Abstract

This research aims to describe the strategy profile of driving teachers in planning, implementing and evaluating mathematics learning in elementary schools. This research was conducted at Jambi City State Elementary School (SD) 1/IV in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The results of this research indicate that teachers who are active in learning mathematics carry out several steps and learning strategies. The strategy used when planning mathematics learning in class IV is to carry out a diagnostic assessment, understand CP so that it can be reduced to TP and ATP, express each learning activity process in the form of a mathematics teaching module document, prepare teaching tools that support mathematics learning, and manage the environment. class to be conducive to learning mathematics. The learning implementation strategy is to carry out differentiation techniques for mathematical content, processes and products. The strategy profile used by driving teachers in mathematics learning can be used as an example for other teachers in implementing learning that refers to the independent curriculum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan analisis penerapan proyek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila (P5) serta mendeskripsikan faktor pendukung dan penghambat pada tema kearifan lokal pada kurikulum merdeka kelas v sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian fenomenologi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri Lubuk Harjo pada semester ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025. Subjek penelitian yaitu Ibu D selaku wali kelas VA dan Bapak sandi selaku wali kelas VB. Data penenelitian diperoleh melalusi observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Uji validitas data menggunakan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) penerapan projek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila (P5) dengan tema kearifan lokal pada kurikulum merdeka kelas v sekolah dasar, telah berjalan dengan baik. Dalam penerapan P5 terdapat beberapa tahapan yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. (2) faktor pendukung yang terlibat adalah guru, orang tua, pemanfaatan teknologi informasi, serta keterlibatan masyarakat. Kerjasama serta kolaborasi antar pihak menjadi kunci agar program ini mampu memberikan dampak positif yang berarti bagi pembentukan karakter peserta didik. Sedangkan faktor penghambat didalam penerapan proyek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila adalah adanya karakter peserta didik yang berbeda serta kurangnya jam pembelajaran. Kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah penerapan proyek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila bahwa guru kelas V berhasil menerapkan proyek tersebut. Keberhasilan tersebut dapat dilihat dari implementasi pembelajaran projek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila dalam sekolah, yang tidak terlepas dari peran penting pendik dalam mengimplementasikannya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' reading comprehension skills in phase C of elementary school, especially in understanding short stories. The main focus of this study is to identify and evaluate students' abilities in three main aspects: determining the main idea, answering questions comprehensively, and retelling the content of the reading. The research was conducted at SDN 95/VI Parit Ujung Tanjung I in June 2024. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study research type. The data in this study were obtained directly through observation, reading comprehension tests given to students and interviews to get an in-depth picture of students' ability to understand short stories. The subjects in this study were grade V students. The data validity test used triangulation of techniques and time. The results of this study showed that: (1) 2 out of 12 students have been able to determine the main idea with a percentage of 14.5% while the rest still have difficulty in determining the main idea. The difficulties faced by students in determining the main idea are caused by limitations in vocabulary which hinder their understanding (2) Students' ability to answer questions comprehensively shows that 4 out of 12 students have been able to answer questions with a percentage of 22% while the rest still have difficulties. These difficulties are caused by students not understanding the questions well. In addition, students also tend to rush and be less careful in solving problems (3) Students' ability to retell the content of reading shows that 3 out of 12 students have been able to retell the content of reading well. However, the rest still have difficulties. The difficulties experienced by students include difficulty remembering the details of the story, not being able to retell the content of the reading with their own version as seen from the answers of students who only copy the reading text.  From this study it can be concluded that the ability to read comprehension of short stories in phase C of elementary school is still in the deficient category.

Abstract

This research aims to 1) describe the use of acronym mnemonic strategy in improving students' memory. 2) describe the use of the acronym mnemonic strategy in improving students' ability to create acronyms. 3) describe the effectiveness of using the acronym mnemonic strategy in improving student learning outcomes in IPAS subjects on the topic of light. This research was conducted at SDN 17/I Rantau Puri in the 2024/2025 academic year. With a sample of 23 students. This research uses a quantitative approach with the type of ex post facto research. The population in this study were all grade V students of SDN 17/I Rantau Puri, totaling 23 students. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out using memory test instruments and learning outcomes tests. The analysis techniques used were descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis. The results showed that 1) there was a significant increase in student memory, this was shown through the acquisition of the average score for the student memory test in the pretest of 51.30 while the posttest was 68.26. 2) there is a significant increase in the ability to make acronyms, this is shown through the acquisition of the average value for the test to make student acronyms in the pretest of 58.09 while the posttest amounted to 76.91. 3) there is a significant increase in student learning outcomes, this is shown from the results of the t test with the paired sample t-test, the t value is greater than the t table, namely 11.163> 2.073 and Sig. (2 tailed) = 0.000 <0.05, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of acronym mnemonic strategies can improve student learning outcomes in IPAS subjects on the topic of light. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the use of the acronym mnemonic strategy is effective in improving student learning outcomes. Therefore, it is recommended for teachers and schools to strive to use learning with the acronym mnemonic strategy because it can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Writing is the key to clarifying thoughts and ideas, expressing and clarifying oneself, and improving critical thinking skills, and is a source of self-evaluation. Writing is also a very important part of life literacy. Literacy management is becoming increasingly necessary in today's era. Minister of Education and Culture Nadiem Makarim said that literacy fosters critical thinking and ethical use of digital platforms, especially among the younger generation. However, elementary school students' interest in writing stories is still very low because students usually do not have ideas so they do not understand what to explain and present in writing. Therefore, interest in writing needs to be increased starting from elementary education. This study is quantitative and aims to describe the effect of using the Comica application on the interests and writing skills of grade V students of SD Negeri 111/I Bulian. The design of this study is included in the pre-experimental type. Based on the data analysis from the discussion that has been carried out from the results of obtaining hypothesis testing using the t-test, namely with a significance level of 0.05, the t count value = 5.22 is greater than t table = 2.01. In addition, seen from the results of the post-test calculation of the experimental class using comica, it is known that the average value is 80.36 which shows a higher value compared to the control class with an average of 75.24. This increase occurred because using comica media made students more enthusiastic and more excited in the learning process. The existence of learning media such as comica will certainly make learning better and can improve student knowledge. Thus, in this study there is a significant influence between the comica application on the interest in writing stories in grade V students in social studies.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of teachers as facilitators in the transformation of the independent curriculum in elementary schools. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. The subjects of this study were class IVA teachers at SD Negeri 34/I Teratai. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and document studies. The results of the study indicate that class IVA teachers have carried out their roles as facilitators in the transformation of the independent curriculum in elementary schools well through the observed indicators, namely learning planning through the provision of learning tools, organizing learning by providing learning facilities, implementing learning by acting as partners, not superiors, assessing the learning process through the application of the principle of justice.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of administrative staff in enhancing the accessibility of curriculum transformation reinforcement at SDN 34/I Teratai during the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. This research employs a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving administrative staff as the primary source, along with school principals and teachers as supporting informants. Data validity was tested through triangulation of techniques and sources. The findings indicate that administrative staff play a crucial role in seven key areas: (1) Personnel Administration, managing teacher data and supporting adaptation to curriculum policies; (2) Financial Administration, ensuring budget transparency and distributing BOS funds; (3) Facilities Administration, managing educational infrastructure to support curriculum implementation; (4) Public Relations Administration, facilitating communication between the school and external stakeholders; (5) Correspondence and Archival Administration, distributing curriculum documents and academic policies; (6) Student Administration, managing student data and development programs; and (7) Curriculum Administration, assisting in the preparation and distribution of curriculum documents. This study concludes that administrative staff play a vital role in facilitating curriculum transformation in elementary schools. Optimizing digital-based administration and enhancing the competence of administrative staff are strategic steps to improve educational accessibility, making it more inclusive and adaptable to modern developments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran kepala sekolah sebagai manajer dalam meningkatkan aksesibilitas penguatan transfigurasi kurikulum. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri 34/I Teratai pada semester ganjil 2024/2025 dengan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan fenomenologi. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap kepala sekolah, guru kelas IV, dan operator sekolah. Uji validitas data menggunakan triangulasi teknik sumber dan waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan aksesibilitas penguatan transfigurasi kurikulum melalui empat fungsi manajerial utama. (1) Perencanaan, kepala sekolah mempersiapkan segala aspek yang diperlukan dalam implementasi kurikulum baru, yang meliputi persiapan tenaga pendidik, peserta didik, perangkat ajar, serta berbagai bentuk kegiatan dan anggaran yang dibutuhkan untuk peningkatan aksesibilitas penguatan transfigurasi kurikulum. (2) Pengorganisasian, kepala sekolah membagi tugas dan tanggung jawab kepada tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan sesuai kompetensi masing-masing guna memastikan efektivitas pelaksanaan program. (3) Penggerakan, kepala sekolah memberikan arahan, motivasi, dan dukungan kepada tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan agar dapat menjalankan tugasnya secara optimal. (4) Pengawasan, kepala sekolah melakukan pengawasan program dengan melakukan supervisi dan evaluasi secara berkala untuk memastikan ketercapaian target kurikulum. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui rapat kerja komunitas belajar (KOMBEL) serta pertemuan personal dengan guru untuk membahas perkembangan dan kendala program yang dijalankan. Berdasarkah hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa, kepala sekolah sebagai manajer memiliki peran strategis dalam meningkatkan aksesibilitas penguatan transfigurasi kurikulum. Melalui fungsi manajerial yang mencakup perencanaan, pengorganisasian, penggerakan, dan pengawasan, kepala sekolah mampu memastikan bahwa implementasi kurikulum baru dapat berjalan efektif dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian yang dilaksanakan ini bertujuan untuk melihat serta mendeskripsikan media pembelajaran Flash Sipa untuk Meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran pendidikan Pancasila di kelas 3 Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN 186/I Sridadi pada kelas III. Bentuk pada penelitian ini ialah penelitian tindakan kelas atau PTK. Data pada penelitian ini didapat dengan cara melaksanakan observasi serta wawancara. Sesudah itu data dianalisis secara kualitatif serta kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan empat tahapan yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, serta refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian sesudah penerapan media pembelajaran Flash Sipa untuk meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran pendidikan Pancasila diperoleh data bahwasanya menerapkan media pembelajaran Flash Sipa bisa meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar pserta didik. Hal ini dikarenakan setiap siswa mengalami peningkatan dalam konsentrasi belajar dengan memperhatikan indikator konsentrasi belajar pada saat aktivitas pembelajaran yang bisa dilihat dalam setiap siklus pertemuan. Hasil dari siklus I pertemuan pertama memperoleh presentase sebesar 49,73% dengan kategori “Rendah”, sedangkan dalam siklus I pertemuan kedua didapatkan presentase yakni 54,94% dengan kategori “rendah” dengan peningkatan sebesar 5,21%. Pada siklus II pertemuan pertama didapat persentase sebesar 69,27% dengan kategori “sedang” dimana terdapat kenaikan sebesar 14,33%, serta untuk siklus II pertemuan kedua mendapatkan persentase yakni 81,25% berada dalam kategori “Tinggi” dengan kenaikan sebesar 11,98%. Hasil dalam pertemuan kedua siklus II sudah mencapai persentase perolehan indikator keberhasilan, yakni 70%. Melalui hasil penelitian ini bisa ditarik sebuah kesimpulan bahwasanya Penerapan media pembelajaran Flash Sipa bisa Meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran pendidikan Pancasila di kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Hal tersebut mampu dibuktikan dengan terjadinya peningkatan tiap indikator konsentrasi belajar peserta didik pada setiap siklus pertemuannya.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) approach in the learning process of Class Va at SDN 131/IV Kota Jambi. The STEAM approach is an educational innovation that integrates five disciplines to foster students' critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration skills. This research explores how teachers apply the STEAM approach in learning activities, the types of activities used, as well as students' responses and engagement during the process. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings of this study are expected to provide a clear picture of the effectiveness and challenges in implementing the STEAM approach in elementary schools and serve as a reference for developing innovative and contextual learning strategies.
