Abstract

The objective of this study is to investigate how free shipping deals and Shopee adverts impact the buying choices of students studying at Panca Marga University's Faculty of Economics in Probolinggo. Specifically, it explores both the combined and individual effects of these promotional strategies. A quantitative, descriptive approach was adopted, with data gathered via questionnaires distributed to a randomly selected sample of students. The study employed various analytical tools, including validity and reliability tests, alongside classical assumption tests such as multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, autocorrelation, and hypothesis testing. Results from the validity test confirmed all questionnaire items were valid (r > 0.197), while the reliability test yielded consistent outcomes (Cronbach’s alpha > 0.60). The data was normally distributed as per the normality test. Multicollinearity analysis showed no significant correlation among independent variables, indicating a robust regression model. Additionally, tests for heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation confirmed the absence of both issues. Hypothesis testing using the t-test revealed that the free shipping promotion significantly influenced purchasing behavior (t = 4.09 > t-table = 1.985, sig. = 0.048 ≤ 0.05). Likewise, Shopee advertisements demonstrated a notable effect on purchasing decisions (t = 2.407 > t-table = 1.985, sig. = 0.000 ≤ 0.05). Overall, the findings suggest that both free shipping offers and Shopee advertising play a significant role in shaping consumer choices among university students.

Abstract

Ekosistem hutan mangrove merupakan habitat penting bagi organisme kelautan dan sebagai penjaga pantai dari abrasi. Salah satu daerah yang mempunyai hutan mangrove dan cukup rentan dengan terjadinya abrasi adalah Desa Pabean - Dringu di Kabupaten Probolinggo. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masayarakat tentang pentingnya mangrove dalam mencegah terjadi abrasi, khusunya di Desa Pabean - Dringu. Kegiatan ini melibatkan warga Desa. Secara umum, kegiatan ini berjalan dengan lancar dan diikuti dengan antusias yang cukup tinggi oleh seluruh peserta. Metode dilakukan dengan cara penyuluhan dan penanaman.Diharapkan dengan adanya kegiatan ini, masyarakat Pabean Kecamatan Dringu dapat memahami dan mengambil manfaat besar yang dimiliki oleh mangrove serta mencegah Desa Pabean - Dringu dari abrasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi, kompensasi, dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop IX Jember Stasiun Probolinggo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan variabel bebas yaitu motivasi, kompensasi, kepuasan kerja dan variabel terikat yaitu kinerja pegawai. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop IX Jember Stasiun Probolinggo. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Non Probability Sampling dengan sampling jenuh sebanyak 41 orang. Tahapan analisis data diawali dengan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linear berganda, uji koefisien determinasi, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan SPSS Versi 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel motivasi, kompensasi, dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap kinerja pegawai.

Abstract

Empowering aims to increase people's income through agribusiness, mushroom cultivation and improve skills for the community, especially students at the Pondok Pesantran Al Barokah Mojolegi Wangkal Kraksaan Probolinggo which brings many benefits in the form of: (1) Mastery of free time with useful business. (2) Utilization of residual land for useful business activities, (3) Expansion of diversification in the field of farming, (4) Increased knowledge, skills, and insights in the field of cultivation, especially oyster mushroom agribusiness, (5) Improved management skills, especially in marketing field. This community service activity for oyster mushroom cultivation was carried out at the Pondok Pesantren Al Barokah Mojolegi, Wangkal, Probolinggo Regency. The results obtained are that the students have high enthusiasm to take part in counseling activities and foster oyster mushroom cultivation, as an effort to get a source of income outside of their parents' gifts. And also for the management of the Pondok Pesantran Al Barolah Mojolegi Wangkal, Probolinggo Regency, providing opportunities for resource persons to socialize community service programs to their students to start quite a lot of activities, so the students need support from both the cottage manager and intensive guidance from resource persons. for this activity to be successful.

Abstract

Kelor is a plant that can grow quickly, live long, flower all year round, withstand extreme heat conditionsThis plant comes from the tropics and subtropics of South Asia. This plant is commonly used as food and medicine in Indonesia Community Service Activities carried out from January 7, 2022 to January 9, 2022 at 08.00 to 11.00 WIB at Siti Fatimah's mother's house, Ketapang Village, Kademangan District, Probolinggo City concerning Making Noodles with Moringa Oleifera Mixture of Leaf Powder (Moringa Oleifera) participants in this activity are housewives who want to be entrepreneurial. The results obtained from this activity are to increase the creativity of Moringa leaf processing so that it can be used as a mixture of noodles that can be consumed alone and can also be processed into other meanings whose basic ingredients are noodles, so that it can increase family income and have high nutritional value. The result obtained from this service activity is that the participants' skills in this activity increase their knowledge and skills. The knowledge and skills of trainees increased by more than 75% of the total participants. The more difficult the manufacturing process, the lower the percentage of trainee skills.
