Abstract

Entrepreneurship is crucial for students to navigate intense competition in the globalized era. Chemo-entrepreneurship (CEP) integrates chemistry education with the production of marketable products, which can serve as practical videos to illustrate the application and relevance of functional group materials in daily life, making chemistry learning more impactful when applied practically. This research aims to develop YouTube content in the form of practical videos on functional group material containing chemo-entrepreneurship. The method used in this research is research and development (R&D) with a define, design, develop, and disseminate (4-D) model. The products developed are assessed by material, media, and educational practitioner experts using product quality assessment sheets and student responses. The percentage of assessments from material, media experts, and reviewers are 87, 96, and 91%, respectively. Students responded positively to the practical video that was developed and obtained a percentage of 97%. Assessments from experts, reviewers, and students are in the very good category. Based on the data obtained, the practical video developed is suitable for use as an alternative media in practical learning of functional group material to improve students' entrepreneurial spirit.

Abstract

Qur’an science learning is needed so that students are intelligent academically, attitudinal, and spiritually. This study aims to develop an animated video of the integrated atomic structure material of the Qur'an using the PowToon web app. The method used in this study is the 4D Re  search & Development (R&D) model (Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate). The products developed were assessed by media experts, material experts, reviewers, and student responses. The results of product quality assessment by material experts get a percentage of 95% in the excellent category, media experts get 90% in the outstanding variety, and reviewers get a rate of 94% in the excellent category. Class X high school students responded positively to the products developed with a percentage of 94%. Based on the assessment results, the video can be used as an online learning medium for Qur’an-integrated atomic structure material to increase gratitude to Allah SWT. Abstract

This research aims to develop a HOTS test instrument on electrochemistry topics that meets valid and reliable criteria. Apart from that, the level of difficulty, distinguishing power, ability level, and detection of respondent bias were also analyzed. This research is development research using the Tessmer model, which includes preliminary and formative evaluation stages. The HOTS questions consist of 15 multiple-choice questions. The validation data from experts is measured using a Likert scale. Coefficient Aikens’ V is then used to measure the validation data from reviewers. Experts and reviewer assessments indicated that the HOTS question instrument developed was very good. Analysis of questions using the Rasch model in a field testing of 33 high school students using a purposive sampling technique resulted in 14 valid questions and 1 invalid question with a reliability value of 0,69. There were 3 questions in the easy category, 7 in the moderate category, 1 in the hard category, and 4 in the extremely hard category. The analysis of the distinguishing power of the questions obtained 9 questions with very good criteria, 3 questions with good criteria, and 2 with fair criteria. The results of the validity of the students` responses showed that there were 4 invalid responses. The ability level shows that 5 students have high ability, 7 have moderate ability, and 21 have low ability. In conclusion, the developed HOTS test instrument for electrochemical material has a good quality and is suitable for evaluation.

Abstract

Identification of learning media is the first step of series activities in inclusive setting research. The availability of chemistry learning media, obstacles encountered by teachers in modifying the media, and solutions that can be done to meet the needs of chemistry learning media for blind and deaf students ininclusive school in Yogyakarta need to be investigated. A descriptive qualitative research using data collecting techniques of observation, interview, attitude scale filling and document analysis has done. This research finds the fact that chemistry learning media for blind and deaf students are very limited, it is caused by the fact that the teachers had never follow any training for developing chemistry learning media for disabled student. As a recommendation, the solution to fulfill the needs of chemistry learning media is by providing training for teacher and developing media through undergraduate students’ final thesis.
