Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi pembelajaran berbasis deep learning di SMPN 25 Pekanbaru, di mana pendekatan ini telah diterapkan secara formal namun masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan praktis. Penelitian ini bertujuan memetakan faktor pendukung dan penghambat yang memengaruhi implementasi melalui empat indikator utama: kompetensi dan kesiapan guru, dukungan institusional, sarana dan lingkungan pembelajaran, serta karakteristik peserta didik. Metode yang dig unakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan pengumpulan data dari seluruh guru IPA melalui angket skala Likert yang dilengkapi wawancara. Analisis statistik deskriptif berdasarkan kategori Arikunto (2010) menunjukkan bahwa seluruh indikator berada pada kategori “baik”: kompetensi dan kesiapan guru 64,6%, dukungan institusional 76%, sarana dan prasarana 64,6%, serta karakteristik dan motivasi peserta didik 64,6%. Dukungan institusional muncul sebagai faktor terkuat, mencerminkan komitmen sekolah yang tinggi. Meski demikian, masih ditemukan beberapa hambatan seperti keterbatasan fasilitas digital, perbedaan kemampuan siswa, dan kebutuhan pelatihan lanjutan. Secara keseluruhan, faktor pendukung lebih dominan dibandingkan faktor penghambat, sehingga implementasi deep learning di SMPN 25 Pekanbaru dinilai cukup kondusif namun tetap memerlukan penguatan kompetensi guru dan pemerataan dukungan teknologi.

Abstract

Penerapan pendekatan deep learning dalam Kurikulum Merdeka masih menghadapi tantangan empiris terkait variasi pemahaman dan penerapan model pembelajaran oleh guru IPA, khususnya pada sekolah yang berada dalam tahap awal implementasi kurikulum. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi model-model pembelajaran yang digunakan guru IPA di SMP Negeri 4 Siak Hulu, faktor pertimbangan pemilihannya, serta keterkaitannya dengan prinsip deep learning. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif yang melibatkan lima guru IPA sebagai subjek penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket tertutup dan wawancara semi-terstruktur, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan deskripsi kualitatif pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman guru terhadap model pembelajaran berada pada kategori baik dengan nilai rata-rata 84,8%. Model Problem Based Learning dan Project Based Learning merupakan model yang paling dominan diterapkan karena dinilai efektif meningkatkan keaktifan dan pemahaman siswa serta sesuai dengan keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran. Sebaliknya, penerapan Discovery Learning dan Inquiry Learning masih terbatas akibat keterbatasan sarana dan tantangan pengelolaan kelas. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa guru telah menerapkan model pembelajaran yang sejalan dengan Kurikulum Merdeka, namun peningkatan kompetensi guru dan dukungan fasilitas masih diperlukan untuk mengoptimalkan implementasi deep learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi model-model pembelajaran yang diterapkan oleh guru IPA di SMP Negeri 25 Pekanbaru serta menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi pemilihan dan penerapannya di kelas. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan data diperoleh dari lima orang guru melalui angket skala Likert dan wawancara terstruktur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki pemahaman yang sangat baik mengenai berbagai model pembelajaran, termasuk Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Project-Based Learning (PjBL), Discovery Learning, dan Inquiry Learning. Dalam implementasinya, guru lebih sering menggunakan Discovery Learning dan PjBL karena dinilai sesuai dengan karakteristik materi dan kebutuhan belajar peserta didik. Pemilihan model pembelajaran dipengaruhi oleh tujuan pembelajaran, kesiapan siswa, kompleksitas materi, serta ketersediaan sumber belajar. Guru juga melakukan evaluasi dan refleksi secara rutin melalui analisis hasil belajar serta diskusi dengan rekan sejawat. Secara keseluruhan, praktik pembelajaran IPA di SMP Negeri 25 Pekanbaru telah berjalan dengan baik, meskipun peningkatan fasilitas dan pengembangan profesional berkelanjutan tetap diperlukan untuk mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka secara optimal.

Abstract

Kecamatan Kuala Kampar memiliki potensi limbah sabut kelapa yang sangat melimpah seiring dengan tingginya produksi kelapa, namun pemanfaatannya hingga saat ini masih terbatas dan cenderung belum memberikan nilai tambah ekonomi maupun manfaat lingkungan secara optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan teknis, sikap peduli lingkungan, serta wawasan peserta didik melalui pelatihan pembuatan cocopeat berbasis potensi lokal. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif berbasis pelatihan (participatory training approach) dengan tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Madrasah Aliyah Kuala Kampar dengan melibatkan 32 siswa yang dipilih secara purposive. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket untuk mengukur aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada berbagai aspek. 1) Aspek  kognitif, tanggapan  peserta   pengetahuan  mereka  meningkat  (94%).  2) Aspek afektif, tanggapan peserta pelatihan mampu menumbuhkan sikap peduli (84%). 3) Relevansi pelatihan dengan pembelajaran di madrasah (integrasi kurikulum) tanggapan peserta ada revansi (78%), 4) Peluang Pengembangan Kewirausahaan (Aspek Green Entrepreneurship)  (78%). 5). Aspek Keberlanjutan & Keberterimaan Program, tanggapan  peserta pelatihan  memberikan manfaat pada mereka (80%).  Secara keseluruhan, pelatihan ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai transfer keterampilan teknis, tetapi juga sebagai pendekatan pendidikan transformatif yang mengintegrasikan dimensi kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik secara holistik.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a teaching material module on the diversity of Siang trees in Pelalawan Regency, Riau for biology subjects in class X SMAN. This research is a type of development research (Research and Development) with the development of the Plomp 2013 method. The subjects of this research are the people of Pelalawan Regency, Riau and the subjects of the teaching materials are class X students at SMAN Bandar Petalangan, SMAN Bunut, and SMAN Pangkalan Kuras. Research data was obtained from validation sheets assessed by material experts, learning experts, learning media experts, and biology teachers, as well as response questionnaires obtained from the results of limited trials from students. The results of this research show that the quality of the validity of the teaching material module based on validation results by material experts is in the very valid category with an average percentage of 87.69% (very valid), the validation results from learning experts get an average percentage of 91.76% (very valid), validation results from learning media experts got an average percentage of 94% (very valid), and validation results by three biology teachers got an average of 90.44% (very valid), and test results on students got an average of The average percentage is 90.11% (very practical), based on these several categories, it can be concluded that the learning media developed is very valid and can be used as teaching material that can help students' learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the level of practicality of a Project-Based Learning (PjBL)–based electronic student worksheet (e-LKPD) on biotechnology material for tenth-grade senior high school students. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach adapted from the Plomp model, with a focus on the assessment phase, particularly the practicality evaluation. The research was conducted in two schools, namely SMA Negeri 1 Tambang and SMA Negeri 2 Kampar Kiri Tengah, in Riau Province, Indonesia. Data were collected from 49 students, two biology teachers, and two observers using practicality questionnaires, learning implementation observation sheets, interview guidelines, and documentation. The data were analyzed using both quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques. The results indicate that the practicality level of the e-LKPD, as assessed by students, reached an average score of 83%, categorized as very practical, while teachers’ assessments reached 86%, also categorized as very practical. The implementation of learning using the e-LKPD achieved 100% (very good category) based on student responses and 95% (very good category) based on teacher responses. Observers reported an average implementation score of 94%, categorized as very good. These findings suggest that the PjBL-based e-LKPD is practical for use in biotechnology learning at the senior high school level. Furthermore, it supports the development of 21st-century skills, including critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration, through project-based learning activities.

Abstract

This community service program aims to integrate a green project through the production of Tatakura (Takakura Home Method) compost into the school curriculum as a form of environmental education and sustainable learning. The program was implemented at SMPN 10 Pekanbaru and involved 25 students and four science teachers through stages of socialization, hands-on compost production, mentoring, and the application of the compost to school plants. The activity employed a Participatory Action Research approach that emphasized the active involvement of both teachers and students. Evaluation was conducted using learning achievement tests, environmental awareness attitude questionnaires, and partner satisfaction surveys. The data were analyzed descriptively by comparing mean scores and achievement percentages. The results indicate an improvement in students’ average scores from 84.8 to 87.2, an environmental awareness level of 88%, and partner satisfaction rates of 100% among teachers and 97% among students. These findings demonstrate that the program is effective in supporting the integration of environmental education and the implementation of Education for Sustainable Development.

Abstract

Ecology learning is still often taught conventionally with a focus on rote memorization, resulting in insufficient training of students' critical thinking skills in addressing contextual environmental problems. This study offers novelty by integrating an eco-enzyme production project as a solution for managing organic school waste with a Deep Learning approach into the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model, an area that has not been widely studied in junior high school (SMP) science education. This study aims to determine the effect of project-based science learning using eco-enzymes with a Deep Learning approach on students' critical thinking skills in ecology material at SMP Negeri 25 Pekanbaru. This study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method using a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of two seventh-grade classes selected through purposive sampling, one as the experimental class and one as the control class. Data were collected through written tests in the form of pretests and posttests, then analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U Test after the data were found not to be fully normally distributed. The results showed that the mean posttest score of the experimental class was 86.52, higher than that of the control class at 76.08, with an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, along with an effect size of 0.602, indicating an effect in the large category. These findings provide a scientific contribution in the form of empirical evidence that integrating real environmental issue-based projects with Deep Learning principles can serve as an effective strategy for training critical thinking skills in ecology material. Practically, this study implies the need for science teachers to develop contextual projects based on school environmental problems as an alternative learning approach that not only improves cognitive learning outcomes but also fosters students' environmental awareness as a foundation for 21st-century skills.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in biotechnology materials caused by the use of teaching materials that have not been able to encourage active involvement of students in the learning process. One of the alternatives that can be used to overcome these problems is the implementation of project-based biotechnology Electronic Worksheets (E-LKPD). This study aims to determine the effectiveness of project-based biotechnology E-LKPD on the learning outcomes of class X students at SMAN 3 Siak Hulu, Kampar Regency, Riau. The research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi experiment method through a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class which each amounted to 39 students and was selected using a simple random sampling technique. The research instrument is in the form of learning outcome tests that have met the validity and reliability tests. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and inferentially through normality tests, homogeneity tests, Independent Samples t-Test, and effect size analysis (Cohen's d) using IBM SPSS Statistics 26. The results showed that there was a significant difference in learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class with a value of Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.001 (p < 0.05). The effect size value (Cohen's d) of 0.813 shows that the use of project-based biotechnology E-LKPD has a great influence on improving student learning outcomes. Thus, it can be concluded that project-based biotechnology E-LKPD is effective in improving student learning outcomes in biotechnology materials at SMAN 3 Siak Hulu, Kampar Regency, Riau.
