Abstract

First-year nursing students are required to integrate material with skill laboratories and practice areas, which puts pressure on students who can lead to the emergence of suicidal ideation so that an ability called resilience is needed. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of resilience and the level of suicidal ideation of first year students of D-III Kpeerawatan Blitar. The method used is correlation method with cross sectional design. The sample in this study were 101 D-III Nursing Blitar 1st year students who were taken using the total sampling technique. The instruments used were ARS and SSI questionnaires. The results showed that there was a relationship between the level of resilience and suicidal ideation with a p-value of 0.002. the higher the resilience, the lower the suicidal ideation and vice versa, the lower the resilience, the higher the suicidal ideation.

Abstract

Damage to school infrastructure, systems, and human resources can affect the quality of education. The introduction and provision of knowledge on disaster risk reduction in the education sector needs to be given to school residents in disaster prone areas. The purpose of this research is to know Knowledge of Disaster Safe Education Unit based on 3 pillars of National Disaster Management Agency in Disaster Prone Area II. Descriptive research design. The population of SMKN 1 Nglegok residents who are in disaster prone area II. A sample of 47 school residents with stratified sampling technique. Data collection using questionnaire. The results show that there are still some 41.6 percent of the school's residents have enough knowledge, and very few of the 6.3 percent schoolchildren have less knowledge. This is due to the lack of information and existing school facilities are less supportive and need to improve the experience owned by school residents. Suggestions from the research are expected to provide training or counseling about disaster risk reduction in schools, improve the knowledge of school residents, especially teachers and administrative staff about DRR in schools so as to realize the School of Disaster Safe Education Unit with proper implementation and school residents can increase preparedness in facing disaster becomes better.

Abstract

Anxiety is prone to occur in patients in the intensive care unit. One factor that can reduce anxiety is family support. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between family support and the anxiety level of HCU patients at RSUD Dr. Soedono, East Java Province. This study used descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study were patients admitted to the HCU room at RSUD Dr. Soedono East Java Province in February 2024. The sample used was 30 patients who were determined using purposive sampling technique. The instrument used was a family support questionnaire modified from the Sitanggang questionnaire (2015), while the anxiety level was measured by HARS. Data were analyzed using the Spearman Rank test. The results showed that out of 30 HCU patients at RSUD Dr. Soedono East Java Province, more than half had high family support, while more than half had mild anxiety levels and no anxiety. There is no significant relationship between family support and anxiety level in HCU patients at RSUD dr.Soedono. The anxiety level of patients in the HCU is not only influenced by family support, there are other factors that can affect it such as length of treatment, experience of being treated, level of knowledge and treatment room environment

Abstract

Background : Elderly is someone older than 60 years who experiences several changes. Elderly health problems not only lie in the aspect of chronic or degenerative diseases, but the susceptibility to infection is quite high. Urine and alvi incontinence are problems that are often suffered by the elderly. Natural resources that can be used to develop diapers to reduce skin irritation are banana stems which are processed into powder. Research Objective : this is to develop adult diapers made from banana stem powder for elderly patients. Research Methods : This research design is Research and Development, with research procedures using ADDIE. This research was conducted at Griya Sakinah Nursing Home with 2 respondents and 6 media experts on January 27 - March 15, 2025. The research instruments used were expert validation and field trials. Research Results : this shows that the feasibility of expert validators is 84.23% and respondents are 88.23%. The results of the assessment of adult diaper products made from banana stem powder have met the criteria of being very feasible to use to help elderly patients. Conclusion : It is hoped that this adult diaper product made from banana stem powder can be used as an alternative to prevent skin irritation in the elderly.
