Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the reality of the communication strategies used by parents in accompanying their children of elementary school age during the pandemic, specifically in the Pondok Cina area, Depok, West Java. The research informants numbered around 5 mothers as parents of elementary school students who live in Pondok Cina from social economic status C (simple) who help their husbands to earn a living.This study uses a constructivist paradigm that sees reality not by itself, but through interactions between one individual and another. To see more deeply how the description of the reality of the communication strategies used by parents in accompanying their children of elementary school age during a pandemic through a case study method that can explore how in a pandemic condition mothers as the closest parents use communication strategies in accompanying their son or daughter to learn online way.Research informants were taken using a purposive sampling technique (as needed), specifically the snowball technique. The case study method is a way to examine research cases and collect data through non-participant observation, and the largest portion is through in-depth interviews with research informants while maintaining health procedures set by the government. Furthermore, the author also elaborates through documentation studies of various documents related to the research theme.The results of data collection will be analyzed with the Huberman and Miles data analysis model with predetermined stages starting from reducing data, categorizing to drawing conclusions, finally the categories of communication strategies used by mothers in accompanying children during online learning via the internet are found.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the reception analysis of female followers in the Yogyakarta area on the TikTok account regarding the da'wah content of the Ramadhan 1443 H edition. Research method: reception analysis. Research results on eight da'wah content videos have different positions. Through the results of the reception analysis of the followers, it can be concluded that generally informants are in a dominant position. The position of the informant refers to Stuart Hall's reception theory and model which divides the audience's position in perceiving and giving opinions about a content into three, namely a dominant position, a negotiating position, and an oppositional position.

Abstract

Komunitas merek bukan lagi sebagai sekumpulan orang ataupun kelompok sosial yang terbentuk atas dasar kedekatan atau minat yang sama terhadap suatu merek atau produk tertentu. Seiring dengan berkembangnya teknologi dan informasi, komunitas merek juga bisa memainkan peran sebagai agen penguatan brand image dari produk yang disukai dengan segala aktivitas yang dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana Xpander-Mitsubsihi Owner Club (X-MOC) Indonesia sebagai komunitas merek, berperan menjadi agen penguatan brand image dari Mitsubishi Xpander. Penelitian ini didasari oleh sejumlah teori mengenai motivasi pengguna Mitsubishi Xpander mengikuti komunitas merek, begitu juga dengan ragam kegiatan X-MOC Indonesia yang turut menguatkan brand image Mitsubishi Xpander. Metode penelitian yang digunakan berupa pendekatan kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data dilakukan lewat wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumen. Paradigma penelitian yaitu paradigma konstruktivis dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus single case study. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini dibagi menjadi data primer dan sekunder, yang mana data primer dihasilkan lewat wawancara mendalam (In-depth interview) dengan informan, antara lain Ketua Umum, Pengurus dan member komunitas X-MOC Indonesia. Sementara data sekunder merupakan informasi yang berasal dari dalam maupun dari luar komunitas. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa X-MOC Indonesia memiliki segala aspek bagi sebuah komunitas merek untuk menjadi agen penguatan brand image Mitsubishi Xpander. Anggota X-MOC juga bisa menjadi sebuah kekuatan dahsyat dan tidak terpisahkan dari merek kendaraan yang mereka digunakan, yakni Mitsubishi Xpander. Partisipasi komunitas merek dapat merangsang munculnya tindakan promosi mulut ke mulut (word of mouth), menciptakan brand image yang baik hingga mempertahankan konsumen dengan mencegah timbulnya niat untuk beralih ke merek lain (switching intention).

Abstract

Pemerintah Desa Bojong Menteng Leuwidamar Banten belum mampu membuat perencanaan dan strategi komunikasi untuk percepatan Tujuan Pembangunan Desa Berkelanjutan. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dimaksudkan dan ditujukan untuk membantu perangkat Desa Bojong Menteng dalam membuat perencanaan dan strategi komunikasi guna percepatan Tujuan Pembangunan Desa Berkelanjutan untuk Desa mereka. Kegiatan ini sudah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 27 Februari 2025, menggunakan 6 metode pelatihan yaitu, presentasi, tanya jawab dan diskusi, praktek atau pelatihan keterampilan, demonstrasi, perancangan, dan mind mapping. Dilaksanakan di kantor Pemerintah Desa Bojong Menteng Leuwidamar Lebak Banten. Hasil: kegiatan ini dinilai positif, menarik, menambah pengetahuan, mengubah sikap dan motivasi, juga layak untuk disampaikan kepada pihak lain. Simpulan: kegiatan ini masih perlu dilanjutkan, karena Perangkat Desa Bojong Menteng masih lemah dalam pengetahuan dan kemampuan membuat perencanaan dan strategi komunikasi untuk percepatan tujuan pembangunan Desa berkelanjutan. Mereka juga belum mampu mengidentifikasi karakteristik desa mereka sendiri, dan  Musyawarah Desa dinilai belum berjalan efektif.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of interpersonal communication strategies between superiors and subordinates in the operational context of PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama (BUMA) Jobsite IPR. The main focus is directed at how communication interactions shape work relationships and influence the process of achieving production targets. Using a qualitative descriptive approach and case study method, this study explores the experiences, perceptions, and communication practices that occur in the field. The findings indicate that open, empathetic, and trust-based communication is an important foundation in building work synergy. However, there are a number of communication barriers that arise, such as differences in perception, incongruent communication styles, and limited time and space for interaction, technical disruptions caused by disrupted radio or internet signals, which ultimately pose real challenges in accelerating work, errors in execution, and ultimately disrupt work productivity. This study recommends the need to strengthen interpersonal communication capacity through training and continuous evaluation of internal communication systems.

Abstract

Persuasive Communication and Awareness of Independent Food Resilience Through Training in Catfish and Water Spinach Cultivation in Buckets (Bulekungdamber) Based on Indigenous Knowledge for the Residents of Kampung Landeuh, Bojong Menteng Village, Leuwidamar, Lebak, Banten, namely, the Village Government of Bojong Kampung. Encourage the creation of food independence from the people of Landeuh Village through the use of yards and non-productive land. Reducing dependence on food supplies from outside the village, while increasing local food security. Training is done ground, interactively, and can be practiced directly. A short Interactive Lecture using easy-to-understand language to describe food security and the benefits of self-sufficiency. Simple applied communication techniques interspersed with quesiont and answer so that citizens feel involved. Shows directly how to make a simple bioflok, grow vegetables in a polybag, or make liquid organic fertilizer. Next, discuss with the trainees until they understand.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan strategi komunikasi kepemimpinan dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan dengan studi kasus pada CV. Indah Baru Group sebagai distributor Unilever. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi untuk menganalisis pola komunikasi pemimpin kepada karyawan. Kerangka teori dalam penelitian ini mencakup Teori Komunikasi Persuasif (Carl Hovland), Model Gaya Kepemimpinan Hersey-Blanchard, Konsep Strategi Komunikasi Kepemimpinan (Anwar Arifin), dan Konsep Komunikasi Organisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan komunikasi organisasi sangat bergantung pada kemampuan pemimpin dalam mengintegrasikan berbagai pendekatan komunikasi sesuai dengan konteks dan kebutuhan spesifik setiap divisi. Gaya kepemimpinan situasional yang diterapkan oleh pemimpin CV. Indah Baru Group menciptakan iklim komunikasi yang mendukung pencapaian tujuan organisasi. Kombinasi gaya delegasi, penjualan, dan partisipatif yang disesuaikan dengan tingkat kematangan dan karakteristik masing-masing divisi memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, di mana komunikasi yang terbuka dan partisipatif mampu meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan karyawan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand and describe the communication between teachers and students through Blended Learning in the implementation of PTMT at SMAN 5 Kota Sukabumi. To describe this communication, various theories are utilized, including Berlo's theory, Gestalt theory, and the concept of group communication. This study is a qualitative research conducted as a case study. Data collection is done through interviews and observations. The research subjects are teachers and students, and the observations take place at SMAN 5 Kota Sukabumi, which implements the PTMT attendance pattern on odd and even days. The researcher observes blended learning sessions conducted by several teachers during both face-to-face and online sessions, including synchronous and asynchronous PJJ methods. After observing inside the classroom during the blended learning process, the researcher conducts interviews. Then, based on the observation and interviews, the researcher describes the communication between teachers and students using the aforementioned theories. The results of this study describe and depict the communication between teachers and students through Blended Learning in the implementation of PTMT at SMAN 5 Kota Sukabumi.

Abstract

The main purpose of this journal is to describe the cultural change in the practice of Pikukuh Karuhun (The Law of Baduy people that governs their relation with nature). While most of the people of Inner Baduy (locally known as Baduy Dalam) in Cibeo still strongly clings into these ancient laws, the youths of said village have started to use technologies in their daily lives, most often to communicate with guests who planned to visit their village. The researchers of this journal tried to study this change that occurs in Cibeo’s youths, specifically about their stance on Pikukuh Karuhun as a local culture that functions to philosophically guide Baduy people on their daily lives. This study was done with ethnomethodology method which is a part qualitative method and constructive paradigm. The results of this research describe the inconsistencies in the practice of Pikukuh Karuhun by Cibeo’s youths that mostly works as local guides and porters in weekends and holidays. They use social media like WhatsApp to communicate with would-be guests before and after their arrival. Their aptitude in using such apps come from their interaction with outlanders that come to visit Cibeo. In-between their interaction with outside visitors, they autodidactly learn to operate phones and social medias as much as they could. Interestingly, researchers found that while they use technology in the form of mobile phones (something that is forbidden by their ancient laws), they only do so outside their village. They never bring their phones into the village but instead they leave it at the hand of their relatives and friends outside Cibeo.

Abstract

Indonesia is known as a country rich in positive ancestral heritage, such as friendliness, politeness, listening, understanding, and respecting others. These positive attitudes play an important role in achieving effective communication, especially in a large organization like IKABOGA, where food experts from all over Indonesia gather. These positive ancestral attitudes need to be applied to support the brand image and positive reputation of IKABOGA that has already been established. The partner in the PKM (Community Partnership Program) for the 2022/2023 period on indigenous-based leader communication competency training to support the brand image and positive reputation of IKABOGA is the IKATAN AHLI BOGA INDONESIA (IKABOGA) organization, located at Jl Penggilingan Baru 1 No.21-27 Rt001 RW 03, Kel. Dukuh, Kec. Kramat Jati, East Jakarta. Established on December 3, 1987, it serves as the sole forum for Indonesian culinary experts. The establishment of IKABOGA was the realization of the idea from the Sub-Consortium of Cooking and Culinary Services under the Directorate of Community Education, Directorate General of Non-Formal Education, Department of National Education, which at that time was chaired by Prof. Dr. W.P. Napitupulu. The elected General Chairperson is Dr. Dewi Motik Pramono, MSi. Currently, the Indonesian Culinary Experts Association has expanded to various regions in Indonesia through the SUBKONSORSIUM pathway. In 2012, DPD IKABOGA was formed in 27 provinces, with 100 DPCs in cities and regencies, totaling approximately 10,000 members (ikabogakb.com. 2023)). The vision of IKABOGA is to build a professional Indonesian culinary society. To achieve its vision, IKABOGA INDONESIA organizes various non-political, independent, and active community activities involving individuals or organizations and collaborates with the government and the business world. The missions of IKABOGA include: a) As a government partner in implementing development in the field of science and technology in culinary and culinary services; b) Conducting training and community course guidance in culinary and culinary services; c) Disseminating information about culinary and culinary services to the public through activities such as seminars, workshops, and others; d) Serving as a channel for member aspirations and activities; e) Fostering the professional development of its members in the field of culinary and culinary services; f) Making the organization an open and responsive forum by facilitating reciprocal communication among IKABOGA Indonesia members, between members and the organization, and between IKABOGA INDONESIA and other organizations and institutions, both governmental and non-governmental (ikabogakb.com. 2023).
