Abstract

This research aims to describe the learning interest of fourth-grade students in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SD Negeri 4 Tamanwinangun Kebumen. Learning interest is a crucial factor in the success of the educational process, as students with higher interest are more likely to understand, internalize, and practice the knowledge they acquire. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that fourth-grade students generally show a strong interest in PAI learning. This is reflected in their regular attendance, active participation in classroom discussions, attentiveness to the teacher’s explanations, and enthusiastic involvement during lessons. Factors influencing learning interest include internal aspects, such as motivation, readiness, and emotional condition; external aspects, such as parental support, teaching methods, school environment, and peer influence; as well as learning approaches, both affective and practical. The study concludes that students’ learning interest significantly contributes to their understanding of PAI material. With strong interest, students not only gain accurate knowledge of Islamic teachings but also develop religious attitudes, tolerance, and the ability to practice Islamic values in their daily lives.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of lecturer competence on student satisfaction at IAINU Kebumen. Lecturer competence in this study encompasses four main dimensions: pedagogical, professional, personality, and social competence. This study used a quantitative method with a survey approach involving 54 students selected through a non-probability sampling technique. The research instrument used a Likert scale, which has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was performed using simple linear regression. The results indicate that lecturer competence significantly influences student satisfaction, as indicated by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a regression coefficient of 0.614. The R-square value of 0.653 indicates that 65.3% of the variation in student satisfaction can be explained by lecturer competence. These findings confirm that lecturer quality, in terms of material mastery, teaching ability, personality, and social interaction, is a crucial factor in increasing student satisfaction. This study implies that continuous lecturer professional development is a strategic necessity for improving the quality of learning at IAINU Kebumen.

Abstract

The ability to read the Koran is very important for every Muslim, because the Koran is the main source of Islamic teachings. Applying tajwid to read the Koran correctly helps maintain the authenticity of the lafaz contained in it. The aim of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of the talaqi musyafahah method in improving the ability to read the Al-Qur'an for grade 3 students in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects. This research is PTK research which consists of 2 cycles. Data collection techniques use tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use the Miles & Huberman & Saldana model which consists of the stages of data condensation, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the study prove that the talaqi musyafahah method can improve students' understanding of reading the Qur'an at SD N 1 Gesikan. With a large increase in cycle I of 60% and a large increase in cycle II of 90%. Thus, it can be concluded that the talaqi musyafahah method is an effective and applicable approach in improving students' ability to read the Qur'an, especially in the application of correct tajwid. The significant increase from cycle I to cycle II shows that this method is able to provide a positive impact on student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. In addition, this method also encourages active student participation in the learning process, strengthens direct interaction between teachers and students, and creates a more focused, directed, and meaningful learning atmosphere. With these advantages, the talaqqi musyafahah method is worthy of being used as an alternative learning strategy to improve the quality of Qur'an learning at the elementary school level.Kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an merupakan hal yang sangat penting bagi setiap muslim, karena Al-Qur’an merupakan sumber ajaran Islam yang utama. Penerapan tajwid membaca Al-Qur'an yang tepat membantu menjaga keaslian lafaz yang terkandung di dalamnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis efektivitas metode talaqi musyafahah dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur'an siswa kelas 3 mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian PTK yang terdiri dari 2 siklus. Masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 2 pertemuan. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan test, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles & Huberman & Saldana yang terdiri dari tahap kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa metode talaqi musyafahah dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam membaca Al-Qur’an di SD N 1 Gesikan. Dengan besar peningkatan di siklus I adalah sebesar 60% dan besar peningkatan di siklus II adalah sebesar 90%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode talaqi musyafahah merupakan pendekatan yang efektif dan aplikatif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an siswa, khususnya dalam penerapan tajwid yang benar. Peningkatan signifikan dari siklus I ke siklus II menunjukkan bahwa metode ini mampu memberikan dampak positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran PAI. Selain itu, metode ini juga mendorong partisipasi aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, memperkuat interaksi langsung antara guru dan siswa, serta menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih terfokus, terarah, dan bermakna. Dengan keunggulan tersebut, metode talaqqi musyafahah layak dijadikan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Al-Qur'an di jenjang sekolah dasar.
