Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the income of tomato farming in Taraitak Satu Village, North Langowan District. This research was conducted for three months from March 2019 to May 2019. The data used in this study were primary data obtained based on interviews with 20 respondents of tomato farmers who were taken by simple random sampling and secondary data obtained from the village office and sub-district offices and literature available in libraries and the internet related to research.Research results show that the average income of tomato farming was Rp. 34,227,279 / planting season with an average of seven harvest seasons. The total revenues was Rp. 47,976,000 with a total cost of Rp. 13,748,721.To obtain a better sale price, farmers are advised to set the planting time so that it is not done simultaneously. In addition, farmers can expand their markets, for example, by selling to supermarkets or outside the region in order to obtain better profits in tomato farming. Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine consumer power over the marketing mix in the Manado Warong Kobong business . This research was conducted in May until July 2019. This research used primary data by means of cousiner to 80 respondents or consumers to fill in then cousiner sheets were collected, processed and then analyzed the return of samples using the accidental sampling method that is the researcher chose who the members the population accidentally meets with researchers thought to be able to provide information that can be needed. The research result showed that consumer satisfaction with the marketing mix in Manado Warong Kobong business is satisfied related to the four variables namely production, price, place and promotion.Keywords: Consumer Satisfaction, Manado Warong Kobong Business

Abstract

Chili is widely consumed by Toluaya people, so it is necessary to study the marketing system of chili, marketing margin and farmer's share in Toluaya Village. The objective of this study is to analyze the marketing margin of chili and farmer's share in Toluaya Village, for three months from August to September 2019. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data obtained through interviews using questionnaires. Sampling using purposive sampling method for farmer respondents and snowball sampling for intermediary traders.The research results showed that the zero-level channel marketing margin was Rp 0 per kilogram. The marketing margin for channel I level is Rp 15,000 per kilogram. The marketing margin for channel II level is Rp 20,000 per kilogram. The marketing margin for channel III level is Rp 50,000 per kilogram. The farmer's share in each of the chili marketing channels in Toluaya Village is obtained by channel zero level of 100%, channel I level of 76.9%, channel II level of 73.3% and channel III level of 54, 6%. In this research, it can be concluded that the marketing margin of chili in Toluaya Village is the biggest at channel III level, because channel III level has the highest level of economic efficiency. The farmer's share received by chili farmers in Toluaya Village, is the largest at the zero level channel, because the zero level channel is the shortest marketing channel for chili and is more efficient technically and economically, because of the percentage margin marketing is lowest and farmer's share is highest.Keywords: Chili, Marketing Margin, Farmer's Share

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine how much the contribution of the ornamental plant business in the yard to family income in Kakaskasen Dua Village, North Tomohon Sub District. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data, The primary data used the census method with 8 respondents. Secondary data were obtained through direct interviews with 8 respondents and related parties to the study using a questionnaire and secondary data were obtained from the internet, the Central Bureau of Statistics of Tomohon City, and various literatures related to this study. The research results showed that the contribution that the ornamental plant business in the yard contributed to family income was 48.3%. The amount of income obtained from the ornamental plant business in the yard has an average of Rp. 3,584,852 and the average income outside the ornamental plant business is Rp. 3,831,250 with a contribution of 51.7%. This shows that the ornamental plant business in the yard has a large contribution to family income.Keywords: Contribution, Income, Ornamental Plant Business, Yard

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the income from the "Cap Tikus" business in Ranolambot Village, West Kawangkoan District, Minahasa. The sampling method used in this research was purposive sampling method. The number of respondents chosen was 20 people who were taken from the 5 existing local community group. The data analysis method used was income analysis.The results showed that the total revenue by all respondents in one month with 12 production of "Cap Tikus" was IDR 84,000,000.- or an average of IDR 4,200,000 per respondent. Meanwhile, the total production cost for all respondents was IDR 34,324,999.99 or an average of IDR 1,716,249.99 per respondent. Therefore, the total income for one month for all respondents was IDR 49,675,000.01 or an average of IDR 2,483,750 per respondent per month.Keywords: income, "Cap Tikus"

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the development strategies of herbal medicinal products at MSMEs (Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises) Makaaruien. This research was conducted from July to August 2020. The data used in this study are primary data. Primary data were obtained from direct interviews with respondents using questionnaires. Sampling method using purposive sampling method, as many as 4 samples based on the level of importance, knowledge, understanding experience. Samples taken are business owners, workers consumers. The analysis used in this study is the SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats) which is formulated in the Internal Factor Analysis Strategy (IFAS) Matrix and the External Factor Analysis Strategy (EFAS) Matrix. The results showed that the MSME strategy of Makaaruien was in quadrant I, which supported aggressive policies, namely the strategy to continue in developing   products with consistent processing without chemicals, because herbal medicines are always sought after by the wider community.Keywords: development strategy,SWOT analysis, herbal medicine, MSME.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of economic growth and the human development index (HDI) on the poverty rate in North Sulawesi Province in 2010-2020 and 2010-2025 after obtaining predicted data based on the previous year's data. This research was conducted in the province of North Sulawesi. This research started from July 2020 to January 2021. This study used secondary data of economic growth, human development index and poverty rate of North Sulawesi Province in 2010-2020. The analytical tool used in this research was multiple linear regression analysis with the method of Ordinary Least Square (OLS) and forecasting using Trend Linear with the semi-average method. The results showed that for the period 2010-2020, simultaneously, economic growth and HDI had no effect on the poverty rate in North Sulawesi Province with a significant value of 0.059. The results of the regression showed that there was an insignificant effect of economic growth on the poverty level. The negative effect was 0.053 percent and a significant value of 0.545 means that economic growth has no significant effect. Meanwhile, HDI on poverty showed a significant effect. The negative effect was 0.282 percent. A significant value of 0.025 indicated  that HDI had a significant effect on the level of poverty. In the period of 2010-2025,  simultaneously, economic growth and HDI had  an effect on the poverty rate in North Sulawesi Province with a significant value of 0.004. The results of the regression showed that there was an insignificant effect of  economic growth on the poverty level. The negative effect was 0.053 percent, with a significant value of 0.437, meaning that economic growth had no significant effect. HDI had  a significant effect on poverty levels. The negative effect was 0.281 percent, with a significant value of 0.002 which means that HDI had a  significant effect  on the poverty level.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the development of the Agropolitan Area of Mondoinding District in South Minahasa Regency. The study was carried out from July to September 2021. The data used came from secondary data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the development of Agropolitan Areas in Modoinding District experienced an increase in many sectors although there were still sectors that did not develop and some even experienced a decline. Land area and agricultural production increased by 99.7% and 99.8%, respectively. Agribusiness infrastructure and facilities, particularly banking, did not experience growth with only 2 banks from 2015 to 2019, while the cooperative sector experienced a decline of 40% and the market sector developed with the addition of 1 building. Public infrastructure and facilities, particularly the clean water sector, increased by 40%, while the lighting sector increased by 8.8%. The transportation sector had developed where all villages in Modoinding District already have asphalt roads. Communication had developed, where all village areas in Modoinding District have received telecommunication channels. The health sector did not develop, where health facilities in Modoinding District were still the same as before, while the education sector increased by 10.8 percent.
