Abstract

Digital payments make it easier for people to make transactions so that they are more effective and efficient. With the existence of digital payments, people's habits have changed in making payments, where the use of non-cash or cashless payments is more popular with people today. This research aims to examine and analyze the Influence of Ease of Use and Usefulness on Users' Interest in Digital Payment at tourism destinations. This study employs a quantitative method with a descriptive and verification approach. The population consists of visitors in 2024, determined using the Barchlay, Higgins, and Thompson formula, resulting in 100 respondents. The sampling method used is Incidental Sampling. This study utilizes scale range analysis and SEM-PLS analysis with tools including Smart PLS and Microsoft Excel. The findings reveal that there is no partial influence of ease of use on user interest in digital payments.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of memorable tourist experiences on behavioral intentions in the Alamendah tourism village. This type of research is descriptive and quantitative, collecting data by distributing questionnaires. The research population was all visitors to the Alamendah Tourism Village, with a total sample of 78 respondents using accidental sampling. The results of the study show that memorable travel experiences have a significant effect on behavioral intentions. In this study, a memorable travel experience can positively impact the behavioral intentions of visitors to the Alamendah Tourism Village, including the emotions involved when visitors have a positive experience. These visitors identify with the values ​​or norms that apply in the Alamendah Tourism Village. , Satisfaction of visitors who are satisfied with their travel experience, both the facilities provided services, and the overall tourist experience, environmental influences, visitors who are involved in an environment that supports positive behavior. Therefore, the Alamendah Tourism Village manager needs to provide a satisfying travel experience that encourages the positive behavior of its visitors. Abstract

Tourism in Indonesia is a new field of science in the academic field. After the official recognition of tourism as a science in 2008, there was a significant development of tourism education in Indonesia at both the high school and university levels. However, in its implementation there are still some obstacles in the implementation of this education, both in terms of human resources (HR), teaching facilities, curriculum, as well as the absorption of graduates in related fields as well as synchronization with industry. The methodology used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data processing is based on literature and document studies regarding the development of tourism education nationally and globally. Other data collection was also carried out through interviews with tourism education providers. The results showed that solving the existing problems required efforts and commitment from across sectors such as government, industry, academia, and society. Thus the current road map for tourism education is not only seen as a science but can also make a real contribution, namely improving the welfare of the community.
