunakan teknologinya. Harapan kedepannya penerapan AR di sekolah dasar akan berkembang lebih baik dan merata

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of students' knowledge of the cultures that exist in Indonesia, learning that is less than optimal and the lack of learning resources used. This study aims to solve these problems by developing teaching materials for cultural literacy and citizenship activities for elementary school students. This research method uses the Design and Development (DD) research method with the PPE model which includes planning, production and evaluation. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire for validation of experts including material experts, media experts and learning experts (teachers). Validation was carried out in two stages with the results of the average percentage of expert validation, namely 96% in the very good category. From these results, the diary teaching material "Exploring My Country Indonesia" is suitable for use as a cultural literacy and civic activity.

Abstract

Globalization has become one of the causes of the moral crisis among elementary school students because the information that can be accessed digitally is increasingly widespread. Therefore, it is essential to strengthen the character of elementary school students so that they do not fall into negative things. One effort that can be made is character education based on Pancasila. Through character education, students are expected to become Pancasila students, which are the students who can apply Pancasila values in their daily lives. Therefore, this research aims to determine the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) and its influence on student character. This research uses the Bibliometric analysis method and the SPAR-4-SLR procedure. They are using the Publish or Perish database and Google Scholar. Based on the 20 selected articles regarding P5, its successful implementation can develop students' positive character, such as increasing cooperation and responsibility. The obstacles experienced are inadequate facilities and infrastructure, teacher direction, and lack of funding. Efforts that can be made include providing facilities and infrastructure and cooperation between school principals, teachers, and parents. An effective strategy for implementing P5 is to optimize the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. The benefits of implementing P5 include that character development activities focus more on determining dimensions and assessment rubrics. Recommendations are directed to future researchers to conduct research related to the implementation of P5 in connection with other elements, such as house training for teachers to understand the concept of P5.

Abstract

This article discusses human resource management (HRM) in education in the Era of Society 5.0 and the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesia. The Era Society 5.0, which integrates advanced technology with social life, demands adaptive, innovative, and tech-savvy education human resources. Meanwhile, the Merdeka Curriculum gives more freedom to schools and teachers to design learning that suits students' needs. This article analyses how HR management should be adjusted to support these two major changes, including strategies for developing teacher competencies, the use of technology in education management, as well as education quality assurance focusing on 21st century skills. The data sources come from scientific articles, books and other relevant documents. The results show that effective HR management can be the key to improving the quality of education and the readiness of students to face global challenges in the Society 5.0 Era

Abstract

The background of this study is the increasingly massive water privatization project carried out by foreign companies, which triggers the injustice related to water acquisition rights experienced by Indonesians. The aim of this research is to sue water privatization through education based on critical literacy in elementary schools. The students needed to confront problematic texts, which were then critically analyzed to produce new arguments to promote justice, solutions, and hope. The research method used is a case study that aims to have an in-depth understanding of the results of elementary school students' analyses of the water privatization practice. The results of this study conclude that water privatization can be sued in various ways, one of which is by providing critical literacy-based education and socialization aimed at uncovering the facts of injustice from the practice. Through education based on critical literacy, elementary school students are able to parse problems by identifying causality in the text, promoting hopes for justice, and producing argumentative texts that are rival and solutions to water privatization

Abstract

Implementing the "Kurikulum Merdeka" emphasizes the importance of student-centered learning, meaning that teachers must understand student characteristics, including their developmental task profiles. Teachers can use Windows-based applications called ITP and ATP to achieve this understanding. These applications help teachers gain insights into student development, especially in elementary schools, as a way to apply the principles of Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) in learning. This activity aims to enhance elementary school teachers' abilities to use the ITP and ATP applications to understand students as an initial implementation of DAP. The methods include online sessions to strengthen teachers' understanding of the philosophy of student-centered learning, DAP concepts, elementary student development characteristics, and the introduction and installation of the ATP application. Teachers then simulate data collection and processing with the application, followed by in-person meetings for discussion and reinforcement. Twenty-six elementary school teachers from Sukabumi Regency participated in this activity, which took place from June 15 to July 3, 2024. The results show an increased understanding of the philosophy of student-centered learning, DAP concepts, and the use of applications to comprehend student characteristics. The conclusion is that mastering these applications and underlying concepts can enhance elementary school teachers' competencies in applying DAP principles for student-centered learning.

Abstract

Background: Kurikulum Merdeka menekankan pentingnya pembelajaran yang berpihak kepada peserta didik, di mana setiap siswa memiliki kesempatan belajar sesuai dengan kebutuhan, minat, dan potensi masing-masing. Sejalan dengan hal ini, pendampingan penyusunan modul ajar berbasis pembelajaran berdiferensiasi menjadi langkah strategis untuk mendukung pengembangan kualitas pembelajaran. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu para guru dalam merancang modul ajar yang mengakomodasi variasi karakteristik peserta didik melalui penerapan prinsip pembelajaran terdiferensiasi. Metode: Kegiatan PkM ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk workshop dan pendampingan. Hasil: Berdasarkan kuisionar, bahwa tingat kejelasan materi yang disampaikan berada pada kategori sangat jelas dan tingkat kesesuaian materi dengan kebutuhan berada pada kategori sangat sesuai. Selain itu, tingkat pemahaman guru mengenai materi asesmen diagnostik dan pembelajaran terdiferensiasi sangat baik. Hasil lain dari PkM ini adalah guru mampu menyusun modul ajar berbasis pembelajaran berdiferensiasi yang lebih inklusif dan adaptif terhadap berbagai karakteristik siswa. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan workshop dan pendampingan ini sesuai dengan kebutuhan guru dan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam menyusun modul ajar berbasis pembelajaran berdiferensiasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih banyaknya peserta didik fase A yang belum memahami konsep materi nilai-nilai Pancasila khususnya di lingkungan keluarga. Permasalahan ini terjadi karena pembelajaran masih dilaksanakan secara teacher centered tanpa adanya bahan ajar yang dibuat secara khusus sesuai dengan kebutuhan materi dan materi pembelajaran yang belum dihubungkan dengan kehidupan nyata peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas bahan ajar berbasis pendekatan CTL dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep materi nilai-nilai Pancasila peserta didik fase A Sekolah Dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pre-experimental design tipe One Group Pretest-Posttest. Sampel penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas II yang berjumlah dua puluh lima peserta didik. Hasil yang diperoleh berdasarkan perhitungan nilai sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Sehingga, H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dapat diartikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rerata antara hasil pretest dan posttest uji pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Hasil uji N-Gain sebesar 0,786 menunjukkan kategori tingkat efektivitas yang tinggi. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis CTL terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep materi nilai-nilai Pancasila peserta didik fase A Sekolah Dasar.
