Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memperlancar dan mendukung pembelajaran serta pencapaian mutu pembelajaran pada masa pandemic Covid-19 dan peningkatan kompetensi guru bidang TIK pada kedua sekolah mitra. Metode yang digunakan selama proses kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat meliputi: (1) metode ceramah untuk memberikan penjelasan langsung penggunaan aplikasi video conference, (2) metode diskusi untuk curah pendapat antara peserta dengan tim pengabdian pada hal-hal yang dianggap sulit, (3) metode praktek untuk memberikan kesempatan kepada peserta mempraktekan materi pelatihan yang diperoleh. Dengan adanya kegiatan pelatihan ini diperoleh hasil diantaranya: (a) guru pada sekolah mitra dapat menggunakan aplikasi video conference berbasis zoom cloud meeting; (b) guru pada sekolah mitra dapat menggunakan aplikasi video conference berbasis google meeting; (c) guru pada sekolah mitra dapat menggunakan aplikasi video conference berbasis Cisco Webex.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran matematika realistik terhadap literasi matematika siswa MTs Al-Ikhlas Raha. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII MTs Al-Ikhlas Raha tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 yang terdistribusi dalam 2 kelas. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik Total Sampling.Sedangkan penentuan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dilakukan secara acak. Kelas VII­I-1 sebagai kelas ekperimen yang diajardengan pendekatan pembelajaran matematika realistik dan kelas VIII-2 sebagai kelas kontrol yang diajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Desain penelitian ini adalahPosttest Only Control Group Design. Data hasil penelitian dikumpulkan melalui pemberian instrumen berupa tes literasi matematika berbentuk soal uraian dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial melalui uji-t pada α=0,05. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran matematika realistik efektif terhadap literasi matematika siswa di kelas VIII MTs Al-Ikhlas Raha dilihat dari rata-rata literasi matematika siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada rata-rata literasi matematika siswa kelas kontrol.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the problem-based learning (PBL) learning model in improving the mathematical problem solving skills of students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 17 Kendari. The population in this study were all VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 17 Kendari consisting of 7 classes, namely VIII1 to VIII7. Determination of class samples as treatment groups was carried out using purposive sampling techniques by considering the average value and variance of the results of students' midterm exam scores in mathematics. Of the two existing class groups carried out by simple randomization so as to obtain two classes that will be used as research samples, namely VIII1 as a control class taught using a team assisted individualization learning model and VIII7 as an experimental class taught using a problem-based learning model. The results of the observation sheet, tests that measure students' mathematical problem solving skills and questionnaires are used as data which will then be analyzed. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of problem-based learning model in improving mathematical problem solving skills of students in class VIII SMP Negeri 17 Kendari.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kemampuan literasi matematis siswa yang rendah. Tujuan Penelitian ini yaitu: untuk menganalisis kemampuan literasi matematis siswa kelas VIII A SMPN 16 Konawe Selatan ditinjau dari gaya belajar. Subjek penelitian ini diambil dari hasil angket gaya belajar sebanyak  3 siswa yaitu masing-masing visual, auditorial, dan kinestetik. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian eksploratif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data hasil penelitian di kumpulkan melalui pemberian angket, tes tertulis dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh kesimpulan: (1) siswa yang bergaya belajar visual memiliki kemampuan literasi matematis siswa kategori tinggi, memilik karakteristik mengandalkan indra mata untuk menangkap informasi, tetapi siswa bergaya belajar visual kurang mampu menangkap informasi yang disampaikan secara lisan dan lebih menyukai soal yang disertai gambar, (2) siswa bergaya belajar auditorial memiliki kemampuan literasi matematis rendah dan mampu menyelesaikan soal yang disampaikan secara lisan dan diberikan penjelasan singkat, karena siswa bergaya belajar auditorial  dapat menerima informasi dengan baik melalui pendengaran, memiliki kesulitan untuk menyerap informasi dalam bentuk tulisan, serta kesulitan merepresentasikan masalah, (3) siswa bergaya kinestetik memiliki kemampuan literasi matematis rendah, karena tidak mampu menyelesaikan secara penuh semua soal yang diberikan baik soal visual, lisan atau verbal, dan tidak dapat duduk dengan tenang ketika mengerjakan soal.

Abstract

Peserta didik saat ini dituntut untuk memiliki keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Untuk itu, guru harus berperan penting untuk menanamkan HOTS kepada peserta didik. Namun literatur yang ada dalam konteks pengetahuan guru di Indonesia menunjukkan guru masih kesulitan mengembangkan pembelajaran berorientasi HOTS. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan TPACK guru, serta faktor-faktornya yang mempengaruhi TPACK guru dalam pembelajaran berorientasi HOTS. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei untuk mengumpulkan data. Enam belas guru dari sekolah menengah pertama dan sekolah menengah atas di Sulawesi Tenggara berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner. Analisis deskriptif dan tematik dilakukan untuk menganalisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; teknologi yang digunakan untuk pembelajaran berorientasi HOTS adalah Google classroom (83,3%) dan whatsapp (83,3%); secara umum tingkat pengetahuan TPACK guru berkategori baik; (3) secara umum guru belum mengintegrasikan unsur HOTS dalam mata pelajarannya; semua responden mengintegrasikan TPACK di kelas dan setuju bahwa TPACK dapat mendukung pembelajaran berorientasi HOTS. Temuan juga menunjukkan bahwa faktor guru seperti sikap terhadap teknologi, efikasi diri sangat mempengaruhi pengetahuan TPACK guru. Penelitian ini dapat berkontribusi dalam memperluas pemahaman pembaca tentang tingkat pengetahuan TPACK guru serta faktor-faktor yang dapat berkontribusi untuk mendukung pembelajaran berorientasi HOTS di kelas

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) kesalahan-kesalahan yang dilakukan peserta didik kelas VII SMP dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal operasi hitung bilangan bulat pada garis bilangan; (2) Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan peserta didik kelas VII SMP melakukan kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal operasi hitung bilangan bulat pada garis bilangan. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini yaitu: 1) Kesalahan-kesalahan peserta didik kelas VII SMP dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal operasi hitung bilangan bulat pada garis bilangan yaitu kesalahan konsep dan kesalahan prinsip penjumlahan, pengurangan, dan perkalian bilangan bulat; 2) Faktor-faktor penyebab peserta didik kelas VII melakukan kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal operasi hitung bilangan bulat pada garis bilangan adalah: Pengelolaan kelas yang tidak begitu baik, pembelajaran berkelompok yang tidak efektif, dan penjelasan guru dalam memberikan contoh tidak lengkap sehingga peserta didik tidak memahami secara sempurna tentang contoh yang diberikan.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to (1) determine the portrait of the utilization of information and communication technology in online learning at SMA Negeri 1 Pasarwajo, (2) determine the response of SMA Negeri 1 Pasarwajo students to the utilization of information and communication technology in online learning, (3) analyze the implementation of online learning by utilizing information and communication technology at SMA Negeri 1 Pasarwajo. The type of research used in this study is mixed methods, namely research that combines qualitative and quantitative research. The results of this study show (1) online learning is carried out using online learning applications such as WhatsApp LMS, googgle classroom, quiper school and video conferencing with zoom and cloudX and network availability for teachers is sufficient starting from devices, data packages, and network signal connectivity; (2) students of SMA Negeri 1 Pasarwajo have a fairly good response regarding their participation in online learning by utilizing ICT; (3) the implementation of online learning shows that curriculum achievement is only 65%, teachers and students easily get learning supplements through online learning applications, teachers have difficulty in measuring attitudinal and psychomotor aspects, students have difficulty in signal accessibility and limited online learning devices.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is: to see the development of students' collaboration skills in learning mathematics through the Lesson Study approach in the Mathematics Education Study Program. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this research were students of the Mathematics Education Study Program at Halu Oleo University, who were enrolled in the Kapita Selecta Mathematics course. The implementation of this research consists of 3 cycles, and each cycle consists of 3 stages, namely preparation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. The method used in this research consists of 3 stages, namely plan, do, and see. Data collection techniques in this study include two kinds of instruments, namely the main instrument and supporting instruments. The data analysis technique follows the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana analysis model, consisting of three activities that occur simultaneously: data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. The result of this research is the development of students' collaboration skills in learning mathematics through Lesson Study approach in Mathematics Education Study Program. Generally, there is an increase in student learning outcomes in mathematics learning with the Lesson study approach, namely for Cycle 1, average 83.0; Cycle 2, average 78.0; and Cycle 3; average 85.0.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to: (1) Describe the mathematical problem-solving skills of SMK Negeri 2 Kendari grade X students who are taught using the Problem Based Learning learning model with assistance from Geogebra; and (2) ascertain the impact of the Problem Based Learning learning model with assistance from Geogebra on the mathematical problem-solving skills of SMK Negeri 2 Kendari grade X students. The participants in this study were all SMK Negeri 2 Kendari grade X students enrolled in the 2022–2023 academic year. The experimental class in this study was the X TMA class, and the control class was the X TM B class. The findings demonstrated that: (1) the experimental class students' mathematical problem-solving ability, taught using the Geogebra-assisted Problem Based Learning learning model, are in the following categories: excellent, comprising up to 8 students with a percentage of 29.6%; good, comprising up to 9 students with a percentage of 33.3%; sufficient, comprising 6 students with a percentage of 22.2%; poor, comprising up to 3 students with a percentage of 11.1%; and very poor, comprising 1 student with a percentage of 3.7%. The analysis's findings lead to the conclusion that, when it comes to the two-variable linear inequality system, the experimental class's descriptive mathematical problem-solving ability, which was taught using the Problem Based Learning learning model in conjunction with Geogebra, outperformed that of the control class, which was taught using the Problem Based Learning learning model alone. The value of t hitung = 2.591 was acquired from the hypothesis testing findings. It is evident that when tcount is high, H0 is disproved. In summary, students taught using the Geogebra-assisted Problem Based Learning learning model had an average greater level of mathematical problem solving skill than students taught using the Problem Based Learning learning model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the mathematical reasoning abilities of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Kulisusu Utara in solving PISA-based mathematics problems in the content of numbers. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of this study were 3 students from class VIIIB at SMP Negeri 1 Kulisusu Utara, conducted during the 2020/2021 academic year. Data collection techniques included tests, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis, employing the theory of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, which involves data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicated that: Students with high mathematical abilities in solving PISA number content problems were found to have high mathematical reasoning abilities. Students with moderate mathematical abilities in solving PISA number content problems were found to have moderate mathematical reasoning abilities. Students with low mathematical abilities in solving PISA number content problems were found to have moderate mathematical reasoning abilities.
