Abstract

Background: Environmental problems are becoming a global concern, so appropriate solutions are needed to handle them, especially in waste management. The waste bank program can be an alternative solution for managing household waste. Purpose: This research aims to (1) examine how waste management activities are implemented by the Surakarta Waste Bank/BSI and (2) explain whether the Surakarta Waste Bank/BSI contributes to sustainable development.Design/methodology/approach: This study employed a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data was gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation. Findings/Result: The research results show that (1) The Surakarta Waste Bank/BSI applies the concept of reduce, reuse, recycle (3R), which is in line with circular economy principles and has created a canvas business model that combines social and environmental missions with business principles described in the business model canvas of sociopreneurship in waste management activities. (2) The sociopreneurship carried out by the Surakarta Waste Bank/BSI has brought about social changes in terms of behavior where people have become more responsible in managing waste while at the same time contributing to sustainable development in economic, social and environmental aspects. From an economic aspect, BSI can increase the income and welfare of people involved in waste management, whether as customers, managers, or producers. Social aspect: BSI can increase public awareness and participation in responsible waste management. Environmental aspect: BSI can reduce the volume of waste disposed of in final disposal sites (TPA), reduce the negative impact of waste on the environment, and increase the positive benefits of waste as a resource that can be reused. Conclusion: Waste management activities by BSI contribute to sustainable development across economic, social, and environmental dimensions. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide information as a basis for consideration, support, and contribution of thought to environmental activists and sociopreneurship to implement sustainable business and social missions, as well as provide recommendations for solutions to decision-makers in their efforts to execute sustainable development missions by increasing the economic independence of community and environmental improvement.Originality/value (State of the art): This is the first study to explore the waste bank programs that promote the circular economy principle using a sociopreneurship model and its related possibilities for sustainable development efforts. The role of women is one of the keys to increasing food security. Women are sometimes considered less involved, even though they play an important role in the family. The extensive literature on women's empowerment in the context of food security is limited. This study's contribution is to present a study using the semi-systematic literature review (SSLR) method, which screens articles from various trusted sources using ideas about women's empowerment and food security. The role of women is related to food security at the family to community level. This study's results indicate a consistent positive relationship between multiple ideas about women's empowerment and food security. This study provides new insights and is expected to benefit for other researchers looking at previous studies and seeing the prospects for research that can be done.

Abstract

Along with the times, traditional markets need innovation to survive. traditional markets need to adapt not only to modern markets but also to the rise of online markets or e-commerce. Digitalization as a way of developing Depok Market is interesting to study. This paper aims to determine the market development strategy in the era of digitalization and implementation challenges of digitization in the traditional market. This study uses a qualitative method with descriptive analysis. The research data were collected by field observations, interviews, and document review methods (content analysis). The results showed that the strategy used for the development of the Depok Market was to implement e-retribution and encourage non-cash transactions. The challenges faced in its implementation are the e-retribution machine facilities which often have errors and the ability of traders to carry out non-cash transactions is not evenly distributed.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of silver-entrepreneurship on economic growth in 34 provinces in Indonesia from 2020 to 2024. The influence was analyzed using panel data regression with the Fixed Effect Model Generalized Least Square (FEM-GLS) method. The results show that elderly who remain productive through entrepreneurship do not become an economic burden but contribute positively to regional economic growth. However, the increase in businesses involving paid workers in small-scale enterprises with low productivity tends to weaken growth due to low value-added production. These findings highlight the need for the government to support productive silver-entrepreneurs, for example, by providing business development loans for the elderly to help them run and expand their businesses. Additionally, local governments can implement mentoring programs for the elderly to identify business opportunities, increase worker productivity, and encourage business expansion.

Abstract

Indonesia hingga saat ini belum berhasil menggapai puncak angka ekspor negara Asia Tenggara. Berbagai penelitian telah dilakukan untuk mengubah kondisi tersebut namun data menunjukan tidak ada peningkatan angka ekspor yang signifikan, sementara negara berkembang yang memiliki kedudukan serupa di Asia Tenggara seperti Vietnam telah berhasil melipat gandakan angka ekspor mereka dari tahun yang sama. Studi ini berupaya untuk menganalisis mengapa hal tersebut terjadi dan bagaimana Indonesia dengan menggunakan ketersediaan UMKM bisa mengubah hal ini. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif pendekatan fenomenologi dengan tehknik in-depth interview. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa angka ekspor Indonesia bisa dorong dengan memperbanyak UMKM yang berkontribusi dalam perdagangan ekspor, sedangkan problematika yang dihadapi adalah mentalitas UMKM yang telah merasa cukup dengan pasar domestik, Hubungan geopolitik serta perjanjian dagang Indonesia dengan negara lain yang masi tertinggal, serta UMKM Indonesia yang masi menjual komoditas bahan baku mereka ke negara lain tanpa nilai tambah yang diberikan.Kata Kunci: Makroekonomi, Perdagangan ekspor, UMKMJEL Klasifikasi: I30, P23, J16

Abstract

This background of this research is the establishment of several factories in Butuh Village, Mojosongo Sub-District, Boyolali Regency, which forms an industrial area. In the past, the residents of Butuh Village worked by cultivating land and breeding livestock because the soil in this area is barren and water sources are difficult to find. Because of the establishment of industrial area, the economic activity of this area increases significantly.This research uses descriptive-quantitative research method. Qualitative analysis is used to discover the increase of economic activity and the level of health and education of the surrounding community. Whereas quantitative analysis was conducted by using Paired Samples T test. This test is used to discover the presence of average difference between two paired (corresponding) sample groups. In this case, it is about community’s income and expenditure in the surroundings of industrial area. Whereas regression analysis, specifically Ordinary Least Square(OLS) Logit, is used to discover community’s entrepreneurship desire after the existence of industrial area.The impact of industrial area in Butuh Village, Mojosongo Sub-district can reduce unemployment rate. However,most people in Butuh Village prefer becoming entrepreneurs around the industrial area to factory workers. Additional income earned shifts the way of thinking of people around industrial area in the field of education and health. In addition, there were differences of income and expenditure between the times before and after the existence of industrial area in Butuh Village. The last, education, income  and expenditure influence  the entrepreneurial decision. Key words: Industrial Area, Income, Expenditure, Paired Samples T-test, Logit.

Abstract

Wanita sebagai agen perubahan dan pembangunan sudah tidak diragukan lagi kemampuannya. Data Ikatan Wanita Pengusaha Indonesia tahun 2015 sebanyak 60% dari 49,9 juta jumlah pengusaha di Indonesia adalah wanita. Meningkatnya jumlah pengusaha wanita ini menjalar dan masuk di setiap kabupaten bahkan pada tingkat kecamatan dalam bentuk Usaha Kecil Mikro dan Menengah (UMKM) dan menjadi kekuatan ekonomi yang baru muncul . Pengusaha wanita tumbuh semakin banyak sejalan dengan kebutuhan di lingkungan masyarakat , serta tuntutan pribadi untuk melakukan suatu hal yang bermanfaat dan menghasilkan uang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini guna mengetahui factor factor yang berpengaruh terhadap keputusan wanita berwirausaha terkhusus UMKM catering atau makanan. Faktor factor tersebut diukur melalui enam variable yaitu : minat , motivasi , social media, pemberdayaan diri , modal, dan peran suami. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan data primer dari 64 responden pengusaha wanita yang berasal dari Kecamatan Polokarto Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Teknik pencarian data penelitian dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Model ini diuji dengan data dari survei di antara 64 pengusaha wanita di Kecamatan Polokarto Sukoharjo menggunakan Teknik Analisis Faktor. Hasil reduksi dan penamaan factor baru ,mengonfirmasi bahwa faktor dominan utama didominasi oleh dukungan keluarga, minat, dan motivasi. Dukungan keluarga menjadi keputusan utama bagi wanita di Kecamatan Polokarto Kabupaten Sukoharjo untuk menjadi wirausahawan.Kata Kunci: Pengusaha Wanita, UMKM, KeputusanJEL Klasifikasi: L26, O12, O16

Abstract

Pakaian merupakan salah satu kebutuhan primer manusia, pakaian tidak bisa terlepas dari kehidupan manusia sehari-hari. Maka dari itu segmnetasi bisnis pakaian merupakan bisnis yang cukup menjanjikan, ditambah dengan beragamnya gaya hidup dan budaya yang ada di Indonesia. Skripsi ini bertujuan guna mengetahui faktor apa saja yang memiliki pengaruh pada keputusan pembelian pakaian. Faktor-faktor tersebut dapat diukur dengan menggunakan beberapa variabel, diantaranya adalah Harga, Kualitas Produk, Lokasi, dan Kualitas Pelayanan. Skripsi ini adalah penelitian dengan menggunakan penelitian survey/wawancara dan data primer dari 130 responden yang berasal dari masyarakat Kabupaten Boyolali yang memiliki usai kerja yaitu 15-64 tahun. Teknik yang digunakan pada penelitian merupakan uji asumsi klasik dan analisis regresi linier berganda menggunakan SPSS 16.0 menjadi analisis hipotesis. Hasil skripsi ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel Harga, Kualitas Produk, Lokasi, dan Kualitas Pelayanan masing-masing berpengaruh secara positif signifikan terhadap variabel dependen yaitu keputusan pembelian..Kata Kunci: Harga, Kualitas Produk, Lokasi, Kualitas Pelayanan,  Dan Keputusan Pembelian Pakaian.JEL Klasifikasi: D40, L15, R30, L84, M31

Abstract

Seiring dengan adanya pandemi COVID-19, tingkat pengangguran terbuka semakin meningkat dikarenakan banyak perusahaan yang merumahkan para pekerjanya. Maka dari itu, permasalahan pengangguran menjadi polemik yang perlu untuk dicarikan solusi yang tepat. Dalam menanggulangi hal ini merupakan tanggung jawab bersama, kontribusi yang dapat dilakukan bersama adalah dengan membuka lapangan kerja atau dapat dikatakan menjadi wirausaha. Oleh karena itu, guna memberikan daya kekuatan pada masyarakat daerah sekitar Kabupaten Boyolali agar dapat mandiri dengan potensi yang dimiliki, maka diadakannya pelatihan pembuatan sushi. Sushi dipilih dikarenakan makanan yang popular di kalangan masyarakat meskipun berasal dari Jepang, bahan-bahan nya pun mudah untuk didapatkan, merupakan makanan yang kaya akan protein, serta merupakan makanan yang diolah dengan kreativitas, sehingga masyarakat dapat berkreasi sekreatif mungkin. Maka, dengan pelatihan pembuatan sushi diharapkan juga menjadi salah satu terwujudnya ekonomi kreatif dengan menjadi wirausaha. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode demo memasak dan praktik langsung yang dilakukan oleh peserta yang mayoritas adalah para ibu rumah tangga. Dengan metode ini, para peserta sangat antusiasn dan dapat memahami dengan mudah tahapan demi tahapan proses pembuatan sushi. Dari hasil kegiatan ini, para beserta berhasil dalam membuat dua macam sushi yaitu makizushi dan oshizushi.  Kata kunci : pengangguran; pelatihan; sushi; wirausaha
