Abstract

Road lighting is important for transportation activities, especially at night. The design of this Hybrid plant has a working principle that is utilizing wind gusts from a passing vehicle to turn the turbine blade and the heat of solar radiation that is absorbed through the solar panel with the sun tracking system. Parameter data that influence in the design of Hybrid Generations are variations in the number of turbine blades, turbine angle, wind speed, turbine drive rotor height, density of air and heat of solar radiation. The purpose of the problem in Designing Hybrid VAWT generating systems with the optimal angle of the turbine and Solar Cell automatically to be able to meet the electrical energy requirements for street lighting. The research method used in design through three stages, namely literature review, Technical Design and preparation of work tools and materials. The design results show that the optimal type u vertical wind turbine for toll road lighting with 3 blades and an optimal angle size of 90 0C, rotor diameter of 400 mm, rotor height of 1000 mm for average wind speed of 13.9 m / s. and Average solar heat of 28 0C with an average panel temperature of 55.3 0C using the Timer switch as a solar tracking system. The design of the plant, produces turbine power of 0.93 V to 1.17 V at 122 rpm to 214 rpm. And the solar panel produces a panel voltage of 19.59 V and an average voltage on the battery of 14 V. The stored electrical energy is able to light two LED lights with a power of 15 Watt and last for 12 hours / dayKeywords— Hybrid Power Generation, Optimal Angle, Timer Switch

Abstract

Abstract: Problems is faced by partners which is that limited skills, limited financial problems and limited support by various parties, such as government, private and universities. The team devotion from Teuku Umar University of Meulaboh made an activity to solve partner problems with giving some approach method that is giving and training of welding technique and managerial of business and opening of welding workshop. The location of partners is about 1 km from the Teuku Umar University campus in Ujong Tanoh Darat Village, Meureubo Sub-district, West Aceh District. The determination location of the welding workshop and the determination partners is based on the results of the deliberation UTU service team with the village apparatus, such as the Village Head, Dusun Head, and other village apparatuses. Time of implementation activities is carried out within 10 months with stages are the stages of literature study, site survey activities, feasibility study group of beneficiaries, training and opening of welding workshop, and monitoring and evaluation of welding workshop. The result of giving material about welding technique and managerial welding workshop give good input for the participant, so that the participants become understand and have motivation in running the workshop business. Direct welding technique training provides a good understanding for the participants and provides an example of direct welding techniques on job objects. Welding workshop provides new jobs for less productive people around Teuku Umar University and increase income for the beneficiaries.

Abstract

PT. Ujong Neubok Dalam (UND) is a company engaged in oil palm plantations and processing of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and Kernel Palm Oil (PKO). In carrying out its production, the company has various variations of machines that are used to facilitate the production process, one of which is a screw press machine. A screw press is a machine used to chop and crush palm fruit to produce palm oil and separate oil from shells, nuts, and fibers. Screw press machines in CPO production have a very important role because if the screw press machine experiences insufficient pressure, it will affect the quality and quantity of the CPO oil produced. The purpose of this study was to analyze the magnitude of the effect of screw press pressure on the process of pressing fruit flesh into CPO at PT UND. The method used is a quantitative method through the calculation of screw press force, screw press pressure, and hydraulic pressure. The result obtained is that the pressure given by the screw press machine is 18.32 Bar / Psi with a standard hydraulic pressure that functions as a holder, namely 50-60 Bar / Psi, while the comparison analysis is known that the screw press pressure and hydraulic pressure at 50 Bar / Psi have a ratio of 1: 2, 7 and at 60 BarPsi have a ratio of 1: 3.2

Abstract

This study aims to look at the performance of the solar water heater collector with the addition of a reflector. Reflector is used to increase the absorption of solar radiation. The test was carried out by varying the water flow rate in the pipe, namely 75 l/hour, 150 l/hour and 225 l/hour with a collector tilt angle of 30°. Tests are carried out every one hour, starting at 09.00-16.00 WIB for each variation. Parameters measured in this study included glass temperature, inlet water temperature, outlet water temperature, pipe temperature, absorber temperature, ambient temperature and wind speed. The results showed that the highest efficiency occurred at a flow rate of 225 l/hour, which was 62.44% at IT 3,366 MJ/m2, and the highest ratio of outlet water temperature and inlet water temperature was 1.51 at a flow rate of 75l/h. Adding a reflector to the coverslip can increase collector efficiency.

Abstract

The development of the times has changed the pattern of people's mobility, and aviation has become one of the popular modes of air transportation. However, flight delays that are sometimes experienced by passengers can cause both material and immaterial losses. Therefore, consumer protection is important to be guaranteed by the airline. The research method used is quantitative with a normative-empirical legal approach. Empirical research was conducted through interviews with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation to obtain primary data, while normative research was carried out by reviewing laws and regulations and related legal materials. The results of the study show that flight delays are a problem that is often experienced by passengers at SIM Aceh Besar Airport. From the results of the interviews and data collected, it was found that airlines do not always treat passengers well in dealing with delay situations, which should be in accordance with applicable regulations. Law Number 1 of 2009 concerning Aviation emphasizes the obligation of airlines to provide proper service to passengers, including in overcoming flight delays, and providing appropriate compensation if the delay is caused by the airline. In addition, the results of the study also revealed that Article 146 of the Law states that airlines are liable for losses suffered due to delays, unless caused by weather and operational technical factors. However, from interviews with passengers who experienced delays at SIM Aceh Besar Airport, it can be seen that they do not always provide compensation in accordance with the provisions, so they do not fulfill their obligations in providing consumer protection.

Abstract

A judge in the Mahkamah Syar'iyah handed down different sentences in cases of sexual harassment. In Case Decision Number 6/JN/2019/MS.Mbo, the judge imposed a sentence of 30 lashes, while in Case Decision Number 7/JN/2017/MS.Mbo, a prison sentence of 24 months was given. This research aims to analyze the judge's considerations in imposing caning and imprisonment as well as the legal review of these punishments. The research method used is normative juridical research with the aim of uncovering the judge's considerations in delivering the verdicts. The legal materials used include primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively. The results of the research indicate that the judge’s consideration in imposing caning or imprisonment involved examining the charges filed by the public prosecutor, witness statements during the trial, the prosecutor's demands, the defendant's defense, the fulfillment or lack thereof of the elements of sexual harassment committed by the perpetrator, and factors that could either mitigate or aggravate the sentence based on the facts revealed in court. Legally, disparity in sexual harassment cases is permissible because the punishment threat is alternative in nature, allowing judges to choose caning, fines, or imprisonment, except in cases of sexual harassment with child victims. Following SEMA Number 2 of 2020, caning must be imposed on perpetrators in such cases. [Hakim Mahkamah Syar’iyah menjatuhkan hukuman yang berbeda pada kasus pelecehan seksual. Pada putusan Nomor Kasus 6/JN/2019/MS.Mbo hakim menjatuhkan hukuman dengan jumlah 30 kali cambuk. Sementara pada putusan Nomor 7/JN/2017/MS.Mbo dijatuhkan dengan hukuman 24 bulan. Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis pertimbangan hakim dalam menjatuhkan hukuman cambuk dan penjara serta tinjauan yuridis terhadap penjatuhan hukuman tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian yuridis normatif dengan tujuan untuk mengungkapkan pertimbangan hakim dalam menjatuhkan putusan. Bahan hukum yang digunakan yaitu bahan hukum primer, bahan hukum sekunder dan bahan hukum tertier. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertimbangan hakim menjatuhkan ‘uqubat cambuk maupun penjara dengan mempertimbangkan dakwaan yang dituntut oleh penuntut umum, keterangan saksi di persidangan, tuntutan yang diajukan oleh penuntut umum, pembelaan yang disampaikan oleh terdakwa, terpenuhi atau tidaknya unsur pelecehan seksual yang dilakukan oleh pelaku dan hal-hal yang dapat meringankan maupun memberatkan sesuai dengan fakta-fakta yang terungkap di persidangan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa disparitas putusan dalam kasus pelecehan seksual di Mahkamah Syar’iyah dapat dibenarkan secara hukum karena adanya fleksibilitas dalam aturan pemidanaan, meskipun setelah SEMA No. 2 Tahun 2020, pilihan hukuman menjadi lebih terbatas untuk kasus pelecehan seksual terhadap anak].

Abstract

This study conducted to get drying equipment a moringa leaf using air temperature from an air conditioning condenser. The first steps taken were collecting research literature, formulating problems, and design a drying equipment moringa leaf (moringa oleifera) using air temperature from an air conditioning condenser. Drying equipment tool made from plywood, wood, aluminum foil, styrofoam, and pipe channel to drying equipment. It works by utilizing air from the air conditioning condenser which is channeled through a pipe channel to drying equipment. The test was carried with modification intake channel to drying equipment without suction fan and using suction fan. Data collection is carried out every 30 minutes for 7 hours which starting from 10.00 AM to 05.00 PM. A sample of 800 grams of wet moringa leaf was placed on each drying rack. The result study without suction fan in the drying equipment show average temperature air from the condenser of 31.17 °C, average humidity of 68.8%, and a reduction in water content of moringa leaf of 35.5%. Meanwhile, the test using an air suction fan in the drying equipment was average temperature air from the condenser 34.10 °C, average humidity was 62.30% and the reduction in water content of moringa leaf was 40.8%. The drying rate of moringa leaf in the test using an exhaust fan is 0.0138 kg/hour, while the drying rate of moringa leaf in the test without using an exhaust fan is 0.01 kg/hour.

Abstract

Artikel ini menganalisis perbedaan historis dan konseptual antara Proklamasi Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia pada tanggal 17 Agustus 1945 dan pengesahan Undang-Undang Dasar 1945 pada tanggal 18 Agustus 1945 dalam perspektif hukum tata negara. Permasalahan utama yang dikaji adalah kecenderungan penyamaan makna Proklamasi sebagai satu-satunya momen kelahiran negara, tanpa membedakan antara konsep bangsa dan negara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian hukum normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan, konseptual, dan historis terbatas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Proklamasi 17 Agustus 1945 merupakan pernyataan kelahiran bangsa Indonesia sebagai entitas politik yang merdeka, namun belum membentuk negara dalam pengertian yuridis-konstitusional. Negara Indonesia secara normatif baru lahir setelah pengesahan UUD 1945, yang berfungsi sebagai hukum dasar, akta kelahiran negara, dan modus vivendi bangsa Indonesia. Dengan demikian, perbedaan hari antara Proklamasi dan pengesahan UUD 1945 mencerminkan tahapan logis dalam proses transformasi bangsa menjadi negara. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pemahaman yang tepat mengenai kedudukan Proklamasi dan konstitusi dalam sistem ketatanegaraan Indonesia, serta berkontribusi pada penguatan kesadaran konstitusional dalam negara hukum.
