Abstract

This study aims to describe the acculturation of Hadith and local culture in the tradition of slaughtering animals at death ceremonies preserved by the Padang Bolak Community, as part of a religious system that reflects the community's understanding of Hadith. This research is a field study using qualitative methods with the framework of living hadith theory. Research findings show that this tradition is a societal manifestation of the hadith that explains the Apostle's command, to feed the family of Ja'far bin Abi Talib on the day he was martyred at the battle of Mu'tah. Several hadiths became the theological basis for the implementation of this tradition, including the narrations of Abu Dawud (3132), Tirmidhi (998) Ibn Majah (1610) Ahmad (3: 280) from Abdullah bin Ja'far about the Apostle's command to make food for the family of Ja'far bin Abi Talib. This study concludes that the tradition of animal slaughter in the Padang Bolak community is an indirect reflection of the understanding of the hadith regarding the hadith of feeding the Ja'far family.

Abstract

Wakaf sebagai instrumen ekonomi syariah memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, terutama jika dikelola secara produktif. Namun, peran nazir sebagai pengelola wakaf seringkali belum optimal akibat keterbatasan pengetahuan, manajemen, dan strategi pengembangan aset. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas nazir wakaf di Kecamatan Panyabungan dalam mengelola aset wakaf secara produktif melalui pendampingan, pelatihan, dan penyusunan model pengelolaan yang berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi dan pelatihan manajemen wakaf. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman nazir mengenai prinsip pengelolaan wakaf produktif, kemampuan perencanaan bisnis syariah, serta penyusunan laporan keuangan yang transparan. Dampak jangka panjang dari program ini diharapkan dapat mendorong pemanfaatan aset wakaf untuk usaha produktif seperti pertanian, perdagangan, atau properti, sehingga memberikan manfaat ekonomi berkelanjutan bagi masyarakat. Dengan demikian, optimalisasi peran nazir wakaf menjadi kunci utama dalam mewujudkan wakaf sebagai penggerak ekonomi umat di Kecamatan Panyabungan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Pattani is one of the Muslim majority areas in Thailand, there are many scholars who are influential in the religious field. Among them are Sheikh Abdullah bin Abdul Mubin, Sheikh Wan Hasan bin Wan Ishak and those who appeared in the 20th century were Dr. Jihad Fathullah, as for the purpose of this study is to determine the contribution of these scholars in the field of Hadith. Therefore the authors examine their works, relevant previous research, as well as various literacies that discuss the thoughts of the three scholars. The result of this research is knowledge about the contribution of Abdullah bin Abdul Mubin in the field of hadith study is to translate the book Tanbih al-Gafilin and he is the first translator of the book Tanbih al-Gafilin into Malay, the contribution of Syeikh Wan Hasan bin Wan Ishak is writing the book of Hidayat. al-Mukhtar, a translation of the Hadith Arba'in and also wrote a translation of the book Ayyuha al-Walad by Imam al-Gazali, while Dr. Jihad Fathullah made a monumental work, namely, Syarah Bulug al-Maram min Adillat al-Ahkam a book of syarah Hadith from the book Bulug al-Maram. ABSTRAK Pattani adalah salah satu wilayah mayoritas Muslim yang terdapat di Negara Thailand, terdapat banyak ulama yang berpengaruh dalam bidang keagamaan. Adapun diantaranya adalah Syeikh Abdullah bin Abdul Mubin, Syekh Wan Hasan bin Wan Ishak dan yang muncul di abad ke 20 adalah Dr. Jihad Fathullah, adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kontribusi ulama-ulama tersebut di bidang Hadis. Oleh karena itu penulis meneliti karya karya mereka, penelitian terdahulu yang relevan, serta berbagai literasi yang membahas tentang pemikiran ketiga ulama tersebut. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pengetahuan tentang kontribusi Abdullah bin Abdul Mubin di bidang kajian hadis adalah membuat terjemah kitab Tanbih al-Gafilin dan dia merupakan penerjemah kitab Tanbih al-Gafilin yang pertama kedalam bahasa Melayu, kontribusi Syeikh Wan Hasan bin Wan Ishak adalah menulis kitab Hidayat al-Mukhtar, sebuah terjemahan dari Hadis Arba‘in dan juga menulis terjemah dari kitab Ayyuha al-Walad karya Imam al-Gazali, sedangkan Dr Jihad Fathullah membuat sebuah karya monumentalnya yaitu, Syarah Bulug al-Maram min Adillat al-Ahkam sebuah kitab syarah Hadis dari kitab Bulug al-Maram.

Abstract

The principle of Islamic education is the main basis for human beings to carry out their main duties on earth either as caliph or position as a servant. As a caliph in charge of managing the earth, it is necessary to have several principles that become the basis or foundation in its implementation. So the way to obtain these principles is through Islamic education. Some principles of education, if traced from the development of early Islam as contained in the hadith of the Prophet, although the explanations are still very general, the Prophet, peace be upon him, has talked about them a lot. Both about principles in seeking knowledge and when conveying knowledge which is part of the educational process. With the principle of Islamic education based on the Qur'an and hadith as the main reference, it is hoped that Islamic education will be more focused and not lose its initial goal, which is to bring success in education which then brings goodness in the world and the hereafter.
