Abstract

In the Independent Curriculum (Kurikum Merdeka), educators or teachers are given latitude in selecting and compiling teaching materials according to student’s needs and characteristics. The flexibility given to teachers in teaching and learning activities aims to make teachers more creative in developing appropriate teaching methods and materials. Likewise, when learning Arabic, educators can select relevant teaching materials but still refer to the learning outcomes that have been formulated. This certainly makes it easier for teachers to develop teaching materials based on student competencies and profiles. One of the easiest learning media to apply is an Android-based application. This dedication is to develop teaching materials based on learning by adding features that suit the needs and interests of users of this application, which can help improve Arabic language learning. The results of learning using games based on learning obtained an average assessment score on a Likert scale (1-5) with a score of 4.83 in terms of ease of User Interface, and 4.82 in terms of content suitability of the material. Then as many as 82.93% of respondents stated that they strongly agreed with the ease of the User Interface, and 81.71% of respondents stated that they strongly agreed with the material suitability content.

Abstract

Dalam era digital saat ini, kecurangan dalam ujian online menjadi perhatian serius yang mempengaruhi integritas akademik. Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi Linear Congruent Method (LCM) sebagai strategi pengacakan soal dalam sistem ujian Computer-Based Test (CBT) untuk meningkatkan keamanan dan mengurangi potensi kecurangan. Metode ini memanfaatkan algoritma pseudo-random untuk menghasilkan urutan soal yang berbeda bagi setiap peserta, sehingga meminimalisir risiko kebocoran dan prediksi soal. Penelitian ini melibatkan pengembangan sistem CBT yang mengintegrasikan LCM dan pengujian sistem melalui sepuluh sesi ujian dengan partisipasi pelajar yang beragam. Telah dilakukan 10 kali uji penggunaan sistem CBT berbasis LCM ini, dari grafik hasil uji tersebut dapat terlihat bahwa terdapat variasi dalam skor tertinggi, terendah, dan rata-rata di setiap sesi ujian, yang menunjukkan efektivitas pengacakan soal dalam menciptakan tingkat kesulitan yang berbeda dan situasi ujian yang unik untuk setiap peserta. Variasi ini juga menegaskan bahwa sistem pengacakan soal telah berhasil dalam meminimalisir risiko kecurangan dan memastikan penilaian yang adil dan objektif. Hasil ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan LCM dalam CBT dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan keamanan dan keadilan ujian online. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada literatur tentang teknologi pendidikan dengan menunjukkan bagaimana algoritma pengacakan dapat diintegrasikan dalam platform ujian untuk menangani tantangan kecurangan secara efektif.

Abstract

The development of technology in the field of education saw several advancements. One of these advancements was marked by the massive use of artificial intelligence technology, including in the evaluation of Arabic language learning. In response to this development, technological advancements had to be balanced with human competencies so that learning did not rely entirely on technology but was integrated with human thinking abilities. This research aimed to design an evaluation of Arabic reading skills based on the integration of Qalam AI and language teacher competencies. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, which was then practiced in learning through field experiments involving 150 respondents. Data collection methods include interviews, documentation, literature studies, and reading skill tests. The analysis used was descriptive analysis, as it focused solely on the evaluation design based on the integration of Qalam AI and language teacher competencies. Access to Qalam AI technology could be found at the website: https://qalam.ai/.  The results of the study indicated that the design of the evaluation for Arabic reading skills based on the integration of Qalam AI and language competencies could be simulated in six stages: 1) Arabic language learning based on Qalam AI, 2) Arabic reading skill tests, 3) Utilization of Qalam AI, 4) Application of language teacher competencies, 5) Diagnosis and placement, 6) Evaluation.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas hubungan antara kecerdasan buatan (AI), khususnya dalam konteks pembelajaran mendalam (deep learning), dan perspektif epistemologi. Seiring dengan berkembangnya AI yang berbasis data dan ateoretis, pendekatan ini menantang paradigma epistemologi tradisional yang berfokus pada teori dan justifikasi pengetahuan universal. AI, dengan kemampuannya untuk memberikan personalisasi berdasarkan data yang kontekstual, membawa perubahan signifikan terhadap cara kita memahami dan menghasilkan pengetahuan. Artikel ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana AI menggeser fokus epistemologi dari pencarian kebenaran universal menuju pengetahuan yang lebih dinamis dan terfokus pada kebutuhan individu, serta implikasi filsafat ilmu dalam mengevaluasi konsep-konsep dasar seperti kebenaran, justifikasi, dan teori pengetahuan. Penelitian ini mengajak pembaca untuk merenungkan peran AI sebagai agen epistemik yang tidak hanya memengaruhi teknologi, tetapi juga pemahaman kita tentang pengetahuan di era modern. Abstract

This study discusses learning listening skills using the Mind Maping method for 3rd semester Arabic Language Education students at UIN Malang at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. This study aims to determine the application and effectiveness of the application of concept maps in learning listening skills for students of Arabic Language Education Study Program UIN Malang semester 3. This research uses quantitative methods with data collection techniques namely questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. The analytical technique used is a Likert scale. The results showed that learning listening skills using the concept map method was good in both classes, namely 58.3% and 41.6% of the 4 Likert scale standards used.
