Abstract

A Digital Image may have important information in it where this confidential information should not be seen by unauthorized people. Information in a digital image can be easily remembered by others compared to information in the form of text. For this reason, images containing information must be encrypted using cryptography, but encoding the image is of course not enough to protect the information contained in it because the key may be known by outsiders.To maintain the confidentiality of information from digital images, digital images will be encoded using the IDEA algorithm, but the level of security of the algorithm should be improved. Therefore, to improve the quality of digital image security, the IDEA algorithm key is first modified using a Multiplicative Random Number Generator.Through the IDEA algorithm process which is quite complicated, coupled with the previously modified key using the Multiplicative Random Number Generator, it is hoped that it can improve the quality of the security of confidential information encoded in a digital image, so that the information contained in the digital image does not leak to it. irresponsible party.Keywords: Digital Image, Modification, Cryptography, IDEA, Multiplicative Random Number Generator.

Abstract

Data is important and has a very important role in the activities of computer use. In general, the size of data that is at this time has a very large size. So at the time of sending large data through the network would lead to waste in the use of network resources when the data is accessed by other users and make the storage media more efficient in storing the data. In this study used J-BIT compression algorithm to reduce the size of text files, thus reducing the file size on storage media.

Abstract

Mers Cov virus or often referred to as Covid-19 is a very language virus that can damage the respiratory system in humans. This virus works very quickly and is able to develop and reproduce itself in the human body if the handling process is not fast. Various symptoms that can be caused by this virus attack are causing symptoms of fever, flu and shortness of breath so that it can cause people who have been infected with the virus to die. An expert system is a field of science in which a person's knowledge or expert will be stored in the system to make it easier to consult on the symptoms caused by the Mers Cov virus. The Dempster Shafer method is a method that works in the representation, combination or combination and distribution of uncertainty, where this theory has an institute nature according to the thinking pattern of an expert based on strong mathematics. This expert system is able to produce the same information as the decision of an expert who is able to diagnose someone whether the virus is infected with Mers Cov or not. With this expert system, it will make it easier to conduct consultations related to the symptoms of the mers cov virus virus The success rate of the Dhampster Shafer Method in diagnosing patients infected with Mers Cov Virus has a percentage of 0.8 or 8%.

Abstract

Abstract: In today's technological developments, digital images are a medium that is often used to store a person's identity. Digital images are currently widely used for data security needs. On the other hand, images can also be used as a medium for tapping data. Today's digital media provide many things in manipulating and changing the information contained in these images. In this study, the authors conducted a study to examine similarities in digital images so that it could be seen whether the information was authentic or not. detecting image similarities can help find out information whether the image is the same as the original object or not. The method used in this research is the Eigen Face method. The face eigen method is a method that can be used to check and match the similarities of an image. With the eigenface value, Figure 1, Figure 2, Figure 3, it can be determined that with other eigenface values can be determined based on the eigenface matrix values obtained from each image. Based on the values obtained from Figures 1, 2, and 3, it can be concluded that the eigenface method is able to present facial similarities with a presentation value of 80%.            Keywords: Eigenface; Face Recognation; Images; Images Processing  Abstrak: Dalam perkembangan teknologi saat ini, gambar digital merupakan media yang sering digunakan untuk menyimpan identitas seseorang. Gambar digital saat ini banyak digunakan untuk kebutuhan keamanan data. di sisi lain, gambar juga dapat digunakan sebagai media penyadapan data. Media digital saat ini menyediakan banyak hal dalam memanipulasi dan mengubah informasi yang terdapat pada gambar tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini penulis melakukan penelitian untuk menelaah kemiripan pada citra digital sehingga dapat diketahui apakah informasi tersebut otentik atau tidak. Mendeteksi kemiripan citra dapat membantu mengetahui informasi apakah citra tersebut sama dengan objek aslinya atau tidak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Eigen Face. Metode eigen wajah merupakan metode yang dapat digunakan untuk mengecek dan mencocokkan kemiripan suatu citra. Dengan nilai eigenface, Gambar 1, Gambar 2, Gambar 3, dapat ditentukan bahwa dengan nilai eigenface lainnya dapat ditentukan berdasarkan nilai matriks eigenface yang diperoleh dari masing-masing citra. Berdasarkan nilai yang diperoleh dari Gambar 1, 2, dan 3, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode eigenface mampu menghadirkan kemiripan wajah dengan nilai presentasi 80%.. Kata kunci: Citra; Eigenface; Pengolahan Citra Digital; Pengenalan Wajah

Abstract

An expert system is a technique of artificial intelligence that uses certainty techniques to solve problems. There are several techniques that can be used to solve the problem of uncertainty, including the certainty factor method and the mathematical theory of Dempster Shafer. Both methods and techniques can be applied to solve expert system problems. However, each method has advantages and disadvantages in determining the diagnosis. In the expert system, there are 2 values ​​used for the diagnosis process, including the expert value taken from the expert hypothesis and the user value or evidence which is the value obtained based on the facts of an event. Dempster Shafer theory can only use the evidence value in determining the density value, while the certainty factor method can use evidence and hypothesis values. Thus, the combination made to overcome the weakness of one method by using the advantages of the other method is expected to produce a better certainty value.

Abstract

Research conducted by students or lecturers is a form of creativity and also a sense of sharing knowledge and experience with others. Research for a lecturer or lecturer is something that must be done by the lecturer because it is part of the lecturer's duties. Research for students is a step that must be carried out by every student at the time of completing studies in each study program that is being carried out. The form of research produced by students and lecturers is in the form of scientific articles. Scientific articles which are the result of research by lecturers and students will be published in certain journals depending on the researcher. Before the research of lecturers and students is published in a journal, the article needs to be checked first to avoid plagiarism in the research. Budi Darma University always has problems with that checking every article being researched by lecturers and students. This study will discuss how the processes and stages are carried out in checking lecturers and students. This research will produce an application that can be used by Budi Darma University in checking scientific articles. The results of checking plagiarism with the Turbo Boyer algorithm can detect more than 75%

Abstract

Underwater images often experience disturbances such as imperfect noise and noise which can result in capture results being too dark or too bright, blurred or even less sharp, which will result in very poor image quality. Modified Median Filter is a development of a noise detection algorithm based on a simple concept, namely if a pixel belongs to a uniform area, then it is close in color to a neighboring pixel, then it is not corrected, if there is nothing close to a neighboring pixel, then noise is detected then the pixel value is replaced with the median of the evaluated window. Image quality is measured by means of two magnitudes, namely MSE (Mean Square Error) and PSNR (Peak Signal to Noise Ration) by comparing MSE and MNSR values to obtain results and improve image quality.

Abstract

In the Sudirejo-I Subdistrict, an election for the best neighborhood head will be held every year, this is intended as a reward for the neighborhood head for his duties in his area and is expected to be a motivation for each neighborhood head. Generally, the selection of the best kepling is done by selecting several neighborhood heads based on several criteria determined by the kelurahan and the election results are approved by the lurah. So far, the kelurahan selects criteria that have been determined manually and is quite time-consuming, the results obtained are also less than optimal. Based on the problems described above, a Decision Support System (SPK) is needed that can help with the problem of selecting the best neighborhood head in the Sudirejo-I Village because in a decision support system an effective and optimal decision will be produced. Many methods can be used in decision support systems, one of which is the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method. The ARAS method is a multi-criteria decision-making method based on the concept of ranking using a utility degree by comparing the overall index value of each alternative to the overall optimal alternative index value. In its implementation, the decision support system in selecting the best splitter in the Sudirejo-I Village by implementing the ARAS method is considered very effective because it is able to produce a ranking of the value of each attribute, so that the selection results are more systematic and objective

Abstract

SMA NEGERI 1 STM Hilir is one of the public schools that is domiciled on Jln Pendidikan Dusun 1, Talun Kenas Village, STM Hilir District, Deli Serdang Regency. Data processing at this school already uses the Microsoft Excel application but can only be operated by the school admin. Some of the teachers at SMA Negeri 1 STM Hilir still depend on admin staff to process their student grade data, thus making admin staff sometimes experience difficulties. The cause of this is due to the lack of teacher knowledge in utilizing/using the Microsoft Excel application in processing data. So through this community service activity the Team hopes to be able to provide knowledge related to the use of Microsoft Excel to teachers of SMA Negeri 1 STM Hilir so that these teachers are no longer dependent on the admin at school.

Abstract

Sudirejo-I Village, Medan City within a certain period of time determines the recipients of the Family Hope Program (PKH) assistance to its citizens. Providing cash assistance to the poor who require them to follow the requirements set by the Family Hope Program, namely sending their children to an education, and carrying out regular visits to health facilities for children aged 0 to 6 years, pregnant women and postpartum mothers. However, the provision of PKH social assistance at the Medan City Social Service is still not optimal. Because at the time of selecting the recipients of PKH assistance, there was no supporting system so that at the time of the selection process it was still using estimates and there was no calculation at the time of selecting the recipients of the assistance. So many residents protested because they should be more deserving of PKH assistance. The results of this study aim to create a Decision Support System in the provision of PKH social assistance using the ARAS method, which is one method that supports in helping to determine the eligibility of beneficiaries of the Family Hope Program (PKH), therefore a Decision Support System is needed. With this Decision Support System, it is expected to be able to minimize the occurrence of wrong targets that often arise in the selection process, the results of this study get the highest score obtained by A11 with a total value of 0.8648.
