Abstract

The design of this study is focused on measuring the effectiveness of the application of the "Qatar Debate" method for mastery of speech skills in Arabic debates in the Mutaqodddim class at the Naatiq Arabiyyah Pare Kediri Course. The formulation of the questions in this study is: (1) How is the application of the "Qatar Debate" method for mastery of speaking skills in Arabic debate in the Mutaqoddim class in the Naatiq Arabiyyah Pare Kediri Course? (2) How effective is the application of the "Qatar Debate" method for the mastery of speaking skills in Arabic debate in the Mutaqoddim class in the Naatiq Arabiyyah Pare Kediri Course? This study uses a quantitative research method. The data collection used in this study was tests, documentation, interviews, and observations. The researcher explained the results of this study, namely: (1) The application of the "Qatar Debate" method for mastering speaking skills has an important role in improving the quality of learning, especially in learning speaking skills. This method is applied as a form of developing Arabic debate learning. (2) The average score obtained by students (89.00) is higher than the hypothetical score (80.00). So this method is effective in helping students to develop fluency in speaking, fluency and intonation as well as the richness of language styles in speaking Arabic orally.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the teaching program assessment in an educational unit as part of the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) curriculum. This research is a case study involving 5th-semester students participating in a teaching assistance program, with a total of 11 student participants. Data collection methods included direct observation and assessment documentation by supervising school teachers. Data analysis used a qualitative-quantitative percentage approach. The results showed that among the three assessment domains—cognitive, affective, and psychomotor—the lowest scores were in the affective domain (3.55), while the highest scores were in the psychomotor domain (3.58). Individually, Student 7 achieved the highest overall score (3.77) compared to the others. These findings indicate that the 11 participating students need to improve their affective domain skills in learning and teaching processes. All three domains (cognitive, affective, and psychomotor) will serve as essential preparation for these student practitioners when entering the real workforce throughout their professional lives.

Abstract

Hearing sense which in a study of Arabic language known as maharah al-istima' is one of language art that cannot be separated in learning four language skills which include: listening skill, speaking skill, reading skill, and writing skill. Its presence inside human beings participates in having urgency and complex roles and it is dominants to be developed especially in the learning domain. Moreover, if the listening skill is synergized with other language skills collectively and simultaneously. This article reflects on a specific language in the concept of hearing sense urgency in the perspective of Holy Qur'an of learning language skill, remember that learning skill in a Holy Qur'an as The Scholars opinions are mentioned 27 times earlier than other skills. The perspective theory of hearing sense according to Holy Qur'an in this study then connected to the language learning theory from Scientific Expert. The nature of the connectivity then gave an interesting view which led to functional concept of hearing sense position and its role in learning four languages.

Abstract

In the current digital era, Arabic language teaching must evolve in line with advances in science and technology. In the field of education, the presence of AI offers significant potential to enhance the quality and effectiveness of learning, including in the cultivation of Maharah istima’ (listening skills). A primary challenge encountered by students encompasses both linguistic and non-linguistic factors, such as restricted vocabulary, difficulty in identifying phonetic sounds, issues with pronunciation and writing, a deficiency in concentration, and the insufficiency of suitable learning media. AI Presenter D-ID presents a potential solution to these problems. This study examines the effectiveness of AI Presenter D-ID in improving listening skills among tenth-grade students at MA Hasyim Asy'ari Jogoroto Jombang, using a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest pre-experimental design. The subjects of this study were all 27 students of class X-3 at MA Hasyim Asy’ari Jogoroto Jombang. Because the population size was under 100, the entire population was utilized as the research sample without the implementation of sampling techniques. Data were gathered through tests and documentation. The findings of the study demonstrate a significant enhancement in students' Maharah istima’ following the treatment. Based on the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, the result showed an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.041<0.05. Consequently, the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ) is accepted. This leads to the conclusion that the use of AI Presenter D-ID is effective in improving the Maharah istima’ of students in class X-3 at MA Hasyim Asy’ari Jogoroto Jombang. Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk meneliti dan menganalisis pendekatan-pendekatan yang dapat meningkatkan ketertarikan belajar siswa di Taman Pendidikan Alquran (TPQ) yang berlokasi di Dusun Ngrandu, Desa Putren, Kecamatan Sukomoro, Kabupaten Nganjuk. TPQ ini merupakan lembaga pendidikan non-formal Islam yang fokus pada pengajaran Alquran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa pada awalnya cenderung rendah, banyak di antara mereka yang hadir lebih didorong oleh dorongan orang tua (HIDAYAT, A & SARI, 2022) ketimbang keinginan pribadi. Untuk memecahkan masalah ini, sejumlah strategi diterapkan, seperti metode pembelajaran yang interaktif dan menyenangkan, penggunaan permainan edukatif, penguatan positif melalui penghargaan, keterlibatan aktif orang tua, dan teladan yang baik dari para guru (ustaz/ustazah) (SYAMSUDIN, M., & KHAIRUNNISA, 2024). Strategi-strategi ini secara signifikan meningkatkan semangat belajar siswa, konsistensi kehadiran, serta prestasi mereka dalam membaca dan menghafal Alquran. Kegiatan belajar mengajar di TPQ Miftahul Huda dilaksanakan pada pukul 15. 00 hingga 16. 00 WIB. Dengan waktu yang singkat ini, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan disiplin dalam memahami ilmu agama. Sebelum memulai pelajaran, para guru (ustaz/ustazah) terbiasa membaca doa dan asmaul husna yang bisa mereka hafalkan sebagai langkah awal dalam memulai pelajaran. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa, dibutuhkan pendekatan holistik yang berfokus pada siswa yang melibatkan inovasi pedagogis, dukungan emosional, dan kerja sama antara guru dan orang tua. Strategi-strategi ini memberikan dampak positif dalam menciptakan pengalaman belajar Al-Quran yang lebih menarik dan bermakna. (SUSANTI, W., & MAULANA, 2025)

Abstract

This study examines the linguistic performance and pedagogical relevance of Qalam AI as an automatic ḥarakāt detection system in Arabic sentence learning. Employing an exploratory qualitative case study design, the research involved analysis of student text samples, expert evaluation through comparison between AI-generated outputs and manual linguistic analysis, and classroom integration simulation. The analysis focused on three grammatical cases: al-asmāʾ al-marfūʿah (nominative), al-asmāʾ al-manṣūbah (accusative), and al-asmāʾ al-majrūrah (genitive). The findings indicate that Qalam AI is capable of identifying various sentence-level linguistic features, including grammatical case assignment, orthographic inconsistencies, sentence-structure variation, and punctuation-related issues, while also exhibiting systematic limitations in contexts involving morphological ambiguity and syntactic role differentiation. Rather than functioning as an error-free automation tool, Qalam AI appears to support form-focused learning by making linguistic features visible for learner reflection and instructional mediation. These findings suggest that Qalam AI may serve as a supportive pedagogical tool within AI-assisted Arabic language instruction, complementing human linguistic judgment rather than replacing it. The study contributes to ongoing discussions in Computer-Assisted Language Learning and Arabic Natural Language Processing by highlighting the instructional value of automatic diacritization systems beyond technical accuracy.

Abstract

Pelatihan menulis bahasa Arab dengan menggunakan kaidah imla’ berbasis digital ini untuk santri kelas wustho di Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Sunan Ampel merupakan keterampilan tertinggi dari empat keterampilan berbahasa. Pelatihan ini bertujuan agar para santri di madrasah diniyah agar para santri mampu dan mahir menulis kalimat Bahasa Arab dengan baik dan benar sesuai dengan kaidah imla’. Kegiatan pelatihan menulis ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan observasi dan wawancara secara mendalam dengan pertemuan pelatihan sebanyak empat kali. Hasil dari pelatihan menulis Bahasa Arab dengan kaidah imla’ ini menunjukkan bahwa para santri setelah mengikuti pelatihan mampu memahami dan memparktekkan kegiatan menulis kalimat Bahasa Arab dengan baik dan benar serta melalui evaluasi dengan nilai yang bagus sesuai dengan kaidah imla’. Dampak dari pelatihan keterampilan menulis ini para santri lebih rajin dan giat dalam mengikuti pembelajaran Bahasa Arab terutama keterampilan menulis Bahasa Arab.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low Arabic writing skills of eighth-grade students at the Islamic junior high school level. In the learning process, many students still experienced difficulties in writing Arabic vocabulary and arranging sentences correctly. In addition, the lack of variation in teaching methods made students less active and less motivated in learning Arabic, especially in writing skills. Therefore, an effective teaching method was needed to create an active, enjoyable, and interactive learning atmosphere. This research aimed to determine the implementation of the Quantum Teaching method, the students’ writing skills, and the effect of the Quantum Teaching method through the “TANDUR” stages on students’ Arabic writing skills. This study used a quantitative approach with an experimental method through a One Group Pre-test and Post-test Design. The sample consisted of 20 eighth-grade students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and tests, then analyzed using the Paired Sample t-Test. The results showed that the implementation of the Quantum Teaching method was carried out well and created an active and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Students’ writing skills improved after the treatment. The statistical analysis showed that the significance value was 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that the alternative hypothesis was accepted. Thus, the Quantum Teaching method had a significant effect on students’ Arabic writing skills.

Abstract

يهدف هذا البحث إلى معالجة ضعف فهم المفردات العربية لدى الطلبة في عملية التعلّم، حيث لا يزال بعضهم يواجه صعوبةً في فهم المفردات وحفظها، إضافةً إلى أنّ استخدام الوسائل التعليمية التقليدية يؤدّي إلى انخفاض اهتمام الطلبة ومشاركتهم في تعلّم اللغة العربية. ولذلك، يهدف هذا البحث إلى معرفة تطبيق الوسائل التعليمية القائمة على التصميم الرقمي كانفا، ومستوى فهم المفردات العربية لدى الطلبة، وفعالية استخدام Canva في تنمية فهم المفردات العربية لدى طلبة الصف العاشر بمدرسة العالية الحكومية ١ جومبانج استخدم هذا البحث المنهج الكميّ بتصميم المجموعة الواحدة مع الاختبار القبلي والاختبار البعدي (One Group Pre-Test Post-Test Design). وتكوّنت عيّنة البحث من ٢٢ طالبًا من طلاب الصف العاشر بمدرسة العالية الحكومية ١ جومبانج. أمّا أساليب جمع البيانات فتمثّلت في الاختبار والتوثيق. وقد تمّ اختبار أدوات البحث باستخدام اختبار الصدق بمعادلة Pearson Product Moment، واختبار الثبات بمعامل Cronbach’s Alpha كما تمّ تحليل البيانات باستخدام اختبار Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test لكون البيانات غير موزّعة توزيعًا طبيعيًّا. وأظهرت نتائج البحث أنّ الوسائل التعليمية القائمة على التصميم الرقمي «Canva» يمكن تطبيقها بصورة جيّدة في تعليم المفردات العربية من خلال استخدام الصور البصرية الجذّابة والتفاعلية. كما أظهرت النتائج وجود تحسّن في مستوى فهم المفردات لدى الطلبة، ويتّضح ذلك من خلال نتائج الاختبار القبلي والاختبار البعدي. وأظهرت نتائج اختبار ويلكوكسون أنّ قيمة الدلالة الإحصائية بلغت 0.000 < 0.05، ممّا يدلّ على قبول الفرضية البديلة (Ha) ورفض الفرضية الصفرية (H0) وبناءً على ذلك، تبيّن أنّ الوسائل التعليمية القائمة على التصميم الرقمي كانفا فعّالة في تنمية فهم المفردات العربية لطلاب الصف العاشر بمدرسة العالية الحكومية ١ جومبانج.
