Abstract

PT.AAA merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi cat kayu, cat tembok, cat batu, pelitur, dan thinner yang mempunyai gudang distribusi atau yang dijadikan sebagai DC untuk kegiatan distribusi. PT. AAA mempunyai layanan pengiriman produk ke pelanggan dengan menggunakan armada sendiri untuk pelanggan di Pulau Jawa. Penentuan rute pengiriman produk dilakukan oleh operator berdasarkan sering atau biasa dilewati oleh armada bukan dengan perencanaan yang matang. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan sejumlah keterlambatan pengiriman bagi perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memberikan usulan rute pengiriman produk ke pelanggan khususnya untuk daerah Karesidenan Surakarta dengan menggunakan Algoritma Two-Phase Tabu Search untuk mengurangi jumlah keterlambatan pengiriman produk. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah urutan rute dan kendaraan yang digunakan untuk melakukan pengiriman produk. Hasil perhitungan dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan usulan urutan rute pengiriman untuk armada pengiriman dengan jarak tempuh sebesar 22,51% lebih kecil dibandingkan urutan rute pada kondisi awal. Jarak tempuh tersebut berkurang dari 938,93 km menjadi 727,516 km. Akibat dari pengurangan jarak tempuh tersebut, maka rata-rata keterlambatan pengiriman produk ke pelanggan berkurang menjadi empat lokasi untuk setiap harinya.

Abstract

Analyical Hierarchy process adalah sebuah pendekatan dan metod eyang jamak digunakan peneliti dan awam dalam penentuan keputusan berdsarkan banyak kriteria. AHP menggunakan pendekatan matrix berpasangan yang beresiko membuat proses perhitungan inkonsisten. Hal itu dikarenakan proses perhitungan menggunakan skala rasio yang membandingkan antara dua alternative atau kriteria. Perbandingan tersebut mungkin sekali menjadi tidak konsisten karena keterbatasan dari kapasitas komputasi benak manusia. Oleh karena itu diperlukan sebuah metode dan alat pengambilan data yang dapat memberikan langsung nilai konsistensi pada saat pengisian kuesioner AHP. Sehingga responden dapat melakukan koreksi dengan baik dan peneliti tidak perlu mengulang pengisian kuesioner yang membuat responden enggan. Proses perancangan dan perhitungan menggunakan spreadsheet baik itu Microsoft excel atau pun produk dari google. Hasil perancangan menunjukkan, proses pengisian dapat langsung memberikan informasi kepada responden apakah pengisiannya sudah konsisten atau belum sehingga dapat langsung dilakukan perbaikan.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is an open company developed in mobile telecommunication in Indonesia. The company was established to meet the needs of customers throughout all of the region in Indonesia. To determine how many sites should be built with limitations of budget would be the constraints, then it takes the objective function derived from calculations using linear programming methods. In this case, the calculation and analysis which aims to develop the plan of 4G LTE technology which has four types, those are LTE900, LTE1800, LTE2100, and LTE2300 in JABODETABEK region for this study by using pycharm software with PULP package and compared using POM-QM software. The results obtained by using both software shows the same number as follow, LTE types that must be built sequentially from the most to the least are LTE2100 12,580 sites, LTE2300 2.044 sites, LTE1800 390 sites, and LTE900 0 sites. Based on these results, if the company implemented these results in building the site for each type of LTE, then the maximum total revenue that can be obtained by the company is Rp 2.452.380.953.518,722.

Abstract

Optimization of transportation and distribution costs is one of the important issues in the supply chain management area. It is caused by their large contribution to the logistics costs that can reach up to 40%. Thus, choosing the right route is one of the efforts that can be done to resolve the issue. This study aims to optimize the capacitated vehicle routing problem with time windows (CVRPTW) for mineral water company distributor with pick-up and delivery problem. To achieve the aim, this study used hybrid algorithm, Genetic Algorithm (GA) and Tabu Search Algorithm (TS). The selection of this hybrid algorithm is due to its capability in minimizing travel distance. The result of this study shows that not only the algorithm has successfully reduced the existing route but also predicted the optimum number of homogenous fleet. By running the algorithm, this study concludes that the number of the optimum routes for this study can be reduced for up to 15.99% than the existing route.

Abstract

XYZ Company is a distributor focused on distributing floor and wall ceramic tiles. XYZ Company has its own warehouse for storing finished goods with Last In First Out rotation. The XYZ Company Warehouse has an area of 12,312 m2 with floor stack system. An issue currently risen to the warehouse is that the warehouse is currently overcapacity that urges the company to store some of its SKUs to be stored out of the block or even outside the warehouse. The overcapacity causes some problems including accessibility problem, distribution of storage and retrieval activities, and damaged product. In addition, higher throughput items allocation were not placed near to the input/output point so the material handling went through long travel to do its activities and it caused higher total travel distance. This research is focused on determining the warehouse layout to increase warehouse storage capacity and reduce travel distance. The procedure taken to solve the issue is by redesigning warehouse layout through heuristic approach method. The heuristic approach method is comprised by algorithms that can determine dimensions of storage zone and material assignment needed in designing warehouse layout. It is aimed at having some combinations of lane depths and storage zones to increase the warehouse storage capacity by considering the throughput of each SKU. The next step is allocating the items so it can reduce the monthly travel distance. The proposed design layout, shows that warehouse capacity increases by 35.53% or 5,319 pallet positions and monthly travel distance decreases by 24.58% or 216,032 meters. Abstract

XYZ is a pasteurization milk processing company that produce milk drink from pure cow milk. PT. XYZ don’t sell their product directly to end user, instead they distribute their product to many companies which serve milk for their employees or operators in lunch time. So, their customer is mostly a manufacture company from various kinds of industry. They have about 40 customers and most of them are outside Bandung. However, the delivery may not be done as planned. The average on time delivery is around 96%. it is below PT. XYZ target which is 98%. The impact of the delay itself is vary between customers. Because when delay occur, each customer has their own regulation that has been settled in agreement contract. Based on the delay recapitulation above, there are several factors that caused this problem. Delay in departure is the most influential factors. It is because PT. XYZ don’t have fixed schedule of delivery and they miscalculate the departure time because of improper route determination that also leads to longer travel time. This case is categorized as Vehicle Routing Problem with Heterogeneous Fleet and Time Window (VRPHFTW) that will be solved using one of meta-heuristics algorithm which is Two Phase Tabu Search Algorithm to minimize travel distance. Abstract

XYZ is one of the companies engaging in fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector and produce soft drinks as its main product. In supporting the product distribution to its customers, PT XYZ has several administrative offices and distribution centers (DC) which spread across each region. The DC has main function as the warehouse which has storage activity before the products are distributed. One of the DC is located in Bandung, West Java. DC Bandung itself received product shipments from three factories, such as Cibitung, Cakung and Tambun. Related to the product shipment, DC Bandung has not determined the replenishment policy, and this condition results over stock at some periods, due to the unscheduled delivery time and undetermined product quantity. This condition gives a big impact to the total inventory cost that has to be borne by DC Bandung. This research was conducted to give the proposal of product replenishment policy using mathematical model with mixed-integer programming method as one of the linear programming types, which aimed to minimize over stock and total holding cost in DC Bandung with several constraints. Mathematical modeling is involved in this research as an approximation to the real replenishment system in the DC. The results of application of the proposed method are in the form of analytical solution, such as order quantity, and reorder point of each product that will give an impact to the total unit inventory and the total holding cost in the DC. The results calculation of replenishment policy provide savings on total inventory costs as much as IDR 23,800,981.20 Keywords—Mixed-Integer Programming, Order Quantity, Over Stock, Replenishment Policy.

Abstract

OPQ is a company engaged in the automotive manufacturing industry. The company produces bolts for the safety area, it is related to the lower body of the four-wheeled vehicle. PT. OPQ was established in 2014 and today has already been the supplier for several major automotive companies in Indonesia. The demand of PT OPQ that must be fulfilled is increasing as the amount of consumer is increasing too. Due to the high demand, so the raw material stockout occurs. This make the company's service level is below the standard. This study involved 48 sku of material raw materials that have normal distributed demand. Inventory policy applied in this research is periodic review (R, s, S) with the aim to minimize total cost of inventory and improve service level of company. The result of this research was found to decrease total inventory cost by 15% with the value of existing inventory cost Rp1.100.879.479,- to Rp 936.061.349,- . In addition, service level at PT. Abstract

AbstractThis paper proposes a solution to the problem of congestion at the Sukarno Hatta Intersection - Buah Batu Bandung by using a computer simulation method with Pro Model software. There are three alternative solutions to this problem, namely changing the duration of traffic lights, adding new road lanes, or making flyovers. Changing the duration of the traffic lights will only reduce the car's travel time from an average of 10.5 minutes to 8.9 minutes (85% of the previous travel time). Adding one lane to each road will only reduce the vehicle's travel time from an average of 10.5 minutes to 7.7 minutes (73% of the previous travel time). The construction of a one-way flyover on Jalan Sukarno Hatta is the best solution, because it reduce the vehicle travel timefrom an average of 10.3 minutes to 3.2 minutes. Significant changes have occurred, the travel time is only 32% of the previous travel time. AbstrakMakalah ini mengusulkan solusi atas masalah kemacetan di Perempatan Sukarno Hatta – Buah Batu Bandung dengan menggunakan metode simulasi komputer dengan perangkat lunak Pro Model. Ada tiga alternatif solusi masalah ini yaitu mengubah durasi lampu merah dan hijau, menambah jalur jalan baru, atau membuat jalan layang. Pengubahan durasi lampu merah dan hijau hanya akan mengurangi waktu tempuh mobil dari rata-rata 10,5 menit menjadi 8,9 menit (85% dari waktu tempuh  sebelumnya). Penambahan satu jalur pada setiap jalan hanya akan mengurangi waktu tempuh kendaraan dari rata-rata 10,5 menit menjadi 7,7 menit (73% dari waktu tempuh sebelumnya). Pembuatan jalan layang satu arah di Jalan Sukarno Hatta merupakan solusi terbaik, karena mengurangi waktu tempuh kendaraan untuk dari rata-rata 10,3 menit menjadi 3,2 menit. Terjadi perubahan signifikan, waktu tempuh tinggal 32% dari waktu tempuh sebelumnya.

Abstract

Abstract In planning education strategies in the field of logistics and SCM, external factors evaluation approach can be implemented. This study proposes the approach of mass media sources and latest news as a basis for determining external factors, as a result, the formulation obtained is newest and more contextual. Those external factors then are going to be analyzed to formulate a strategy that is suitable for logistics education. The strategy emerges into several main things; although it is not time to lead fully to Industry 4.0, the Education curriculum should include knowledge that is aligned and supports the knowledge, Soft Skills that needed to be in logistics and supply chain education are English language skills and the ability to search for data. Object of the research in terms of logistics education which currently growing interests are namely logistics and SCM marine, e-commerce and international zones. Graduates need to be equipped with the ability to do business process efficiently and digitize all business processes.
