Abstract

Tourism is one of promising aspects which is growing rapidly today. Indoensia is the fourth tourism destination in South East Asia. The data from Government Tourism Office found that there has been an increasing number of visitors to Indonesia in the last three years.This certainly requires the development of supporting aspects, such as roads, transportation, facilities, accommodation and some other supporting aspects of tourismobjects.This research was aimed to know the effect of tourism development on land conversion in the coastal area of East Lombok Regency. This study employed a mixed method research (qualitative and quantitative). The reason of using this research method was to obtain the information that meet this research’s purposes. This research cllected primary and secondary data which were related to tourism and lad conversion. The data was obtained from field observation, interview, literature review, documentation, image analysis and additional information from related agencies. The result of this research revealed very slow development of tourism objects in coastal area of East Lombok Regency. Consequently, it resulted on very few land conversion in the coastal area of East Lombok due to a slow tourism development.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam pendidikan merupakan salah satu langkah strategis untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan dosen serta mahasiswa dalam mendesain media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis sosiologi menggunakan platform digital Canva. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Universitas Negeri Padang dengan melibatkan 26 peserta dari Program Studi Pendidikan Sosiologi. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup tahapan sosialisasi, pelatihan, praktik langsung, dan evaluasi. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman peserta, serta penilaian terhadap hasil karya desain media pembelajaran. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor pre-test peserta sebesar 42,75% meningkat menjadi 84,75% pada post-test, dengan peningkatan pemahaman sebesar 42%. Selain itu, hasil karya peserta menunjukkan kemampuan dalam memanfaatkan fitur Canva untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran yang kreatif, relevan, dan interaktif. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa penggunaan Canva dapat mendukung pembelajaran sosiologi secara lebih menarik dan efektif. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif dalam mendorong inovasi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi. Untuk keberlanjutan, disarankan agar pelatihan serupa diterapkan di program studi lainnya guna memperluas transformasi pembelajaran digital.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology provides significant opportunities for Muslim adolescents but also poses serious challenges, particularly the growing phenomenon of cyberbullying. This issue negatively affects adolescents’ psychological, social, and academic conditions, thereby requiring preventive strategies that are not only technical but also grounded in moral and spiritual education. This study aims to analyze Islamic moral education (akhlak Islami) as a preventive strategy against cyberbullying among Muslim adolescents. The research employed a qualitative method with a library research approach and descriptive-analytical analysis of primary and secondary literature related to Islamic education, Islamic ethics, and the phenomenon of cyberbullying. The findings reveal that ten core values of Islamic morality qaulan karīma (kind speech), ḥusnuzan (positive thinking), tawāḍuʿ (humility), ṣabr (self-control), amar maʿrūf nahi munkar (enjoining good and forbidding evil), ṣidq (honesty), amānah (responsibility), iḥsān (sincere benevolence), ukhuwwah islāmiyyah (brotherhood), and ʿadālah (justice) function as a moral filter in digital interactions. Internalizing these values enables adolescents to avoid deviant behaviors while strengthening their psychological resilience in online environments. The study emphasizes the importance of synergy between schools, families, and communities in preventing cyberbullying. Theoretically, this research contributes to the development of contemporary Islamic education responsive to digital challenges, while practically offering implications for schools, parents, and policymakers in fostering a healthy, ethical, and Islamically grounded digital ecosystem

Abstract

This training aimed to enhance elementary school teachers' understanding and skills in applying mindful teaching and developing social-emotional-based learning integrated within deep learning approaches. The program was initiated due to teachers' limited comprehension of embedding emotional and social aspects in thematic instruction. The method included training, lesson plan development workshops, class simulations, implementation mentoring, and pre-post evaluations. Results showed a 59.8% average increase in teacher understanding, along with significant improvement in classroom social interactions and emotional climate. Teachers also successfully developed thematic lesson plans that reflect mindful teaching and SEL principles. This program confirms the importance of integrating mindfulness and social-emotional learning in creating meaningful and emotionally supportive primary education classrooms.
