Abstract

Real Work Lecture (KKN) is an important component in higher education which aims to develop student competencies. KKN in Bintang Meriah Village is a program that provides opportunities for students to interact directly with the people in the village. This study aims to reveal the role of KKN as part of developing student competencies in Bintang Meriah Village. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and document analysis. The results of the study show that KKN in Bintang Meriah Village makes a significant contribution to developing student competence. KKN gives students the opportunity to interact with various levels of society in Bintang Meriah Village. This helps students develop social competencies, such as the ability to communicate, work in teams, and understand cultural differences. Through direct experience in Bintang Meriah Village, students can understand in depth the social and environmental issues faced by the village community. This helps them become students who are more concerned about these problems. KKN provides valuable practical experience for students outside the academic environment. This can help them develop job skills relevant to their field of study. This study concludes that KKN in Bintang Meriah Village has an important role in developing student competence, both from a social, academic, and moral perspective. Therefore, KKN programs in villages should continue to be supported and improved so that students can make a greater positive contribution to society and develop themselves holistically.

Abstract

The Permadani Dakwah Institute (Association of Qur'anic Dakwah Youth), is an organization that focuses on building the young generation in an educational journey based on the Qur'an. This study aims to analyze the strategies carried out by the Permadani Dakwah Institute within the framework of the Qur'an Village development program in Bandar Setia Village, Percut Sei Tuan District. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, namely data obtained from in-depth interviews with the head of the institution, foundation, and teachers in program management. The results of the study indicate challenges and obstacles, such as the minimal role of youth and lack of support from the local government. The Qur'anic Village Managers overcome these obstacles by collaborating with the community, parents and the local government by organizing various dakwah programs, such as tafsir studies, dhikr, tasbih prayers, teenage dakwah overnight stays, children's post-maghrib studies and Permadani sharing. The strategies used have proven to be effective and efficient in building the Qur'anic generation in the Qur'anic Village. Lembaga Dakwah Permadani (Persatuan Pemuda Dakwah qur’ani), merupakan organisasi yang berkonsentrasi membangun generasi muda dalam menempuh pendidikan berlandaskan Al-Qur'an Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi yang dilakukan oleh Lembaga Dakwah Permadani dengan rangka pembinaan program Kampung Qur'an di Desa Bandar Setia, Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu data yang diperoleh dari wawancara mendalam terhadap ketua lembaga, yayasan, dan pengajar dalam pengelola program. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat adanya tantangan maupun hambatan, seperti minimnya peran pemuda dan kurangnya support dari pemerintah setempat. Para Pengelola Kampung Qur’ani mengatasi hambatan tersebut dengan melakukan kolaborasi ke masyarakat, orang tua dan Pihak pemerintah setempat dengan menyelenggarakan berbagai program dakwah, seperti pengajian tafsir, dzikir, sholat tasbih, mabit dakwah remaja, pengajian ba’da maghrib anak-anak dan Permadani berbagi. Strategi yang digunakan teruji efektif dan efisien dalam membangun generasi Qur’ani di Kampung Qur'an.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the impact of unhealthy friendships on the mental health of students in the Islamic Guidance and Counseling Study Program at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, State Islamic University of North Sumatra for the Academic Year 2021, as well as the adaptive strategies applied to cope with such toxic relationships. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with purposive sampling, data collection through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and data analysis conducted interactively and continuously. The results of the study indicate that toxic friendships are characterized by manipulative behavior, social and academic jealousy, and emotional exploitation, which lead to increased stress, anxiety, decreased self-esteem, and emotional fatigue among students. Students develop adaptive strategies in the form of setting personal boundaries, reflection and strengthening emotional awareness, seeking healthy social support, and reinforcing religiosity as coping mechanisms. These findings confirm that the quality of friendships has a significant impact on students' mental health and emphasize the importance of guidance and counseling-based interventions, particularly through the approach of Islamic values, to build healthy social relationships and support psychological well-being

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Implementation of the Management Functions of the Addakwah Institution Mosque in Increasing the Prosperity of the Haja Endang Sutijah Mosque, Sibolangit Village. This research is a descriptive qualitative research, this research is a field research. The data in this study used primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques in this study by conducting semi- structured interviews and observation. Data analysis techniques in this study were in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Checking the validity of the data in this study is by using a triangulation technique. The results of this study indicate that the activities carried out at the Haja Endang Sutijah Mosque in Sibolangit Village are under the management of the Addakwah Institute. The management carried out by the Addakwah Institution is linked to the management function as an effort made to regulate the course of the Addakwah Institution program at the Haja Endang Sutijah Mosque, Sibolangit Village so that the prosperity of the mosque can increase as the goals of the Addakwah Institution. So the implementation of the management function of the Addakwah Institute in increasing the prosperity of the Haja Endang Sutijah Mosque, Sibolangit Village, namely by planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising.
