Abstract

This research analyzes the role of local media in a disaster context by examining the construction of reality in flood reporting in Ponorogo by the Local Media "Kanal Ponorogo". With the dominance of hydrometeorological disasters such as floods (72% of total disaster events from 2023-2024), Ponorogo Regency was selected as the case study. Methodologically, this research is a qualitative study using the framing analysis method based on Robert N. Entman's model to dissect how Kanal Ponorogo frames the flood issue through four elements: problem definition, causal diagnosis, moral judgment, and treatment recommendation. The results of the analysis of three main news stories show that Kanal Ponorogo's reporting is dominated by a reactive and episodic pattern, focusing on disaster impacts and emergency response. The frames used vary, ranging from human interest and victim frames (highlighting the suffering of residents) to action and solution frames (emphasizing the heroic performance of the military/police). However, consistently, the reporting avoids structural analysis by simplifying flood causality solely as a natural phenomenon, without delving into root causes such as environmental governance or mitigation failures. The research concludes that while serving as a channel for citizen aspirations and providing legitimacy for authorities, the framing used has the potential to obscure the root of the problem and reduce demands for accountability. Consequently, there is a gap between the strategic potential of local media as a partner in disaster resilience and its reporting practices, which are not yet proactive.

Abstract

Produk pariwisata di desa tidak hanya berasal dari potensi alam, tetapi juga dapat diciptakan, salah satunya adalah Pasar Doplang yang telah menjadi salah satu destinasi wisata buatan yang dianggap sukses, melalui praktik branding kemudian menghasilkan peluang untuk dikembangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap praktik branding di Pasar Doplang. Metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dilakukan sebagai cara untuk melihat secara keseluruhan bagaimana Pasar Doplang dikembangkan secara sistematis. Dari beberapa analisis, dikonfirmasi bahwa Pasar Dhoplang merupakan hasil dari ide-ide kreatif yang muncul dan hasil dari komunitas, yang kemudian dikembangkan melalui praktik branding dan manajemen acara, sehingga dapat menghasilkan sumber pendapatan baru bagi komunitas, atraksi wisata yang beragam, dan partisipasi aktif wisatawan juga mendukung pertumbuhan pasar. Namun, infrastruktur pendukung perlu ditingkatkan untuk menampung pertumbuhan pengunjung. Kami merekomendasikan studi lebih lanjut tentang pengembangan inovasi pemasaran melalui media online, hal ini penting mengingat situasi saat ini yang membutuhkan publikasi destinasi wisata untuk diperkenalkan kepada masyarakat. Strategi pengembangan Pasar Dhoplang telah memberikan kontribusi positif bagi kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui peningkatan pendapatan. Namun, perlu ditingkatkan pendidikan dan penegakan hukum untuk memastikan dampak positif yang berkelanjutan bagi kesejahteraan masyarakat. Dari perspektif kesejahteraan Islam, Pasar Dhoplang telah menjadi tempat kesejahteraan yang tidak terkait dengan aspek lain.

Abstract

This study examines the utilization of Instagram as a digital communication medium for AI-based smart agriculture through a case study of the @sendi_dpp account. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, the research analyzes communication strategies, content characteristics, and audience responses through in-depth interviews with the account manager and some active followers, as well as digital observation of published content. Findings reveal that Instagram effectively educates the public about smart agriculture through short-duration reels format, simplification of technical information using conversational language, demonstrative visualization, and responsive two-way interaction. The study identifies significant perceptual transformation among audiences, particularly young generation, from viewing agriculture as a traditional sector to recognizing it as modern and prospective. Content successfully enhances digital agricultural literacy, encourages organic sharing behavior, and motivates active knowledge seeking. Instagram proves to provide a conducive ecosystem for visual educational communication with significant reach, engagement, and impact in transforming negative stigma about agriculture and attracting young generation's interest toward agritech innovation in Indonesia. Abstract

Character education in children, are now starting to been distorted , compared with character education a child at long time ago, It has been understood or there is progress of communications technology that is very fast right now , good what happened in village and in the city will have an influence to the formation of the character of a child. The establishment of the character of a child that is not good resulted in cases that do not sought by the community as:, larceny committed by children, free sex the sons of impurity hard. In education world, the family has a role to play in the formation of a large and important. the character of a child, Expected outer dhasilkan in this research can answer any problems in the formation of the character of a child education to be the stronger face a better future. Character Education “Anak Jaman Now” in Ngelumpang Village, Mlarak District, Although the current information technology has advanced rapidly, but character education in perspective communication will depart from family education, The family education is very important to be implemented for the, by granting, enough religious education instilling discipline in order for, ideals and work hard so interwoven good communication between family members, the emergence of the openness to parents, and the environment or to community figures.
