Abstract

Agriculture and plantations in Indonesia are very worthy of competing to seize market opportunities in the era of free trade. in this Community Service (PKM) activity, holding and providing counseling to the Teupin Panah,Kecamatan Kaway XVI Aceh Barat. preparing facilities and locations to carry out activities. the goal is that the expected results are useful and beneficial and also right on target for the community and designing a schedule, the first stage was carried out in May 2023, and June 11, 2023. lecture and discussion methods. economic empowerment by forming cooperatives and savings and loans, added value for the community by processing oil palm fronds into fertilizer, and the leaves can be used to weave mats, and no less importantly, ribs can be used as handicrafts. By carrying out Community Service activities, it is beneficial for academics. especially the knowledge that is directly obtained and provides a real contribution to the community in increasing income.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between economic growth and poverty, income inequality, and the quality of human resources. This study uses secondary data, namely time series data over 15 years from 2007-2021. The results of the empirical research show that economic growth is weakly correlated with poverty, income inequality, and human resource quality. In addition, it does not show any causal relationship. However, it is interesting that there is a negative correlation between poverty and the human development index and a positive and negative correlation between poverty and inequality. Several policy implications are recommended to the government about the results of the study and empirical analysis.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of the Special Autonomy Fund (Otsus) on the Human Development Index (HDI) in Aceh during 2015–2024 using panel data from 23 districts/cities and a Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The analysis includes Otsus funds, education expenditure, health expenditure, and regional investment as independent variables. The findings indicate that Otsus funds significantly improve HDI, with varying impacts across regions. Education and health spending further strengthen this effect, highlighting the importance of effective and targeted budget allocation. The study provides insights for improving the management of Otsus funds to support sustainable human development in Aceh.
