Abstract

The 2017 DKI Jakarta Pilkada presents an account of the political disputes that occurred, as well as the prevalence of racial and ethnic difficulties, which have long given rise to horizontal conflicts. This incident provided significant impetus to participate in attempts to strengthen community resilience as a result of social disputes generated by political events such as the Pilkada. The purpose of this research is to look at the resilience of the communities in DKI Jakarta during the Pilkada conflict mentioned above. This study employs a qualitative approach, as well as tools for locating data in documents and archives. Data from the field suggest that the exploitation of racial concerns by specific groups, as well as other issues such as intimidation, insults, and the sharing of inflammatory photographs and videos, contributed to the heightened severity of conflict in the 2017 Pilkada in DKI Jakarta. As a result, it is critical to enhance community resilience in three ways: build the resilience of an established social system, strengthen the community's responsiveness to internal and external changes through social capital building, and carry out social transformation through political education.

Abstract

Abstract - Dolly is part of the Surabaya city which is located in Putat Jaya District. The money flows in Dolly for a night reached 1 billion rupiah. This fact forced people from some groups to take benefits in Dolly’s economy activities. In other hand, social groups were still strongly maintain the moral aspects from Dolly closure, escpecially for children rights protection. Children about 14 to 16 years old often became the actors from human trafficking that offered their own friends. Beside that, children at lower ages acted as sex addict from sex media. These findings informed us the Dolly closure were not easy. As Risma, the Surabaya Mayor, Dolly closure was a must that would need a strong effort to manage and control its impacts. The Dolly closing which conducted on 18 June 2014 had economic, social, and politic impacts.  The closing program need to be discuss by all aspects in Surabaya. It should be emphasize people from Dolly to have enough skill for their family income.Keywords – Commercial Sex Worker, Dolly, Power interplay

Abstract

 Kegiatan kampanye merupakan bagian dari proses Pemilu yang dilakukan masing-masing calon legislatif untuk memasarkan visi dan misinya kepada pemilih. Partai Solidaritas Indonesia (PSI) sebagai partai baru bergantung kepada media sosial guna mendukung strategi marketing politik dalam pembentukan citra dan upaya pengumpulan dukungan. Berdasarkan data penduduk, diperkirakan hampir 40 persen pemilih potensial merupakan pemilih pemula. Hal ini menjadi peluang bagi PSI untuk mendapatkan suara dari pemuda dan kalangan milenial. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi strategi komunikasi politik calon legislatif terpilih Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Tangerang Selatan di tahun 2019 dari Fraksi PSI.  Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data malalui wawancara secara langsung dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi komunikasi politik caleg PSI terpilih menggunakan Push Strategy yaitu mengkomunikasikan pesan anti intoleransi dan anti korupsi. Pull Strategy, penggunaan media baik media online maupun media massa. Pass Strategy, menggunakan jejaring partai dan elemen komunitas seperti tim pemenangan dari tingkat daerah dan cabang, serta komunitas non partai. Selain itu juga digunakan straegi melalui political branding dengan membuat tagline “muda, religius dan professional.”

Abstract

Tujuan dalam pengabdian ini adalah melakukan pemetaan terhadap potensi desa di Desa Kuripan Kecamatan Ciseeng Kabupaten Bogor Jawa Barat.  Metode analisis yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut adalah dengan menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa selcara umum Desa Kuripan memiliki potensi di sektor pertanian, peternakan, perkebunan, perikanan, industri dan perdagangan. Untuk mengoptimalkan potensi desa yang dimiliki, diperlukan peran semua kalangan pemerintah dan masyarakat dan meningkatkan optimalisasi pengelolaan BUMDes.

Abstract

Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) merupakan kawasan-kawasan hijau dalam bentuk taman-taman kota, hutan kota, jalur-jalur hijau ditepi atau ditengah jalan, bantaran tepi sungai atau tepi jalur kereta, halaman setiap bangunan dari semua fungsi yang termasuk dalam Garis Sempadan Bangunan dan Koefisien Dasar. Kebijakan tentang RTH di kota Surabaya merupakan elemen penting dalam pembangunan berkelanjutan. Pada kajian ini dapat dilihat dari implementasi Perda yang berjalan dengan tidak konsisten karena Pemkot Surabaya melakukan interpretasi atas konsep RTH. Kajian ini menggunakan teori relasi kuasa sebagai kekuasaan yang dibangun atas dasar kolaborasi dengan pihak swasta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data diperoleh dengan wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif dengan model deskriptif eksplanatif dengan “triangulasi”. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa Pengelolaan RTH yang berdampak pada pengembalian kembali lahan konservasi. Hal ini bertolak belakang dengan kebijakan Pemkot Sebelumnya yang menjadikan Pamurbaya sebagai kawasan pemukiman. Implementasi program muncul polemik yang berkaitan dengan konsistensi Pemkot Surabaya dalam menjalankan Perda No. 3 Tahun 2007. Pemkot melakukan interpretasi sendiri terhadap perda berkaitan dengan kawasan lindung (hutan mangrove) yang ada di pesisir pantai serta ruang terbuka hijau. Kondisi ini menempatkan wajah Kota Surabaya lebih berpihak pada kapitalis dengan dominasi penamaan ruang sesuai dengan nama pengembang, seperti Pakuwon Center, Citraland.

Abstract

Farmers in Kuripan Village cultivate cassava plants. Some farmers plant to get the tubers and others grow to harvest the leaves (oyek). The harvest obtained has not contributed significantly to the income of the farmer's household. For cassava tubers it takes 7 months to harvest while oyek takes a month to harvest. Low prices and market opportunities through middlemen have prevented farmers from relying on their land optimally. As a village assisted by the University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta, the Community Service team provides training to optimized land use by diversifying and regulating cropping patterns to cassava farmers. The targets and outcomes, first, increase the knowledge and skills of farmers to choosing the right plants according to the physical conditions to diversification. Through crop diversification, it will minimize crop failure because more than one type of plant is planted. Second, farmers have skills to design appropriate cropping patterns so the farmers have income continuity throughout the year and loss of soil nutrients at harvest can be minimized so that soil fertility can be save.

Abstract

Voter participation in an election is often a measure of election success. The higher the level of participation, the higher the public's trust in the election process and the stronger the legitimacy of the elected leader. The City of South Tangerang, which has participated in the regional elections three times until the last election in 2020, has had an interesting experience regarding voter participation. In the previous regional elections, namely in 2010 and 2015, voter participation was never more than 60%. In the 2010 elections, voter participation only reached 56.9%, and in the 2015 elections even decreased to only 56.8%. This number is very far from the average target for regional election participation. In 2020 elections were held during a pandemic, and there was concern that voter participation would decline further. In fact, voter participation rose to 60.48%. From the initial survey, it was found that the KPU of South Tangerang City before the election was worried that participation would decline, so they developed a strategy to increase voter participation. This study aims to determine the strategy for increasing voter participation carried out by the KPU of South Tangerang City in the 2020 elections and to find out the challenges, obstacles, and supporting strengths. The theory used in this study is the theory of voter participation from Hungtinfton, Verba, and Kaats, as well as findings in journals related to strategies for increasing participation. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. Data analysis: qualitative based on Miles and Huberman. Test the Validity of the Data using Triangulation. The result research showed that the KPU of South Tangerang City, in an effort to increase the level of political participation, used a strategy with the P Process model by starting to use vision and mission analysis, identifying problems, formulating strategies by making activities plans, implementing strategies through socialization with five types of activities: competitions, virtual meetings, print journalism, social media and distribution of visual aids for socialization purposes. All implementations are monitored and evaluated both in the middle and at the end of the activities.

Abstract

Politik Identitas merupakan alat politik yang dimanfaatkan oleh kelompok kelompok tertentu untuk kepentinganya sendiri dengan memanfaatkan isu etnis, suku, budaya atau agama untuk menunjang eksistensi kekuatan politik dalam pemilu. Politik identitas berbahaya karena mengabaikan heterogenitas sehingga dapat menimbulkan jurang pemisah antar masyarakat. Politik identitas dalam pemilihan Presiden di Indonesia pertama kali mencuat pada pemilu 2014 dan kembali muncul pada tahu 2019. Penggunaan politik identitas pada pemilihan Presiden 2019 diawali dengan dilakukannya Ijtima Ulama dalam menentukan calon Wakil Presiden yang akan mendampingi Prabowo Subianto, selain itu politik identitas pemilihan Presiden 2019 juga dibarengi dengan isu-isu berita bohong (hoax) dan juga ujaran kebencian seperti isu PKI, kriminalisasi ulama, isu tenaga kerja asing terutama dari Tiongkok dan lain lain yang dibingkai dan disebarkan melalui berbagai media online dan juga media sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pandangan elit masyarakat desa Cicalengka serta mengetahui faktor faktor yang mempengaruhi pandangan elit masyarakat desa Cicalengka pada isu politik identitas dalam kampanye pemilihan Presiden dan Wakil Presiden. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan 11 orang informan yang terdiri dari 3 orang tokoh masyarakat, 3 orang tokoh agama, 2 orang tokoh Pendidikan dan 3 orang aparatur pemerintahan Desa Cicalengka. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tokoh masyarakat dan tokoh agama Desa Cicalengka memberikan pandangan bahwa politik identitas sah sah saja digunakan namun tidak ditujukan untuk menyudutkan seseorang karena dapat menimbulkan perpecahan. Sedangkan tokoh pendidikan dan aparatur pemerintahan Desa Cicalengka menyatakan bahwa politik identitas tidak boleh digunakan karena rentan menimbulkan konflik SARA. Adapun pandangan elit masyarakat desa cicalengka tersebut dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal yaitu pengalaman dan faktor eksternal yaitu pengetahuan.

Abstract

Role of regional government in socializing the policy produced by SKPD of this local government is an obligation for every apparatus to socialize that policy so that the society, as the main receiver of the related polciy, will get their rights and obligations properly. The communication of regional government in this research can be discussed in more explicit regarding the flow of that communication delivery from the government to the community. The method used in this research was decriptive with qualitative approach and applied the theory of Edward III to see the stages of communication in its role in socializing the policy of the Government of South Tangerang City. Those types of socialization media were main instruments of regional government pf South Tangerang to socialize policies. There was another type of socialization namely direct media or socializing to every neighbourhood. The conclusion of this research was that the socializing of policies has been conducting through various types of media; online, printed, and electronics. The Office of Communication and Informatics of South Tangerang City played its role also in regards to socialization by cooperating with Press Councils to monitor the behaviors of media. It is suggested that th e Government of South Tangerang City keeps improving their performance in socializing policies so that these will reach the purposes of the policies produced in order to build law order society towards the policies made.
