Abstract

Kurikulum bukan hanya digunakan sebagai alat dalam menambah pengetahuan, tetapi juga untuk mewujudkan proses pembelajaran yang sebaik-baiknya guna mencapai tujuan pendidikan nasional. Kurikulum yang saat ini diterapkan di Indonesia yaitu Kurikulum Merdeka. Kurikulum Merdeka memberikan konsep mandiri belajar. Kurikulum Merdeka terdapat penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P3) hal tersebut telah termuat dalam 6 dimensi yakni berkebhinekaan global, bergotong royong, kreatif, bernalar kritis, mandiri, dan beriman dengan berlandaskan Pancasila. Subjek penelitian peserta didik kelas 1 SDI Al Barokah beserta wali murid dan wali kelasnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang menjadi problematika adalah minimnya kemandirian peserta didik dalam hal apapun utamanya kemandirian dalam menerapkan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS). Hal ini dikarenakan lingkungan yang kurang mendukung dalam segi pendidikan karakter kemandirian. Akan tetapi lembaga pendidikan terkait telah menyusun usaha dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter melalui Modul Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) mengenai pengelolaan sampah sebagai upaya PHBS dengan kolaborasi antar pendidik, wali murid dan masyarakat sekitar. Modul P5 ini dilaksanakan pada tahun ajaran baru 2023-2024. Pelaksanaan penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan cara menjelaskan dinamika yang perlu dianalisis saat penelitian. Kata-kata Kunci: Karakter, Kemandirian, Modul P5, Pendidikan Karakter, Profil Pelajar Pancasila.

Abstract

Perkembangan era revolusi industri 4.0 menuntut perubahan dan perkembangan teknologi. Era industri 4.0 juga menuntut perkembangan di lingkungan pendidikan. Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) dengan kualifikasi yang mumpuni menjadi prasyarat revolusi industri 4.0 di bidang pendidikan dan keterampilan abad 21. Beberapa keterampilan abad 21 disebut sebagai The4C’s (Critical thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, and Communication). Creativity atau kreatifitas menjadi keterampilan yang dipersyaratkan dalam pembelajaran di abad 21 ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas integrasi pendekatan STEAM-Project Based Learning (STEAM-PjBL) untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas V SDN 2 Sukabumi 2 Probolinggo yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik non tes. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kreativitas siswa pada pembelajaran tematik menggunakan integrasi pendekatan STEAM-Project Based Learning (STEAM-PjBL) yaitu sejumlah 7 siswa (28,16% dari seluruh siswa). Setelah diberikan tindakan pada siklus I, jumlah siswa yang memiliki kreativitas tinggi meningkat menjadi 10 siswa (48,43 % dari seluruh siswa). Pada siklus II jumlah siswa yang memiliki kreativitas tinggi meningkat menjadi 19 siswa (81,05% dari seluruh siswa).

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of Mathematics of class IV C students at SDN Sukabumi 2 Kota Probolinggo, especially in understanding the concept of multiplication. Difficulty in memorizing multiplication causes low motivation and student participation. This study aims to improve learning outcomes through educational game media Wordwall with the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) in two cycles with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of the study consisted of 23 students. The results showed that in the pre-cycle with a class average of only 60.17%. After the implementation of the Wordwall TGT model, the completion rate increased to 72.82% in cycle I, although it was still below the target of 80%, due to lack of student discipline. In cycle II, the completion rate reached 83.56%, with increased student involvement and discipline in participating in learning. Thus, the implementation of Wordwall with TGT has proven effective in improving the learning outcomes of class IV C students at SDN Sukabumi 2 Kota Probolinggo.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low mastery and understanding of catalog books by new students. Supported by the difficulties experienced by new students in following academic tutorials and administrative services. The research objective is to analyze administrative/academic services. This type of research is qualitative research. The methods used to collect data are interviews, observation, documents and questionnaires. The subjects of this research were all students at one university. The instrument used in data collection was a questionnaire sheet. The data analysis technique uses descriptive statistical analysis of the results of questionnaire collection. The results of the research show that New Student Study Orientation activities provide smooth implementation of mastery tutorials and understanding of catalog books which can increase learning motivation. Having a catalog book can make it easier for students to receive information and the ins and outs of the University. With this research, it is necessary to carry out a more structured and focused approach in learning orientation for new students in order to strengthen and improve their independent learning character.

Abstract

This study was conducted to identify problems in learning at SD Negeri Kedungdalem 3 Probolinggo, especially class V. The results of the study showed that the low interest in reading students and less interactive learning methods make students quickly bored, difficult to concentrate in understanding the material and easily lose focus or motivation to learn. Therefore, innovation of teaching materials is needed that are more interesting, interactive, and easy to understand so that learning becomes more effective so that it can increase student learning motivation. This study aims to develop flipbook-based teaching materials on the concept of Magnets, electricity and technology for life and analyze their validity and effectiveness in science learning. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collected through questionnaires from validators, namely material experts, media experts, class teachers, and student responses. After going through the validation and revision process based on input from experts and users, the product has been declared feasible to be implemented. The results of the study showed that flipbook-based teaching materials were proven effective with a score of 86% from material experts, 93% from media experts, 90% from users/homeroom teachers, and 90% from student responses, indicating that the product was very feasible to use in the learning process. This study can be further developed with a wider scope of material and variations of other learning media to further increase student motivation and involvement in learning.

Abstract

Low learning outcomes in the cognitive domain of students are still one of the problems that are often found in every school. One of them is the elementary school that the researcher made the research site. It was found that there are factors that cause low student scores, namely the lack of teachers in using learning media during the teaching and learning process. The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes on the concept of “Properties of Light” Class V at SDN Brumbungan Lor, Probolinggo Regency by using learning media, namely Sica Box media. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method. This research has II cycles and there are four phases of activity in one cycle. The findings of this research show an increase in the learning achievements of students. Referring to the initial test results, the number of students who have not reached mastery is 10 (52.63%) and those who reach mastery are 9 (47.36%).In the first cycle, 13 students (68.42%) were recorded as complete. Then, in the second cycle there were 18 students (94.73%) who were complete, and 1 student (5.26%) was not complete. Therefore, based on these outcomes, it can be concluded that the Sica Box media can boost the learning achievement of fifth grade students at SD Negeri Brumbungan Lor.

Abstract

This study is oriented towards improving the in-depth reasoning skills of fifth grade students of SD Negeri Brumbungan Lor in the learning process of magnet concept. The main issue encountered is the lack of active involvement of students in teaching and learning activities. Students tend to be passive, only receiving information without processing or criticizing it, even reluctant to answer questions from the teacher. This is exacerbated by the use of boring learning methods and patterns that are not very appealing. To overcome these problems, a Classroom Action Research (PTK) approach is used which consists of four stages, namely planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The learning model applied was Project Based Learning (PjBL), which encourages students to be more active, creative, and directly involved in the learning process. The results showed a significant increase in students' critical thinking skills. Based on the observation sheet, critical thinking skills increased from 39.34 in round 1 session 1, changed to 50 in session 2, and again rose to 70.26 to reach 80.52 in round 2.The increase was also seen in learning outcomes, with an average initial test score of 62.10 (47.36%), increased to 68.15 (68.42%) in round 1, and transformed to 81.05 (94.73%) in round 2.Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Project Based Learning model proved effective in improving critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The reality in the field shows that science teachers still use the Teacher Centered Learning (TCL) model. Teachers still dominate the learning process so that some students still look passive and are less brave in expressing ideas. The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes on the concept of energy sources around us in class III of Asembakor I Elementary School using the PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning model. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, there are 4 stages of activities in one round (cycle), namely planning, implementation stage, observation stage, and reflection stage. This study has 2 cycles. The third grade students of Asembakor I Elementary School who were the subjects of this study numbered 7 people. The results of this study showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes. Based on the pre-test results, the number of students who did not complete was 6 students (85.71%) and those who completed were 1 student (14.28%). In cycle I there was an increase, namely there were 2 students who completed (28.57%) while those who had not completed were 5 students (71.42%). Then, in cycle II there was an increase, namely there were 6 students who completed (85.71%) while those who had not completed were 1 student (14.28%). Based on these results, it shows that the PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning model can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The low student learning outcomes are caused by students who are less active and have no interest in learning, as evidenced by the fact that some students are still busy playing with their friends, going around the class and the lack of use of learning media used by the teacher during KBM. Good concept understanding is essential for students. This is because the essence of learning material is to understand the meaning behind each process. Therefore, there needs to be a solution to activate students and improve student learning outcomes with the help of learning media. So the researcher took the initiative to apply smart box media in IPAS subjects which aims to determine the improvement of learning outcomes of grade VI students on the concept of the solar system. The research method implemented is Classroom Action Research by conducting 2 cycles including 4 meetings and each cycle has four steps: (planning, implementation, observation, and reflection). Data collected includes interview, observation, test and documentation techniques. The subjects of this study were 15 students. This study shows that there is an increase in student learning outcomes from before and after the class research action from Cycle I to Cycle II by applying smart box media. Pre-cycle data from a total of 15 students, there were 7 students who showed learning completeness showing the average student score was 58.6 and the percentage of completeness was only 46.6%. The first cycle produced an average score of 68 and the percentage of completeness was 66.6%. Whereas in the second cycle the number of students who successfully achieved learning completeness was 14 students and only 1 student remained who was still not complete. The average student score obtained increased to 84.6 and the percentage of completeness to 93%.
