Abstract

Program Pengembangan Usaha Produk Intektual Kampus (PPUPIK) Pusat Produksi Benih Tanaman Bersertifikat Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar pada masa pandemi Covid 19 tetap melakukan aktivitas, namun aktivitas dilakukan di rumah karena adanya penerapan Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) di Kota Makassar.  Kegiatan promosi dan pemasaran produk PPUPIK menggunakan media cetak dan media elektronik. Jenis media cetak yang digunakan yaitu : xbanner, brosur, buku, dan koran. Media elektronik yaitu : video dan internet. Xbanner dipajang di ruang depan kantor PPUPIK dan dipajang pada stand pameran saat mengikuti pameran. Brosur dibagikan pada pengunjung selama kegiatan pameran. Buku disimpan diperpustakaan kampus dan dipajang saat pameran. Publikasi kegiatan pada koran Tribun Timur. Media elektronik berupa video telah diunggah ke YouTube dengan judul cara memproduksi benih jagung hibrida. Penjualan secara langsung selama pandemi tidak dilakukan, penjualan hanya melalui internet. Pengiriman produk menggunakan jasa angkutan on line untuk  wilayah Makassar dan sekitarnya sedangkan untuk jarak jauh menggunakan  jasa pengiriman barang seperti kantor pos. Metode Pembayaran dilakukan melalui transfer setelah barang diterima konsumen.

Abstract

Industri Pariwisata merupakan salah satu investasi berkepanjangan, salah satu industri yang menyamai level income property adalah pariwisata oleh sebab itu pelaku wisata sangat banyak yang terlibat dan terjung langsung berpartisipasi pada hilirisasi pariwisata. Destinasi wisata kota-kota yang berada di Ternate memiliki potensi besar bagi sistem ekonomi global, tentunya akan mengundang banyak aktivitas wisatawan mancanegara (wisman). Peran pendidikan di Universitas merupakan penyanggah utama guna menghasilkan SDM yang mumpuni dalam melancarkan roda pariwisata di negeri ini. Sekolah Tinggi Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (STKIP) Kie Raha Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris untuk kali pertama tahun 2022 menjadikan mata kuliah Tourism sebagai salah satu program mata kuliah pilihan berdasarkan kurikulum KKNI. Dalam pengajaran mata kuliah ini masih sangat minim referensi berbasis kearifan budaya lokal oleh sebab itu salah satu alasan kenapa mengangkat topik pemberdayaan objek wisata di Ternate agar supaya bisa mengembangkan produk materi ini sebagai bahan belajar untuk mahasiswa sebagai calon pelaku wisata selain daripada menjadi calon guru saja. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan yang terdiri dari analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Analisis kebutuhan didasarkan pada diskusi mendalam dengan dosen untuk membuat prototipe pembelajaran kemudian dilakukan uji coba untuk mendapatkan desain pembelajaran dengan melakukan pretest-postest mahasiswa PBI STKIP Kie Raha. Dalam pengumpulan data peneliti menggunakan angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Kuesioner diberikan kepada 30 mahasiswa sebagai sampel tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Bahan dan instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini divalidasi oleh para ahli yang terkait dengan bidangnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar pariwisata berbasis potensi objek wisata lokal meningkatkan prestasi belajar dan pemahaman English for Tourism mahasiswa STKIP Kie Raha. Berbagai bahan ajar dan topik objek wisata dan desain baru juga telah meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman mahasiswa. Para dosen dan mahasiswa STKIP Kie Raha menilai bahwa bahan ajar English for Tourism berbasis potensi objek wisata lokal baik untuk diterapkan dalam proses belajar mengajar untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman mahasiswa.

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to find out whether the identification table media in official letters to improve the students™ writing in formal letter and to know the difficulties of the students™ deals with in writing formal letter. Writing is an activity to express feelings, ideas, ideas, or opinions in writing aimed at others by paying attention to linguistic rules indirectly (Andira, Adnan, & Yamin, 2017). One of the important functions of writing skills is the ability to write formal letters ( (Sitiulwiah & Baisu, 2018)). Formal letter is a letter used for formal purposes by certain parties, be it individuals, institutions, organizations, or certain agencies to communicate with each other formally ( (Suprapto, 2018). The research used in this research is non-experimental quantitative research that uses descriptive methods. The populations in this research were the students of English Department; the sample of this research was 15 students in fifth semester. . To collect the data, the researcher used documentation and interview. The data is analyzed by using the thematic content analysis. The result of this research, It can be seen from the students™ scoring of post training test is higher than pre training test; there is an improvement of students™ writing formal letter by using identification table media. Beside the students™ score, the students also give the good responses in writing formal letters using identification table media. The students™ difficulties in writing formal letter can be help by using identification table media

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pengurus Kelompok Tani Hutan (KTH) Lamperangan dan Kelompok Sadar Wisata (POKDARWIS) KABBAH dalam melakukan pencatatan usaha dan pembukuan dasar sebagai fondasi perencanaan dan pengembangan usaha yang lebih akuntabel dan berkelanjutan. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi kedua mitra adalah belum adanya sistem pembukuan yang terstruktur serta rendahnya pemahaman terkait fungsi dan teknik pencatatan keuangan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Desa Kabba, Kecamatan Minasatene, Kabupaten Pangkajene dan Kepulauan dengan pendekatan pelatihan partisipatif, praktik langsung, serta pendampingan intensif pasca-pelatihan. Materi pelatihan mencakup pengenalan jenis-jenis pembukuan dasar, pencatatan pemasukan dan pengeluaran, serta penyusunan laporan sederhana. Format pembukuan disesuaikan dengan aktivitas mitra baik di bidang pertanian maupun pariwisata. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test, serta kemampuan peserta dalam mengisi format pembukuan secara mandiri. Pendampingan lanjutan juga mendorong perubahan perilaku dalam pengelolaan keuangan kelompok, dengan mulai diterapkannya sistem pencatatan rutin.Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap tata kelola organisasi mitra dan membuka peluang akses terhadap program pengembangan usaha dari pihak eksternal. Dengan demikian, pendampingan ini berkontribusi dalam memperkuat kelembagaan ekonomi komunitas berbasis pencatatan yang akuntabel dan transparan. Kata kunci: Buku KAS, pariwisata, usaha tani. ABSTRACT This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of the administrators of the Lamperangan Forest Farmers Group (KTH) and the KABBAH Tourism Awareness Group (POKDARWIS) in conducting business records and basic bookkeeping as a foundation for more accountable and sustainable business planning and development. The main problems faced by both partners are the lack of a structured bookkeeping system and a low understanding of the functions and techniques of financial recording. This activity was carried out in Kabba Village, Minasatene District, Pangkajene and Kepulauan Regency with a participatory training approach, direct practice, and intensive post-training mentoring. The training materials included an introduction to basic bookkeeping types, recording income and expenses, and preparing simple reports. The bookkeeping format was adapted to the partners' activities in both agriculture and tourism. The implementation results showed an increase in participants' understanding based on the pre-test and post-test results, as well as the participants' ability to fill out the bookkeeping format independently. Follow-up mentoring also encouraged behavioral changes in group financial management, with the introduction of a routine record-keeping system. This activity had a positive impact on the governance of partner organizations and opened up opportunities for access to external business development programs. Thus, this mentoring contributed to strengthening community economic institutions based on accountable and transparent record-keeping. Keywords: Cash book, tourism, farming.

Abstract

Listening is a complex and active mental process that involves perception, attention, cognition, and memory.The objective of this research are to find out whether the implementation of mindful experiential learning to improves the student’s listening comprehension and to find out the student’s experience toward the implementation of mindful experiential learning in teaching intensive listening. This research was quantitative research namely experimental design, through quasi-experimental. The researchers used worksheet and interview to collect data. The data obtained from the students' worksheets were analyzed to measure the students' listening comprehension level; the researchers used Google Form to carry out interviews. The data showed that the students' listening effectiveness before and after the treatment is significantly different. It was found in post-test students was higher than the pre-test, it proved that the use of Mindful Experiential Learning in teaching extensive listening can improve the students’ listening comprehension. While the results of the test shown that the significance is 0.096 this value is higher than the level of significance for one tailed-test (0.048). The significance of Using Mindful Experiential Learning for the teacher will apply it as an alternative method especially in teaching English and for the students can be more motivated to practice listening or their motivational function to improve their listening comprehension

Abstract

The aim of this research was to know about how the students’ reading comprehension can be improve by using pre questioning method at the second grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Mangoli. In fact, based on the result of pre observation, the students of SMP Negeri 1 Mangoli  have some problems in reading. They got lacks in vocabulary mastery, missed understanding, and they still translate word by word. The setting of this research was SMP Negeri 1 Mangoli. It consist six classes, each classes consist of 22 students. So the total number of population are 138 students. The subject of this research were the second grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Mangoli, they were 22 students. this research used classroom action research. Based on the result of the implementation of pre questioning technique to improve students’ reading comprehension in the second grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Mangoli, the researcher concluded that the use of pre questioning technique can improve the students’ reading comprehension. The students’ result in cycle I, it was showed that just 5 students reach the result were success or in other word just 5 of 22 students pass the passing grade (70). While there were 17 of 22 students got the score under the passing grade. While, the students’ result in cycle II, there were 20 of 22 students  reached the result were success or in other word 20 students pass the passing grade (70). While just two students got the score under the passing grade.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pelatihan pembukuan keuangan untuk pembuatan kompos dan Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) sangat penting dalam mendukung keberlanjutan usaha berbasis lingkungan dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Manajemen keuangan yang baik memungkinkan kelompok usaha untuk mengelola modal, mencatat arus kas, dan mengevaluasi keuntungan secara lebih sistematis, sehingga usaha dapat berkembang secara berkelanjutan.Pelatihan pembukuan keuangan untuk pembuatan kompos dan Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) dilaksanakan dengan tujuan meningkatkan kemampuan manajemen keuangan kelompok Wanita Osok yang berlokasi di Jalan Osok, Aimas, Kecamatan/Distrik Aimas, Kabupaten Sorong, Papua Barat Daya. Permasalahan utama adalah kurangnya pengetahuan terkait pembukuan yang efektif, mengakibatkan kurang optimalnya pengelolaan usaha kompos dan POC mereka. Kegiatan ini melibatkan sosialisasi, penyuluhan, dan praktikal dengan 21 anggota kelompok wanita. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan kemampuan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan softskill dalam pengelolaan keuangan sebesar 80%. Selain itu, terjadi peningkatan nilai ekonomis usaha kompos dan POC dengan efisiensi produksi dan kemampuan pencatatan yang lebih baik. Pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat mendukung keberlanjutan usaha organik kelompok wanita Osok dalam meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga dan kesejahteraan anggota.Abstract: Financial bookkeeping training for composting and Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) is very important in supporting the sustainability of environmentally-based businesses and improving community welfare. Good financial management allows business groups to manage capital, record cash flow, and evaluate profits more systematically, so that businesses can develop sustainably..Financial bookkeeping training for making compost and Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) was carried out with the aim of improving the financial management capabilities of the Osok Women's group located on Jalan Osok, Aimas, Aimas District/District, Sorong Regency, Southwest Papua. The main problem is a lack of knowledge regarding effective bookkeeping, resulting in less than optimal management of their compost and POC businesses. This activity involved socialization, counseling and practical work with 21 women's group members. Evaluation is carried out through pre-test and post-test to measure improvement in ability. The results show an increase in soft skills in financial management by 80%. Apart from that, there has been an increase in the economic value of the compost and POC business with production efficiency and better recording capabilities. It is hoped that this training can support the sustainability of the Osok women's group's organic business in increasing family income and members' welfare.
