Abstract

Budaya literasi yang digalakkan pemerintah melalui pelaksanaan kurikulum 2013 menjadi fokus perhatian dan harus dilaksanakan secara kontinyu oleh lembaga pendidikan formal mulai dari sekolah dasar. Perlu adanya usaha untuk menumbuhkan kecintaan siswa secara alami dan kecintaan siswa dalam membaca tidak dipaksakan. Kegiatan literasi harus dilakukan melalui suatu kondisi yang menyenangkan. Oleh sebab itu perlu adanya suatu buku literasI yang menarik bagi siswa dan mendorong siswa untuk cinta membaca tanpa paksaan dari siapapun. Salah satu buku literasi yang dapat digunakan adalah buku literasi berbasis pop up book. Melalui buku literasi berbasis pop up book siswa akan dihadapkan dengan aktivitas membaca yang menyenangkan, menarik, dan bermakna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menghasilkan buku literasi berbasis pop up book pada siswa sekolah dasar, (2) mengetahui kelayakan buku literasi berbasis pop up book, dan (3) mengetahui respon siswa terhadap buku literasi berbasis pop up book yang dikembangkan. Prosedur pengembangan dalam penelitian ini mengacupada prosedur penelitian pengembangan model 4-D yang dibatasi sampai tahap develop. Langkah pengembangan tersebut yaitu: (1)Tahap pendefinisian (define), (2)Tahap perancangan (design), dan (3) Tahap pengembangan (develop). Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar validasi, angket respon siswa, skala penilaian, dan skala respon siswa. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa penggunaan buku literasi berbasis pop up book valid dan layak digunakan sebagai bahan bacaan di sekolah dasar dan mendapat respon yang bagus dari siswa yaitu mereka sangat tertarik dengan buku literasi berbasis pop up

Abstract

Abstract: On the covid-19 pandemic, all of the education systems are conducted online. In online learning, the 4th-grade students of SDN Tegalrejo Tulungagung use Whatsapp. Online learning using Whatsapp refers to the 2013 curriculum, which is several sub-theme into a theme. The 2013 curriculum has some attitudes which are needed to learn. One of them is a responsible attitude. This study's responsibility attitude consists of two indicators: 1) fulfill its obligations, and 2) self-discipline. This research was conducted in grade 4 SD Negeri Tegalrejo Tulungagung. The research design in this study was qualitative research with a descriptive system. The data collecting method of this study were questionnaire, interview, and documentation. Data analysis in this study used transcripts of the results of questionnaires and interviews, data reduction, data interpretation, and triangulation. This study's work from students' questionnaire shown students' responsibility attitude in online learning using WhatsApp on Theme 9 Sub-theme 3 Lesson 3 get a percentage of 91%; it is classified as "very good."

Abstract

The caring character for the environment is an attitude and an action to prevent the environmental damage. The purpose of this study is to describe Students’ Caring Character for the environment at Bangoan II Elementary Adiwiyata School, Tulungagung. The type of approach in this research was qualitative with descriptive methods. The research subjects Were 2A, 3A, 4A, and 5A grade students of Bangoan II Elementary Adiwiyata School which each group is consisted of 5 students. The reaserch data was collected by using questionnaire instruments and interview sheets. The results showed that students of SD Negeri II Bangoan have a high character of environmental care. The research result has shown that the students highly have environmental caring character which is supported by using a questionnaire and interview that is included four indicators of environmental care including: energy saving, waste management, water utilization, and caring for the surrounding environment. Based on this result, authors concluded that  the 3A Grade Students' caring character are higher than the 2A, 4A, and 5A grade student which are showed that 3A Grade Students' caring character is in very high category, while the 2A, 4A, and 5A is in very high category. Abstract

The lack of the cognitive learning on the material of building is background of this research. It is proved of almost students that getting of lower score in criteria completeness of minimum (KKM). One of alternative solution from this problem is apply of contextual approach with REACT strategy. The purpose of this research to describe there is any influence between contextual approach and REACT strategy for the result of lesson special on building material. This research is quantitative research design with quasi experimental. The research show that there is any influence between contextual approach and REACT strategy for the cognitive learning. The analysis of data t-test show that score Sig.(2-tailed) < 0,05 is 0,000 < 0,05.Keywords: contextual approach, react strategy, cognitive learning, building space

Abstract

The Creativity is very needed to manage plastic waste become something new and can be re-used, because in Wonokromo district at Tulungagung was still many plastics waste that wasted and just fired, finally can be caused air-polution. The purpose of this research to know there is any creativity from students to manage plastic waste to be creative product that have a new value. Creative product that resulted from students at class 3 at SDN 1 Wonokromo valued with three criterias, it is: newness, fission, and detailed. Data collection methods that used is observation, interview, and documentation. The instrument that used is observation with ratting scale in create a data, and also use data of interview and documentation to support a data that a result of researcher. From this analysis data that result show that there is any creativity of students in class 3 at SDN 1 Wonokromo is very good because from fourteen students only one student that have a good criteria. The higher presentation is 94% and the lower is 68%.Keywords: creativity, creative products, plastic waste

Abstract

The results of observations in the village of Rejotangan Tulungagung show that the obstacles experienced by students who are in elementary school in online learning are the limited use of learning technology, which is caused by the absence of guidance from both teachers and parents in the use of learning technology in the digital era. Learning is carried out only through WhatsApp (WA) group media for sharing materials and giving assignments without using other digital learning media. The condition of the lack of knowledge on the use of learning technology in the digital era will certainly be a long-term obstacle if it is not overcome, therefore this program of community service activities in the village of Rejotangan Tulungagung is held to optimize and develop educational learning media, especially for elementary school teachers or equivalent. Results of the interview with Wakakur MIN 5 Tulungagung, Rejotangan village, it is known that the media used in online learning is WA group and google classroom which causes students to be less enthusiastic. This community service activity aims to introduce and assist MIN 5 Tulungagung teachers in making effective learning media using Kinemaster which is later expected to increase student enthusiasm in online learning. The method of implementing the activities is in the form of a problem solving framework and the realization of problem solving. The targets in this activity are 15 teachers from low and high grades. The result of this activity is the achievement of the target of 80% which means the activity is successful and the participants are enthusiastically followed from beginning to end. The obstacle in this activity is that there are 2-3 teachers whose cellphone memory is not sufficient to download the kinemaster application. The follow-up to this activity is that similar activities are carried out with a longer time.

Abstract

Online learning is internet-assisted learning without direct face-to-face. Online learning has several weaknesses, including limited internet quota, children who are not comfortable studying at home, time constraints for parents in accompanying children to study, and so on that causes children not to focus on learning. Parents play an important role, especially in terms of providing understanding to their children regarding the covid-19 outbreak, staying at home, and accompanying their children in learning. Like the people in Kedungwaru Village, many parents feel overwhelmed by accompanying their children to study at home. Obstacles faced include parents having to rack their brains to divide their time between working and accompanying their children to study, parents' lack of understanding of children's learning materials, and limited internet quota. Therefore, this Community Service (PkM) aims to help children in Kedungwaru village by assisting children in learning by using online and offline learning media. The method of implementing the activities includes the preparation stage (initial survey and problem identification), implementation stage (socialization and assistance in utilizing online and offline learning media for 8 elementary school students and 2 junior high school students in Kedungwaru Tulungagung village), program evaluation stage, and finally reporting. The results obtained in this activity, the community in Kedungwaru village, elementary and junior high school students were helped in understanding the material taught by the teacher online. The use of online and offline learning media increases enthusiasm for learning because by using the media, they can immediately practice practicum-based learning activities, such as the use of caliper, screw micrometer, and the process of blowing balloons using baking soda and vinegar. The follow-up plan for this activity is the continuation of PkM activities in the following year.

Abstract

Pemerintah saat ini menetapkan suatu kurikulum baru yaitu kurikulum 2013 sebagai hasil dari perkembangan Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP). Dari segi penilaian dan pendekatan yang digunakan terdapat perbedaan, yaitu penilaian pada kurikulum 2013 adalah penilaian autentik dan pendekatan saintifik atau pendekatan berbasis proses keilmuan. Pendekatan saintifik sangat cocok sekali dengan karakteristik pembelajaran IPA. Siswa diarahkan untuk membandingkan hasil prediksi siswa dengan teori melalui kegiatan eksperimen dengan menggunakan metode ilmiah dalam belajar IPA sesuai dengan maksud diterapkannya pendekatan saintifik dalam proses pembelajaran. Hal ini dapat berjalan dengan baik sesuai dengan harapan tentunya jika didukung dengan sumber belajar yang dapat menjadikan proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih terarah yaitu LKS. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan LKS IPA SMP Berbasis Pendekatan Saintifik untuk Melatihkan Keterampilan Proses Siswa yang disusun berdasarkan model pengembangan4-D. Proses pengembangan LKS meliputi empat tahapan yaitu: Define ,Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Hasil penelitian dari penelitian ini adalah LKS berbasis Pendekatan Saintifik yang telah dikembnagkan mampu melatihkan keterampilan proses IPA siswa. Hal ini didukung dari hasil penelitian yaitu rata-rata persentase dari kelima aspek keterampilan proses sains tersebut, berada dalam kategori baik dan sangat baik dengan perolehan persentase total antara 72% sampai 96%.

Abstract

Matakuliah yang masuk ke dalam rumpun Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) salah satunya adalah matakuliah Kimia dasar . Salah satu cara untuk mengajarkan ilmu kimia secara utuh adalah melalui kegiatan praktikum. Hambatan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan praktikum pada matakuliah praktikum kimia dasar di Universitas Bhinneka PGRI adalah belum tersedianya panduan praktikum. Pengembangan panduan praktikum kimia dasar berbasis Sains, Lingkungan, Teknologi, dan Masyarakat (SALINGTEMAS) ini adalah salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi hambatan tersebut. Tujuan pengembangan panduan praktikum ini adalah untuk mengembangkan dan mendeskripsikan kelayakan produk pengembangan berupa panduan praktikum kimia dasar berbasis SALINGTEMAS. Ada empat tahapan dalam proses pengembangan modul ini yaitu pada tahap pertama menyusun kerangka panduan praktikum berdasarkan dari pengembangan alat, spesifikasi, dan standarnya; tahap kedua yaitu mencocokkan panduan praktikum yang sudah dikembangkan dengan kerangkanya; tahap ketiga yaitu meninjau dan memperbaiki panduan praktikum yang sudah dikembangkan; dan tahap keempat yaitu mengimplementasikan produk akhir dari panduan praktikum. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa panduan praktikum kimia dasar berbasis SALINGTEMAS yang telah dikembangkan memperoleh persentase uji kelayakan oleh ahli materi sebesar 88% dan ahli media sebesar 84%. Persentase rata-rata respon mahasiswa sebesar 84%. Artinya, panduan praktikum kimia dasar berbasis SALINGTEMAS layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.
