Abstract

One of the companies in the Cilegon area engaged in the construction industry has a high level of work risk. This company is required to implement an Occupational Safety and Health program to prevent workplace accidents.". Risk identification and assessment in this company has not used the HIRARC method as a basis for mitigation. This aims to identify the risk of work accidents, assess the risks, and recommend control measures. Based on the results of the data processing that has been carried out, the results show a low-risk risk value with a percentage of 0%, a moderate risk value with a percentage of 36%, a high-risk value with a percentage of 64%, and an extreme risk value with a percentage of 0%. Abstract

CV. Rifky Arafa, one of the companies engaged in garments that provides the needs of goods and services for making alma mater, suits, jackets, hats, togas, and bags, located in Kadu Genep Village, Petir District, Serang-Banten Regency. This research was conducted on 5 production operators of sewing machine parts. The purpose of this study was to determine how much calorie needs and how long rest periods needed by operators based on pulse rate and energy consumption and find out the optimal rest time for sewing machine part production process operators. This research method uses a physiological approach method with the calculation of measurement data of 10 pulses, from the calculation of the average working pulse rate (DNK) and cardiovascular load (%CVL) as well as the level of energy consumption needed by the operator when doing work, based on calculations using the highest average physiological approach of the work pulse rate (DNK) with a value of 90, 67 beats/minute and cardiovascular load (%CVL) with an indigo of 18.18% which classified as light workload and can be classified as not fatigue when working because of the value <30% if the %CVL value reaches 30% - 60% then repair or additional hours of rest time are needed. The calorie requirement required by the operator is 0.978 Kcal/min based on the calculation of energy consumption spent during work of 3.606 Kcal/min and energy expenditure at the time before work of 2.628 Kcal/min. For the determination of rest time through the calculation of energy consumption of 0.978 Kcal/min states that no rest time is needed during the work process at the production process operator. (Rt = 0) This means that the rest hours given or that have been set in the CV. Rifky Arafa which is 60 minutes is enough

Abstract

Lucky Setiawan, G.331.09.0034. Understanding the Communication Process of Rooster Fighting Lover Group in Area Manyaran. Thesis: Study Program S-1 Communication Study University of Semarang. This study aims to determine the communication process conducted in a group of Rooster Fighting Lover in western region of Semarang. In addition, it also learns the group communication process with people outside of this community. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method by describing the characteristics of the individual and the situation of a certain group. This study is simple that does not require a complicated theoretical basis or filing certain hypotheses. It is used the technique of collecting data through interviews and observations. It is concluded that in the process of communication that exist within this group, all members adhere only to a person who is considered as a senior. In addition the communication process of the group in responding protests outside is considered extreme. The group will not pay attention to the people comments.

Abstract

Writing is an essential skill that requires students to articulate their thoughts and convey messages through written texts. This is considered an essential skill that students must develop for their academic achievement. Miming activities offer a varied strategy for learning that enhances students’ communication skills, encourages their creativity, and promote active participation. Student often struggle with writing because they are afraid of making mistake in grammar, vocabulary, and language use. The purpose of this research was to enhance students’ writing skills through the use of miming games, with a particular focus on procedural texts, which are intended to explain how to perform or create something through a series of steps. The design of this research was quasi experimental. The eighth grade of MTS Mathla’ul Anwar served as the study’s population. The research sample was chosen using a cluster random sampling technique. Data was collected by using a pre-test and post-test. The result showed that the Sig. (2 tailed) value was 0.001, which is lower than α=0.05. This indicate that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, it can be concluded that miming games involve students through movement and action, creating a fun learning environment that helps them understand sequence, structure and vocabulary.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) telah mendorong lahirnya sistem otomatisasi rumah tangga atau Smart Home yang dapat meningkatkan kenyamanan, keamanan, dan efisiensi energi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis risiko dan kendala implementasi sistem Smart Home berbasis IoT yang dibangun menggunakan mikrokontroler ESP32 dan terintegrasi dengan platform Google Assistant serta Sinric Pro. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis studi eksperimen dengan model prototyping. Sistem diuji dalam simulasi rumah tangga dengan berbagai skenario untuk mengidentifikasi kinerja, kelemahan teknis, dan potensi risiko operasional. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu menjalankan fungsinya sesuai desain awal, namun terdapat kendala seperti ketergantungan tinggi pada koneksi internet, deteksi palsu dari sensor gas dan api, serta kompleksitas dalam proses integrasi antarsistem. Analisis risiko dan SWOT dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi kelayakan implementasi sistem. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya stabilitas jaringan, perencanaan teknis yang matang, serta edukasi pengguna sebagai faktor pendukung keberhasilan implementasi Smart Home berbasis IoT di lingkungan perumahan
