Abstract

This research aims to describe the fictionalities of classical Buginese literature, under the tittle of I La Galigo. Regarding the objective, the writer applies qualitative descriptive method through archetypal approach. Moreover, the techniques of this research are reading-listening and content analysis. The data of this research is the story of I La Galigo 1 of NBG188 version compiled by Arung Pancana Toa, a famous classical Buginese literature of its fiction from its age until today. The story has been chronicled and published by Djambatan in 1995. Based on the result of the analysis, it is found that the fictionalitises implied in I La Galigo are fictional events, such as: (1) fictionality of miracle experienced by Batara Guru down to the earth, (2) fictionality of day and night change in a short time, (4) fictionality of We Nyiliq Timoq incarnation above the water, (5) fictionality of miracle of We Nyiliq Timoq's heading to the land, and (6) fictionality of Batara Lattuq's birth. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan berbagai fiksionalitas yang terkandung dalam sastra Bugis klasik yang berjudul I La Galigo. Berkenaan dengan tujuan tersebut, penulis menerapkan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif melalui pendekatan arketipal. Adapun teknik penelitian yang ditempuh berupa: baca-simak dan analisis konten. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah kisah I La Galigo jilid 1 menurut naskah NBG 188 yang disusun oleh Arung Pancana Toa, salah satu bentuk sastra Bugis klasik yang sangat terkenal dengan fiksinya sejak zamannya hingga kini. Kisah tersebut telah dibukukan dan diterbitkan oleh Djambatan, tahun 1995. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditemukan bahwa fiksionalitas yang terkandung dalam kisah I La Galigo berupa peristiwa-peristiwa fiksi, antara lain: (1) fiksionalitas keajaiban yang dialami oleh Batara Guru turun ke bumi, (2) fiksionalitas pergantian siang dan malam dalam waktu singkat, (4) fiksionalitasp enjelmaan We Nyiliq Timoq di atas permukaan air, (5) fiksionalitas keajaiban penjemputanWeNyiliqTimoq menujudaratan, dan (6)fiksionalitaskelahiran Batara Lattuq.

Abstract

Literary works have value as literary if it implies poetic aspects. This research aims to describe the poetic aspects in the poems Wasiat Cinta analyzed by euphony and cacophony. Due to the aim, the writer applies qualitative method through intuitive and analytic approach. The techniques of this research are reading-listening, classification, and content analysis. The data of this research are the poems Air Laut Terbang Bersama Dua Matahari by Asia Ramli Prapanca, Kata Cinta Usia 51 and Selalu Ada Laut by Badaruddin Amir. Those poems are written in Wasiat Cinta: Mimbar Penyair Makassar book, published by Nala Cipta Litera in 2013. Based on the result of the analysis, it is found that the poems (1) Air Laut Terbang Bersama Dua Matahari contains euphonic elements to make the pronunciation and rhythm enunciated smoothly, and describes the atmosphere of pleasant situation and the happy meaning; (2) Kata Cinta Usia 51 contains cacophonic elements to obstruct the pronunciation and rhythm lines, describes the bad situation and the atmosphere of regret meaning; (3) Selalu Ada Laut contains euphonic elements show in the harmony and cacophonic elements that disorganize the previous harmony, then both of them should be synchronized with patience and strong belief to harmonize them.
