Abstract

The capital market is a vehicle that can mobilise long-term funds from the public to be channelled into productive sectors. The purpose of the capital market in Indonesia is not only to mobilise funds from the public so that they can be channelled into productive sectors, but also to realise income distribution through ownership of company shares. This goal can be achieved gradually with the increasing number and types of securities traded in line with the increasing number of institutions that support the implementation of the capital market. This study aims to determine the effect of earning per share and price earning ratio (PER) on stock returns in Wood and Lumber industry companies that go public on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2005-2007. The analysis method used in this research is multiple linear regression with SPSS version 12.0. The results of this study can be concluded that: (1) Earning per share has a positive effect on stock returns, because the significance value is smaller than 0.05 and one of the considerations of investors besides risk is the return they will get in the form of a share of net income distributed to shareholders, (2) Price earning ratio has no effect on stock returns, because the significance value is greater than 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership and compensation on employee performance, with work motivation as a moderating variable at the Batik Benang Raja Surabaya Store. Using quantitative methods, this study involved the entire population of 46 permanent employees as research samples. Data analysis used moderated linear regression. The results showed that transformational leadership had no significant effect on employee performance (p = 0.847). Work motivation was also found to be unable to moderate the relationship between transformational leadership and performance (p = 0.696), this is suspected because the employee's educational profile prioritizes fulfilling material needs. Conversely, compensation was proven to have a significant and positive effect on employee performance (p = 0.00). Work motivation significantly strengthened the effect of compensation on performance (p = 0.012). These findings imply that the Company needs to maintain a proper compensation system and increase work motivation to optimize employee performance.

Abstract

Abstract. Sales management is undergoing a digital transformation driven by AI tools like Seamless AI and Einstein (Sales AI), which are reshaping B2B customer journeys. Grounded in dynamic capabilities theory, this study examines how B2B firms integrate AI into sales processes. We propose that marketing agility—defined by proactivity, responsiveness, and speed—mediates the relationship between AI adoption and sales team performance in uncertain markets. Furthermore, the research investigates how marketing influence and internal organizational climate moderate these dynamics. Data were gathered from B2B sales managers at firms with over 100 employees and at least $1 million in annual revenue. The findings highlight that strategic AI adoption must align with marketing agility to effectively boost firm performance. This study contributes to emerging literature on the facilitators of agility within the B2B sector.

Abstract

This study explores gaps in the literature on tax fraud (TAFR) by examining how corruption perceptions (COPER) and financial uncertainty (FIUN) influence TAFR. It also investigates whether moral disengagement (MORD) acts as a mediator in these relationships. In doing so, we apply social cognitive theory (SCT) as the framework. Uniquely, this study is based on insights gathered from the owners of Indonesian small-sized enterprises operating in East Java Province. The findings suggest that COPER does not directly cause TAFR but influences it indirectly through MORD. This challenges the idea that being aware of corruption automatically leads to unethical behaviour. On the other hand, FIUN has a direct impact on TAFR that economic hardship can drive people to make immediate, practical decisions to survive, without relying on cognitive justifications. Theoretically, this study highlights how corruption and financial pressures work together to shape unethical choices related to tax compliance. Practically, this study offers valuable insights for policymakers and regulators. In general, this study provides a more comprehensive view of tax fraud by moving beyond simple cause-and-effect models to a deeper understanding of its drivers in emerging economies.
