Abstract

Oyster mushrooms are one of the most widely cultivated edible mushrooms in Indonesia due to their high economic value and stable market demand. However, during the cultivation process, farmers often face challenges such as pest attacks from ants, centipedes, and snails. These conditions lead to a decrease in both the quality and quantity of the harvest. Farmers' limited knowledge in identifying pests and handling methods is one of the main causes of crop failure. Therefore, this study aims to design and develop a web-based expert system using the forward chaining method to assist farmers in diagnosing pests based on the symptoms observed. The system was developed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The forward chaining method is used to perform reasoning from symptoms to conclusions about the type of pest. Testing results show that the system functions as intended and is capable of providing accurate diagnoses and appropriate handling solutions. This system is expected to serve as an efficient alternative solution to improve the productivity of oyster mushroom cultivation.

Abstract

This research aims to providing alternative solutions to consumers in determining which products are right and suitable for the Ph of their facial skin. Shows that the expert system really helps users in solving problems, in terms of determining the type of cosmetics. Applying a web-based forward chaining method in program creation. Design/methodology/approach: The method used in creating the system to determine which products are suitable for the PH type of facial skin is the Forward Chaining method. Forward chaining is a search technique that starts with known facts, then matches these facts with the IF part of the IF-THEN rules. If there is a fact that matches the IF part, then the rule is executed. Findings/result: To determine the type of cosmetic product that is suitable, it will be analysed using a web-based forward changing method. Using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. Dreamweaver is a software application that is used as an editor. System analysis and design using starUMLOriginality/value/state of the art: From the research results, this expert system has an accuracy of 80% and functions quite well in determining the type of cosmetic product using a web-based forward changing method to make it easier for consumers to find the right cosmetics.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to support the digital transformation of SMEs, specifically KUBE Hishan Strawberry, which cultivates and sells strawberries and their processed products. The main challenges faced by partners include limited online promotion and sales, low digital technology literacy, and the lack of an online platform to expand market reach. As a solution, the team developed a web-based marketing application equipped with business profiles, product catalogs, online ordering, and stock management features, using a participatory approach to empower partners to manage their business independently. Furthermore, marketing and financial management strategies were socialized to enhance business competitiveness. The activity also included Microsoft Office training to support administration and financial record-keeping, as well as training on creating and managing social media platforms for digital promotion. Through the integration of the website and social media, KUBE Hishan Strawberry was able to expand its market reach, improve business efficiency, and build a stronger brand image.

Abstract

The use of information technology in school management is a crucial requirement to support the effectiveness of administration and academic services. SMA Negeri 1 Padang Panjang has been using information technology and the national data collection system DAPODIK, but the school's internal data management is still not optimally integrated across work units. This condition causes data disintegration that has the potential to hinder the efficiency of school information management. This community service activity aims to implement, socialize, and educate the school about the use of the SIBAS (Joint Information System Between Schools) system as an integrated school information system. The implementation method includes needs analysis, system installation and configuration, socialization, and mentoring the school in using SIBAS. The results of the activity indicate an increase in the school's understanding of the importance of an integrated information system and the ability to utilize SIBAS to support the management of academic data, administration, and school information services. Thus, the implementation of the SIBAS system at SMA Negeri 1 Padang Panjang is expected to support the realization of more effective, efficient, and information technology-based school management.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how to make a web application that can control electronic devices in the building, find out how to make motion sensor circuits with Arduino Mega, electronic devices can be on or off, and find out which one is more efficient in using web applications and sensors. motion on the building.
