Abstract

Desa Lae Balno memiliki potensi besar dalam pengelolaan limbah lidi pelepah sawit yang belum tergali secara maksimal. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan limbah tersebut guna mendukung peningkatan ekonomi desa. Melalui strategi yang melibatkan sosialisasi intensif, pelatihan masyarakat, dan pengembangan protokol adaptif, kegiatan ini dirancang untuk memperkuat kapasitas lokal dalam mengelola limbah lidi pelepah sawit. Kerjasama dengan pemangku kepentingan menjadi kunci dalam menciptakan produk berbasis limbah yang inovatif dan bernilai ekonomi. Implementasi program diawali dengan sosialisasi untuk membangun kesadaran bersama antara tim pelaksana dan masyarakat. Kegiatan ini dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan dan praktik pengelolaan limbah yang efektif, serta pengembangan produk yang menjanjikan nilai tambah ekonomi bagi masyarakat Desa Lae Balno. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengelola limbah lidi pelepah sawit, serta menciptakan peluang ekonomi baru. Evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan ekonomi dan perubahan perilaku yang positif terhadap pengelolaan limbah, membuktikan potensi kegiatan serupa untuk diadopsi di wilayah lain.

Abstract

This study examines the relationships between export orientation, social capital, strategic competitiveness, and export performance within the context of firms operating in international markets. Utilizing a theoretical framework based on the Resource-Based View (RBV) and Cadogan's epistemology, the research explores the role of social capital as an intangible resource that can enhance export performance and the contribution of export orientation as a driver of strategic competitiveness. The analysis results reveal a significant impact of export orientation on strategic competitiveness (P-Value 0.000), yet it does not demonstrate a direct significant effect on export performance (P-Value 0.139). Conversely, social capital has a highly significant impact on export performance (P-Value 0.000) and export orientation (P-Value 0.000), but it does not significantly influence strategic competitiveness (P-Value 0.249). Furthermore, strategic competitiveness significantly affects export performance (P-Value 0.000). These findings suggest that while both export orientation and social capital play vital roles in enhancing export performance, firms must develop robust strategic competitiveness to achieve success in the global market. This research provides insights into the importance of integrating social resources, export orientation, and competitive strategies to achieve optimal export performance.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi determinan multidimensi yang memengaruhi status kemiskinan rumah tangga di Provinsi Aceh dengan mengintegrasikan indikator sosial-ekonomi, kondisi perumahan, akses kesehatan, dan struktur keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan model regresi logistik biner dengan data rumah tangga dari berbagai kabupaten/kota di Aceh. Sebelas variabel independen dianalisis, mencakup kondisi perumahan, akses terhadap layanan kesehatan, status gizi anak, serta dinamika keluarga seperti status perceraian dan ketiadaan dukungan sosial pasca-cerai. Validitas model diuji menggunakan goodness-of-fit Hosmer–Lemeshow dan nilai Nagelkerke R². Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesebelas indikator berpengaruh signifikan terhadap status kemiskinan rumah tangga. Rumah tidak layak huni (OR = 4,963), tidak memiliki akses layanan kesehatan (OR = 3,184), dan balita bergizi buruk (OR = 2,622) merupakan prediktor terkuat. Selain itu, kepala keluarga berstatus cerai tanpa dukungan sosial (OR = 2,352) memiliki kemungkinan lebih tinggi mengalami kemiskinan. Model ini mampu menjelaskan 28,4% variabilitas status kemiskinan (Nagelkerke R² = 0,284) dan lolos uji kecocokan model (p = 0,623). Kata Kunci:  Kemiskinan multidimensi, Regresi logistik, Stunting, Deprivasi perumahan, Dukungan sosial, Aceh, Malnutrisi

Abstract

Purpose This research purposes to explore the impact of servant leadership and job satisfaction on the performance of civil servants in the Indonesian language pegawai negeri sipil (PNS). Moreover, we also examine the role of organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB) as a mediator of the association with the servant leadership and the job satisfaction on the performance of civil servants.Design/Methodology We used simple random sampling techniques and selected 210 respondents. The data was examined by the partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) method with the help of software SmartPLS.Results The study results to show partially the servant leadership, the OCB and the job satisfaction significantly impact to the civil servant performance. Servant leadership significantly influences civil servant performance. In addition, OCB acts as a mediator in the relationship between servant leadership and job satisfaction on civil servant performance.Research limitations The results obtained should be interpreted with alert because they are confined to the specific geographical area along with the nature of the respondents selected.Implications The results reported in this study can guide the management to be able to increase the performance of civil servants via enhanced roles of servant leadership (SL), job satisfaction (JS) and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB).Novelty/Originality The study proves the role of OCB as complementary mediation, especially in the context of civil servants in Indonesia.

Abstract

Human resources are an important asset in an organization. One way to retain employees in an organization requires increasing Employee Engagement, workload, and job satisfaction with employee performance. This research aims to identify key factors that influence employee performance from a subjective point of view and investigate how POB indicators and DCS aspects are reflected in employee experiences. This research design uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, research data is collected through in-depth interviews with employees so that conclusions can be obtained as a result of the research. The results of this research indicate that Employee Engagement has important value in improving employee performance. Employees who feel involved, have control in carrying out their work and feel valued by the organization tend to be more motivated and committed to making maximum contributions. On the other hand, excessive workload can have a negative impact on employee performance, causing stress, fatigue, and decreased productivity. However, if the workload is balanced with adequate control, optimal performance can be achieved. Job satisfaction plays an important role in improving employee performance. Employees who feel satisfied with their jobs tend to be creative, innovative and have a high level of commitment to the organization. The implication of this research is that it is important for organizations to develop strategies that enable employees to feel involved, overcome high workloads, and feel satisfied with their work so that they can improve the performance and services provided to JKN participants.

Abstract

The performance of hospital employees greatly determines the quality of services provided to patients. Factors that influence the effectiveness of employee performance are gender differences and the ability to work in a team. This research aims at analyzing the effect of gender and teamwork on the effectiveness of employee performance in Harapan Sehat Hospital Meulaboh. This research uses qualitative data that is the respondents’ answers on the research instrument. The population of this research is all employees of Harapan Sehat Hospital Meulaboh which totaling 132 people. This research applies saturated sampling as the technique which means that all the population become the sample of the research. The data analysis is conducted by using partial test (t-test) and simultaneous test (F-test). The results of the study show that: (1) gender has a significant effect on the effectiveness of employee performance; (2) teamwork has a significant effect on the effectiveness of employee performance, and; (3) gender and teamwork simultaneously have a significant effect on the effectiveness of employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to understand how perceived organizational politics affects the interactions among Civil Servants (Pegawai Negeri Sipil - PNS) in West Aceh. 472 respondents were collected for the study and analyzed using the partial least square method. The research findings revealed that relationship and communication do not directly influence meaningful work. However, in the context of perceived organizational politics (POP), meaningful work plays a crucial role in reducing the negative effects of organizational politics. Employees who perceive their work as meaningful show higher motivation, reduced tension, increased engagement, and greater commitment to the organization. A positive organizational reputation and meaningful work together contribute to reducing perceived organizational politics, creating a harmonious and productive work environment. While resource does not affect meaningful work, unfair resource competition can impact employee engagement by causing dissatisfaction and reduced collaboration. Therefore, PNS management needs to create a fair, transparent, and empowering work environment to enhance employee engagement and well-being. These research findings offer valuable insights for organizational managers in understanding the importance of fostering a meaningful work environment and reducing disruptive organizational politics for employees.

Abstract

Budget absorption is one of the important indicators in evaluating the financial performance of local governments. This study aims to identify the factors influencing budget absorption in Aceh Province by investigating the impact of the previous year's budget balance and local revenue on budget absorption in Aceh Province. The data used is secondary data collected from the financial and budget reports of Aceh Province for the period 2016-2022. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression using SEM PLS software. The results of the study indicate that the independent variables, previous year's budget balance and local revenue, have different impacts on budget absorption in Aceh Province. The implication of this study is the importance of effective and efficient budget management at the local level to ensure optimal budget absorption.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of social laziness on the intention to leave work at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Meulaboh branch. The variables in this study are; (1) Social Loafing, (2) Turnover Intention. From a population of 369 people, 168 people were sampled using a simple random sampling method. The Model Summary shows an R value of 0.299, an R Square of 0.089, an Adjusted R Square of 0.072, and a Standard Error of the Estimate of 16.52891. The results showed that social laziness significantly affected the intention to leave the job. Based on these findings, it is recommended that PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Meulaboh branch increases transparency and fairness in decision-making, reduces social laziness by clarifying individual responsibilities, and develops a more empathetic and supportive leadership style. These measures are expected to create a healthier and more supportive work environment, thereby reducing the employee's intention to leave work.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze E-service quality on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty to customers who use the BSI mobile application at BSI Meulaboh Imam Bonjol Branch Office. The population in this study are all BSI customers who use the BSI mobile application with a total sample of 105 respondents. This study uses a descriptive research type with a quantitative approach and partial least squares analysis assisted by Smart PLS 3 software. The equation models analyzed are the outer model, inner model and hypothesis testing by analyzing the results of path coefficients which are evaluated through bootstrapping calculations. Based on these results, it was found that the e-service quality of all indicators was only tangibles indicators which had a significant impact on customer loyalty but did not have a significant impact on customer satisfaction using the BSI mobile application. Meanwhile, the variable customer satisfaction on customer loyalty has a significant impact, which means that when customers are satisfied, they will be loyal in using the BSI mobile application.
