Abstract

Abstract:. Learning to read Bahasa Indonesia at grade IV A SD Negeri 01 Metro Pusat in the implementation still dominate by teachers with Lecture Methods (teacher centered) so the learning process is not optimal, so the students are less interested and not giving attention. This study aims to improve reading skills through the application of language games (catharsis) at grade IV A SD Negeri 01 Metro Pusat. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive through the test and reading skill assessment sheet. Data analysis techniques used are qualitative and quantitative analysis. The result of data analysis explain that the students reading skill on cycle I (74,42%), cycle II (83,72%), increased by 9,3% and on cycle III become (90,70%) so that it increased by 6,98 %.Keywords: skill, reading, language game (catharsis). Abstrak: Pembelajaran membaca bahasa Indonesia di kelas IVA SD Negeri 01 Metro Pusat dalam pelaksanaannya guru masih mendominasi dengan metode ceramah (teacher centered) sehingga proses pembelajarannya belum optimal, akibatnya siswa kurang tertarik dan kurang memperhatikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca melalui penerapan permainan bahasa (katarsis) di kelas IVA SD Negeri 01 Metro Pusat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif melalui lembar tes, dan lembar penilaian keterampilan membaca. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data diperoleh keterampilan membaca siswa pada siklus I (74,42%), siklus II (83,72%), mengalami peningkatan sebesar 9,3% dan siklus III menjadi (90,70%) sehingga mengalami peningkatan sebesar 6,98%.Kata kunci: keterampilan, membaca, permainan bahasa (katarsis).

Abstract

Tanaman tebu merupakan suatu komoditas yang sangat penting karena tebu merupakan penghasil gula. Namun tanaman tanaman tebu sangat rentan terhadap hama penyaki. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui penyakit-penyakit yang merusak tanaman tebu dan akibat yang ditimbulkan oleh hama tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kampung Blang Mancung Kecamatan Ketol Kabupaten Aceh Tengah, peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif. Jenis penelitian yang akan dilakukan yaitu dengan penelitian survey. Data diolah secara deskriptif, artinya data diolah dengan cara menggambarkan temuan-temuan di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penyakit yang ditemukan pada tanaman tebu adalah penyakit blendok, penyakit mosaic, dan penyakit nanas. Jenis kerusakan yang disebabkan oleh penyakit adalah batang tebu berlubang, batang tebu terkikis, dan daun dan batang menghitam. Kata Kunci: Kerusakan, Penyakit, Tebu.

Abstract

Elementary school teacher candidates should be able to develop good teaching materials based on student’s age they teach. In fact, it is frequently found that elementary school teacher candidates write their papers only by copying from books or the internet. It is rarely found that they are able to develop and synthesize the materials they cited with their own vocabulary in their paper. The purpose of this study is to describe the benefits of using the Fry graph formula in analyzing the legibility of materials of PGSD students works which is made for elementary school teaching materials. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. The results of the data analysis revealed student discourse that is not appropriate because of the lower level of legibility is 4 discourses (13.33%), which appropriate to its legibility is 8 discourses (26.67%), and those that are not appropriate because the higher level of legibility is 18 discourses (60%).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki kesulitan membaca dan menulis permulaan pada siswa kelas rendah sekolah dasar melalui pendekatan kajian literatur. Dalam menganalisis fenomena ini, tiga aspek penelitian utama dijelajahi, yaitu strategi pengajaran guru, faktor penyebab kesulitan membaca, dan dampak kurangnya minat belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah kajian literatur, dengan mencari, mengumpulkan, dan menganalisis informasi dari berbagai sumber literatur terkait. Temuan dari kajian literatur menunjukkan bahwa strategi efektif dalam mengatasi kesulitan membaca termasuk bimbingan khusus, perhatian terhadap perkembangan siswa, dan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan. Faktor penyebab kesulitan membaca mencakup aspek internal dan eksternal, sementara kurangnya minat belajar dan dukungan keluarga juga memainkan peran signifikan. Pemahaman mendalam terhadap literatur-literatur ini memberikan kontribusi berharga dalam menyusun gambaran holistik dan mendalam tentang permasalahan kesulitan membaca permulaan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition model assisted by video media on its effect on reading comprehension and critical thinking. With a hypothesis that has a significant effect on students' reading comprehension and critical thinking skills, this research departs from the low reading comprehension ability and critical thinking skills of students at SDN Cihanjawar 02. A quantitative method with a quasi-experimental method is the method used in this research. Meanwhile, the design used is a non-equivalent group by conducting a pretest and posttest. Management techniques are carried out using normality tests, homogeneity tests, t tests and effect sizes. With the results of this research data analysis, there is an influence arising from the use of the Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition model on the ability to read comprehension and critical thinking of fifth grade students at SDN Cihanjawar 02 based on the results of the Independent Sample T test obtained a sig (2-taled) value of 0.025 < 0.05 for reading comprehension ability and 0.010 <0.05 which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. With the influence seen from the effect size test of 0.54 for reading comprehension skills and 0.60 for critical thinking skills, it can be said that the Cooperative Integrated Reading And Compositon model assisted by video media has a moderate effect. Abstract

This research aims to update the research and development (R&D) model by integrating graphic design design methods to improve quality and creativity in textbook development. By modifying the Dick, Carey, & Carey development model and applying the design thinking method approach. The research method focuses on creating innovation through three related stages, namely Needs Identification and Preliminary Research, Conceptual Framework Analysis, and Prototype Development. The research resulted in a modification of the development model that is more responsive and adaptive to contemporary needs in the world of education. With 4 steps the development stages become simpler. Called the Ir-FAN development model: 1) Identification & Research stages of problem identification with in-depth research; 2) Design phase, is the planning and design stage; 3) Reflection activities, implementation and evaluation stages; and 4) Effective value that can be achieved, the final stage is optimization and development.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of parents in creating reading habits in children through positive examples and environmental support. This study uses a literature study method. The information used in this study was collected from various literature sources, such as books, papers, magazines, articles, journals, and theses related to this research topic. The data was analyzed in a qualitative descriptive manner. The results of the analysis show that by providing appropriate reading materials, making reading a daily routine, and providing fun motivation, parents can increase children's interest in reading. Although challenges such as time constraints and the influence of technology can hinder these efforts, the positive impacts of reading habits, such as increased language skills, concentration, and imagination, provide long-term benefits for children's development. Therefore, the role of parents is very vital in cultivating reading activities at home which will have a positive impact on children's academic and emotional development

Abstract

This study aims to investigate initial reading and writing difficulties in lower grade elementary school students through a literature review approach. In analyzing this phenomenon, three main research aspects were explored, namely teachers' teaching strategies, factors causing reading difficulties, and the impact of students' lack of interest in learning. The research method applied is literature review, by searching, collecting and analyzing information from various related literature sources. Findings from the literature review show that effective strategies in overcoming reading difficulties include special guidance, attention to student development, and a pleasant learning atmosphere. Factors causing reading difficulties include internal and external aspects, while lack of interest in learning and family support also play a significant role. An in-depth understanding of these literatures makes a valuable contribution to constructing a holistic and in-depth picture of the problem of beginning reading difficulties.

Abstract

Literacy has been an important foundation in the development of Islamic civilisation since its early days. Scholars have played a central role as custodians, developers and disseminators of knowledge through written works in the form of books. These books not only contain religious teachings such as tafsir, hadith, fiqh, and tasawwuf, but also include general sciences, including science and philosophy. This article is a literature review that aims to examine the ulama's contribution in enlightening the ummah through literacy and highlight the role of kitab as the main medium in the inheritance and internalisation of Islamic values. Data collection techniques were conducted through library research on various primary and secondary sources, such as classical books, scholarly works and scientific journal articles. Data analysis was done descriptively-qualitatively with historical and thematic approaches, to reveal the role of literacy in the social and intellectual transformation of Muslim society. The findings of this study confirm the importance of preserving the Islamic literacy tradition and its actualisation in the modern context as a strategic strategy to educate the ummah, both spiritually and intellectually

Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia mencakup komponen kemampuan berbahasa dan kemampuan bersastra yang meliputi aspek-aspek yaitu keterampilan mendengarkan (menyimak), keterampilan berbicara, keterampilan membaca, dan keterampilan menulis. Untuk mencapai aspek-aspek tersebut, guru harus memilih model pembelajaran yang tepat dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang mempunyai cara belajar siswa aktif dan kreatif adalah model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) untuk mengetahui adanya Pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap hasil belajar siswa, (2) untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perubahan cara belajar siswa dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan aplikasi powtoon terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas V SDN Jelegong 02. Penggunaan aplikasi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam menyimak dongeng pelajaran bahasa Indonesia dengan menggunakan aplikasi YouTube pada pelajaran tematik di sekolah dasar.
