Abstract

ISO 9001;2015 Quality Management System is a quality assurance document for the stages of the process of implementing construction work activities in accordance with management rules. There are 7 ISO 9001;2015 principles, namely: 1. Customer focus, 2. Leadership, 3. Engagement and competence of people, 4. Process approach, 5. Improvement, 6. Informed decision making, 7. Relationship management. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of implementing the ISO 9001;2015 Quality Management System in fulfilling quality management requirements in the implementation of supervision on road and bridge projects in South Sulawesi province based on the seven principles of ISO 9001;2015. Data collection was carried out by interviewing, observing and distributing questionnaires to Supervision Consultant personnel in all road and bridge monitoring packages in the province of South Sulawei for the 2022 fiscal year. To analyze the effectiveness of implementing the Quality Management System ISO 9001; 2015 a quantitative descriptive approach was used and analysis used a Likert scale, the type of data used is primary data (results of interviews, questionnaires, observations) and secondary data. Based on the research results, the effectiveness of implementing ISO 9001; 2015 in project implementation is in the good category.

Abstract

Kota Samarinda dan Kota Balikpapan sebagai pusat penggerak roda perekonomian di Kalimantan Timur memiliki jalan tol sebagai jalur alternatif untuk mobilitas pergerakan orang, barang dan jasa sehingga tidak mengalami berbagai macam kendala. Sesuai Undang-Undang nomor 38 tahun 2004 tentang jalan disebutkan bahwa pengguna jalan tol dikenakan kewajiban membayar tol yang digunakan untuk pengembalian investasi, pemeliharaan dan pengembangan jalan tol. Persepsi masyarakat sebagai pengguna jalan yang menjadikan jalan tol sebagai jalan alternatif adalah dengan biaya yang dikeluarkan akan memberikan nilai berupa penghematan dalam biaya operasional kendaraan, waktu tempuh, kenyamanan, keamanan dan fasilitas penunjang. Adanya kenaikan tarif Tol Balikpapan-Samarinda mulai tanggal 26 April 2023 tentu berdampak pada meningkatnya biaya yang harus dikeluarkan oleh para konsumen pengguna jalan tol, untuk mengetahui dampak kenaikan tarif tol terbaru tersebut terhadap tingkat kepuasan masyarakat pengguna jalan tol Balikpapan-Samarinda maka dilakukan penelitian ini. Metode penelitian bersifat Deskriptif Kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis Skala Likert dan Kelas Interval untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi pengguna jalan tol, maka didapatkan hasil bahwa pengguna tol kurang puas terhadap kenaikan tarif tol Balikpapan-Samarinda.

Abstract

Project-based learning (PBL) has been increasingly adopted in vocational higher education as a pedagogical approach that integrates technical skill development with interpersonal competency formation. However, the role of cultural and religious character values in shaping student cooperation within PBL environments remains underexplored, particularly in the Indonesian vocational context. This research examines how Islamic character values, namely amanah (trustworthiness), ta'awun (mutual assistance), and musyawarah (deliberation), were expressed and reinforced within the PBL structure implemented in the Wood Engineering study at Politeknik Pertanian Negeri Samarinda, and how this contributed to the development of student cooperation skills. A qualitative descriptive case study was employed, involving 44 fourth-semester students in eleven working groups across multiple wood engineering courses. Data were collected through structured in-depth interviews, participatory observation across 32 sessions, eleven focus group discussions, and document analysis. Thematic analysis following Braun and Clarke six-phase framework was applied, with inter-rater reliability of Cohen Kappa 0.86. Findings suggest that the project structure created favorable conditions for the expression and reinforcement of these character values, though the degree of internalization varied considerably across groups and individual students. The study contributes an empirically grounded illustration of how Islamic character values and cooperative behavior interact within authentic vocational project work, while acknowledging the context-specific nature of the findings
