Abstract

Pada tahun ajaran semester genap 2019/2020 sampai semester ganjil 2021/2022 siswa harus belajar dari rumah, hal ini terjadi karena adanya pandemi covid-19 di dunia termasuk di Indonesia yang mengakibatkan siswa harus belajar dari rumah yang memberikan dampak turunnya hasil belajar siswa karena siswa harus mempelajari materi pelajaran sendiri dengan didampingi orang tua, dan membuat siswa tidak dapat memahami materi pelajaran yang dipelajari dengan baik dan pada semester genap 2021/2022 siswa sudah belajar secara tatap muka di sekolah yang mengharuskan guru berusaha keras dalam proses pembelajaran.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menggunakan strategi pemberian reward akan lebih baik dibandingkan hasil belajar matematika siswa yang tidak menggunakan strategi pemberian reaward. Setelah dilakukan analisis data maka didapatkan harga thitung = 4,632 dan ttable = 2,000 karena thitung > ttable, maka hipotesis penelitian diterima., dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar matematika siswa yang mendapatkan strategi pemberian reward lebih baik dari pada hasil belajar matematika siswa yang yang tidak mendapatkan strategi pemberian reward.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, peneliti berharap guru bisa menerapkan strategi pemberian reward dan melihat pengaruhnya terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa secara berkelanjutan karena guru lebih memiliki kedekatan emosional dengan siswa dan lebih berpengalaman dalam mengajar, yang akan memberikan dampak yang lebih baik kepada hasil belajar siswa dan bisa mengatasi permasalahan-permasalahan yang mungkin timbul disaat proses pembelajaran sedang berlangsung.

Abstract

Online games are very popular among students in Indonesia today and have a significant impact on their behaviour. These games use the internet, allowing players to interact with one another from different locations. This is the main reason why online games are so popular. Technological advances should function as tools and media to support student learning in schools, families, and communities. The purpose of this study was to identify students’ online gaming habits, their behaviour in extracurricular activities, and the negative effects of online gaming on learning time at school. The research employed a qualitative approach in the form of a case study. Data were collected from the principal, supervising teachers, and students who participated in extracurricular activities such as basketball, music, and scouting at Senior High School through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the analysis revealed three major impacts of online games on student behaviour. First, students have been playing online games since 2019, with the most common games being Mobile Legends, Free Fire, and Player Unknown’s Battle Grounds. Second, students’ behaviour while playing online games includes feelings of enjoyment, excitement, challenge, and frustration. Third, the positive impacts of online games include easier interaction, stress relief, and improved teamwork, while the negative impacts include neglecting schoolwork, using foul language, and engaging in fights. The results of this study can serve as initial data for further research on this issue in different contexts and settings.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the talaqqi method in improving students' ability to memorize the Quran. The talaqqi method which is one of the traditional methods in memorizing the Quran involves direct interaction between the teacher (murshid) and the student in the process of repeating and correcting the reading. This case study was conducted at one of the Islamic educational institutions that focus on teaching Alquran memorization in Indonesia. This research uses qualitative methods with data sources taken through field observations, interviews with students and teachers, and analysis of student memorization achievements. The results showed that the talaqqi method effectively strengthens students' memorization and improves tajweed and makhrarijul huruf. It also improves learning discipline and emotional engagement between teachers and students, which has a positive impact on the memorization process. Although this method requires high time intensity and close supervision, the long-term benefits in forming strong and consistent memorization are felt by students. This study concludes that the talaqqi method can be an effective approach in learning to memorize the Quran provided there are competent teachers and a conducive learning environment.
