Abstract

Hypertension is a disease that can harm pregnant women. Hypertension associated with pregnancy is referred to as gestational hypertension. Pregnancy-related hypertension is defined as hypertension that develops after 20 weeks of pregnancy in a mother who is known to have normal blood pressure, or has normal blood pressure, and does not exhibit severe proteinuria or other symptoms of preeclampsia. If the mother's blood pressure rises above 140/90 mmHg at least twice a week after resting, then it is certain that she is suffering from hypertension. 18 When blood pressure increases to 140/90 mmHg during pregnancy, or when systolic and diastolic pressure increase by 30 and 15 mmHg, respectively, above the normal limit, this is called hypertension. Preeclampsia/eclampsia, gestational hypertension, chronic hypertension with preeclampsia, and chronic hypertension are the four forms of hypertension known to occur during pregnancy. Husband's support has a significant impact on fulfilling her physical and emotional needs. This is especially true for first-time mothers because their experience and understanding of pregnancy is different from adult pregnant women. When compared with adult pregnancies, teenage mothers tend to be more aggressive, depressed and anxious. In addition to psychological and emotional states that are influenced by physical changes, mothers who experience a lack of family attention also experience fear, anxiety and anxiety related to childbirth.

Abstract

Early breastfeeding (ASI) in the first days of birth provides many benefits where there is colostrum which is proven to be very rich in antibodies which can increase the baby's immunity. Prelacteal food is given to babies in the first days after birth on the grounds that breast milk (ASI) has not been released so that the first days after birth are a vulnerable period for babies to receive prelacteal food/drinks. Prelacteal foods are dangerous because they can replace colostrum as the baby's earliest food. The impact of prelacteal feeding is that babies may get diarrhea, septicemia (bacterial infection in the blood), and meningitis, babies are more likely to suffer from intolerance to the protein in the formula, and develop allergies such as eczema. Method: this activity begins with the preparation of proposals and administration activities in May 2023. The implementation of this activity is educating mothers about prelacteal feeding to babies aged 0-6 months. Results: 30 participants in this activity were mothers who had babies aged 0-6 months in the village of Bangun Rejo. Abstract

Diaper rash is a complaint of red spots on the genitals and buttocks of babies wearing diapers caused by skin rubbing against diapers (Dwi Maryanti, et al, 2011). Diaper rash often occurs in the area around a baby's buttocks due to the use of diapers that are rarely changed, are too tight, or are used for too long. Usually the rash is not dangerous, but it can cause pain and cause anxiety in the baby and parents. According to a report by the Journal of Pediatrics, there were 54% of babies aged 1 month who experienced diaper rash after using "disposable diapers", which were first made by Victor Miller in 1950 under the name pampers and are popular throughout the world. At first, mothers hoped that their babies would be comfortable and stay dry.but in the end the baby experiences diaper rush (diaper rash) and the incidence of diaper rash in babies who use disposable diapers increases to 61% Diaper rash in Indonesia is a skin problem in infants and children. Diaper rash, according to Dr. Siti Aisah Boediarjo, Sp. KK, is a skin disorder in the form of red, inflamed patches. Sometimes accompanied by hard, scaly skin, nodules, even blisters and blisters, which cause itching and burning in babies, approximately 50% of babies and children who wear diapers have experienced a diaper rush. The method of implementing this activity is: providing education or counseling to mothers who have children and still use diapers, distributing leaflets and explaining the use of diapers so that diaper rash does not occur. This activity begins with the preparation of proposals and activity administration and continues with an assessment of the situation. In August 2021 activities were carried out at the Evie Kec Babalan Clinic, Langkat Regency

Abstract

Adolescence experiences physiological, psychosocial, cognitive, moral and sexual development. Physiological changes in adolescence are the result of hormonal activity under the influence of the central nervous system. Physical differences between the sexes are determined on the basis of primary sex characteristics, namely the internal and external organs that carry out reproductive functions, such as the ovaries, uterus, breasts and penis. puberty and fat accumulation) but do not play a direct role in reproduction (Wong, 2015) Leucorrhoea in medical circles is known as leukore or fluor albus, which is discharge from the vagina. Leucorrhoea is a candida yeast infection in female genitalia and is caused by a yeast-like organism, namely candida albicans. Abstract

Anemia in pregnant women is the main cause of bleeding and infection which is a major factor in maternal death. A woman who experiences bleeding after giving birth can suffer from severe blood deficiency (anemia) and experience long-term health problems. With a rate of 305 per 100,000 live births, Indonesia has a high maternal mortality rate (MMR) when compared to other ASEAN countries. The MMR target is 70 per 100,000 live births in 2030, in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) (Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), 2017; WHO, 2022). Currently, the rate of anemia in pregnant women is still high. Based on 2018 RISKESDAS data, the prevalence of anemia in pregnant women is 48.9%, meaning that 4-5 out of 10 pregnant women suffer from anemia. Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) or Maternal Mortality Ratio (MMR) is an important indicator of the level of public health and is a sensitive indicator in describing the welfare of society in a country. . This research uses a cross-sectional strategy, using numerical data through a retrospective survey with a sample of 35 people. Research Results Based on the results of statistical tests, it was found that p.value = 0.003 and α = 0.05, where the P.value (0.003) < α (0.05) there is a relationship between maternal parity and the incidence of anemia. Based on the results of statistical tests, it was found that p.value = 0.005 and α = 0.05, where the P.value (0.005) < α (0.05), so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between maternal age and the incidence of anemia. Based on the results of statistical tests, it was found that p.value = 0.005 and α = 0.05, where the P.value (0.005) < α (0.05), so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between pregnancy spacing and the incidence of anemia. Based on the results of statistical tests, it was found that p.value = 0.005 and α = 0.05, where the value of P.value (0.005) < α (0.05), so it can be concluded that there is a SEZ status with anemia incidence

Abstract

Preparing for childbirth is one of the most important strategies to reduce the risk of complications for both mother and baby. However, many pregnant women, especially those in their third trimester, do not fully understand the signs of labor, how to deliver a baby, and how to prepare for referrals. Pregnant women about to give birth often experience anxiety due to their inability to cope with the discomfort caused by the mental and physical changes that occur during pregnancy. This community service program aims to improve the readiness of pregnant women in their third trimester for childbirth through independent learning based on educational e-books. This community service activity took place at PMB Shinta, Medan Johor District, Medan City, involving thirty-two expectant mothers. Activities included small group discussions, counseling, distribution of e-books, and prenatal and postnatal examinations for evaluation. The results of this community service program indicated that participants now have a better understanding and are prepared for the labor process. Pregnant women can gain the basic knowledge needed before giving birth through this e-book. The goal of this community service initiative is to improve the readiness of pregnant women in their third trimester for childbirth through independent learning based on educational e-books.
