Abstract

Ponorogo regency has a variety of tourism resources, potentially developed to increase the tourism sector. This study aims to analyze the strategy of Ponorogo regency in governing the tourism sector based on strength, weakness, opportunity, and threat (SWOT). Using descriptive qualitative approach, this research was conducted in Ponorogo regency. The results indicate that Ponorogo has various tourism sources, such as nature, culture, art, religion, and gastronomy, as the strength. The weakness is that there are many tourism events not well managed by the government. The opportunity is extensive funding support from the government. The threat is the conflict in managing government grants. In addition, the government of Ponorogo regency is successful in delivering 66 tourism ceremonies using local regulation in order to change the threat to be the strength.

Abstract

Cibiru is one of the sub-districts in the east of the city of Bandung and located at the foot of Mount Manglayang, has been blessed with various kinds of extraordinary natural, cultural and craft resources. Natural wealth in the form of hilly areas, agricultural plantations and abundant water resources. Some areas have also been arranged in such a way by the relevant parties from what were originally in the form of shrubs to green open spaces and beautiful gardens which can also be used for tourism activities. In addition, this sub-district also has the largest arts and culture group in the city of Bandung, which maintains many traditions and cultures that have been passed down from generation to generation and maintains the typical arts of West Java such as Silat, Benjang, Reak and so on. Tourism activities in Cibiru have not been managed properly because there is no legal management to carry out tourism activities. In addition to the absence of mapping and packaging of tourism potential that is owned so that it does not yet have a selling value that can provide economic benefits for the surrounding community. This service activity is carried out as part of an effort to help empower the community so that all tourism potential that is owned can provide great value for the community. The activities carried out are in the form of tourism management training and workshop activities to identify superior tourism potential so that a mapping of tourism potential is obtained as outlined in a tourist map as well as making simple tour packages that can be used as basic capital in marketing tourism potential

Abstract

Ciburial Village is one of the Tourism Villages that has been established by the West Java Bandung Regency Government in accordance with the Bandung Regent's Decree Number 556.42/ Kep. 71- Dispopar/ 2011 Regarding the Determination of Tourism Villages in the Bandung Regency Area with the concept of Agriecotourism. In implementing the development of Tourism Villages, Ciburial Village encountered obstacles both in terms of human resources, destination management, marketing, and other aspects. The purpose of this study is to determine the development strategy of the tourism village. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach and SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat) as an analytical tool. The results of the analysis of internal and external factors are processed using a SWOT matrix to produce several strategies. The results of the study indicate that strategies that need to be developed include mapping tourism based on potential, strengthening digital-based promotions as well as building branding, optimizing cross-sectoral coordination in the management of Tourism Villages and training in human resources including destination management and tour guides.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (i) the concept of health tourism in Sari Ater; (ii) motivation for tourist visits to Sari Ater; (iii) the influence of the concept of health tourism on the motivation for tourist visits to Sari Ater. The method used in this research is quantitative by distributing questionnaires to a sample of 100 Sari Ater tourists randomly. The results of the questionnaire were processed using the SPSS 24 application by testing the validity, reliability, normality, simple linear regression, t test, and the coefficient of determination. The hypothesis of this study is "There is an influence from the concept of health tourism on the motivation for tourist visits to Sari Ater". The results are: (i) the concept of health tourism in Sari Ater shows an average score of 3.63 in the good category. (ii) the motivation for a tourist visit to Sari Ater shows an average score of 3.63 in the good category. (iii) the effect of the concept of health tourism on the motivation for tourist visits to Sari Ater shows the t value of 11.468 is greater than t table 1.66055 which can be said to have a positive and significant effect. With a RSquare value of 0.573 or 57.3% of the contribution made by the concept of health tourism to the motivation of tourist visits with a pretty good category. At the end of the research, the authors suggest that the main and supporting facilities can be repaired or equipped by Sari Ater.

Abstract

The tourism industry development cannot be separated from the marketing mix. The marketing mix is an attempt to inform and to persuade customers to buy and to use certain products or services as well as a factor that can influence to consumer’s decision; one of them is decision to visit a tourist attraction. Marketing is not done aggressively and comprehensively through social media account or website. Likewise some individual target mark it’s that found by the authors are not to aware of tourism products that offered by Lawangwangi Creative Space. This study aimed to apply the marketing mix in Lawangwangi Creative Space; the decision of tourist to visit Lawangwangi Creative Space as well as the influence of marketing mix for the decision of tourist to visit to Lawangwangi Creative Space. This study uses a simple linear regression equation where the regression coefficient (b) obtained for the decision to visit is at 3,214 and it has positive mark, which means each happened an increase 1 point in the marketing mix, predicated the decision been able to increase by 3,124 units. The value of the constant (a) of 1,858 which indicates the value of decision of tourists to visit Lawangwangi Creative Space does not do the marketing mix. The results from this research shows that the marketing mix contributed for 52.3% of thetourists visiting the decisiontoLawangwangi Creative Space, while 47.7% is a large contribution from the influence of other variables that not examined.

Abstract

Mengacu pada RPJMD Provinsi Jawa Barat 2013-2018, kebijakan pembangunan wilayah pengembangan dimaksudkan untuk peningkatan ekonomi yang diharapkan dapat memberikan peningkatan kesejahteraan rakyat, salah satunya adalah wilayah pengembangan Ciayumajakuning (Kabupaten dan Kota Cirebon, Kabupaten Indramayu, Majalengka dan Kuningan). Pada penelitianini lokus Kabupaten Indramayu khususnya Desa Karangsong dipilih dengan pertimbangan bahwa Indramayu menjadi bagian wilayah pengembangan dengan potensi pesisir dan kelautan khususnya mangrove. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model pengentasan kemiskinan yang ada di Desa Karangsong melalui sektor pariwisata khususnya pengembangan potensi mangrove.Berdasarkan data Desa Karangsong (2014) tingkat kemiskinan di Karangsong cukup tinggi yakni sekitar 38.1%. atau sekitar 2.192 orang, padahal jika dilihat dari potensi yang dimiliki Karangsong memiliki potensi alam laut dan pesisir khususnya mangrove yang dapat dijadikan peluang dalam meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat. Mangrove tidak hanya sebagai pendekatan ekonomi namunjuga potensi alamnya dapat dijadikan sebagai upaya pelestarian alam sehingga kedepannya pola pengembangan ini akan sesuai dengan prinsip pembangunan yang berkelanjutan (tourism sustainable development). Pendekatan lain dari upaya pengentasan kemiskinan ini juga dilakukan melalui empat jalur strategi (four track strategy). Strategi empat jalur pembangunan ekonomi itumeliputi pembangunan ekonomi yang pro pertumbuhan (pro growth), pro penciptaan lapangan pekerjaan (pro job), pro pengurangan kemiskinan (pro poor), dan pro lingkungan (pro environment). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan wawancara yang ditindaklanjuti dengan FGD (Focus Group Discussion). Kegiatan penelitian ini akan melibatkan berbagai pihak diantaranya pemerintah, swasta (industri), asosiasi, serta masyarakat, nelayan, kelompok petani sehingga bentuk model yang dihasilkan adalah bentuk integrasi yang dapat memberikan multiflier effect (dampak berganda) di lintas sektor dimana pariwisata berperan sebagai leading sector.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, permasalahan yang terjadi pada pengelolaan kawasan mngrove adalah pengetahuan masyarakat itu sendiri. Sementara itu potensi yang dimiliki meliputi sumber daya alam kawasan mngrove, sungai dan pesisir pantai.Model yang dapat dikembangkan dalam upaya mengembangkan potensi wisata mngrove di daerah Karangsong dapat berupa model kolaborasi yang melibatkan masyarakat, pemerintah dan industri pariwisata.

Abstract

The research was conducted at Sukaregang Leather Industry Center, Garut Regency. The descriptive research results show that job satisfaction, competence and performance are all in the category of "good." While the results of verifikatif analysis shows the effect of job satisfaction (X1) on employee performance (Y) of 11.70%, and with a ttest of 2.713> ttable 1.67 with significance 0.008 <0.050, this shows partially (ttest) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. As for the competence variable (X2) has an effect on employee performance (Y) of 44.49%, and ttest of 7.700> ttable 1.67 with significance 0,000 <0,050, which means partial competence (ttest) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, it was found out that the effect of job satisfaction (X1) and competence (X2) on employee performance (Y) had total influence (R2 ) of 56.10%, the rest of 44% was un-researched variable, with Ftest> FTable 3, 94 with significance 0,000 <0,050, this indicates that job satisfaction and competence simultaneously (Ftest) have positive and significant influence on employee performance. Abstract

Desa Cibuntu (Cibuntu Village) is a tourism-based village located at the foot of Mount Ciremai, Pasawahan District, Kuningan, West Java. The village is located approximately 20 KM from the center of Kuningan City. Cibuntu Village has a variety of uniqueness that is owned both in nature, culture and history. Cibuntu Village is declared as a Tourism Village as stipulated in the Decree of the Head of the Kuningan District Tourism and Culture Office Number 55631 / KPTS.178.A Disparbud / 2012 concerning the designation of Cibuntu Village as an Object and Attraction (Tourism Village). Guiding tours become very important because they are part of the service. Lack of communication skills and mastery of English become the main obstacle in guiding tourism activities in the Cibuntu Tourism Village. The people who are assigned as guides seem to only have capital, so the delivery of information is not packaged properly to tourists. Referring to these conditions, then the solution is coaching and mentoring in an effort to improve the ability to guide tours through a series of training. The training will be classified into two categories, namely tour guides and English training for tour guides. The methods to be used include lectures, questions and answers, discussions. To improve the ability to guide in English will focus on drilling models and role play. As targets to be achieved are (a) increasing the ability of understanding the role of the tour guide, (b) increasing the ability of the community in the tour guide, (c) increasing the ability of English in guiding activities especially when guiding foreign tourists, (d) increasing communication skills when guide the tour. To achieve these targets the activity implementation team will work together with the association of Indonesian tour guides and professional guides.

Abstract

Purpose - The purpose of this research is to explore the untapped potential of agrotourism in Dante Mararih Hamlet, Tangru Village, Malua District, Enrekang Regency, South Sulawesi, and assess public awareness regarding the importance of its development. Methodology/Design/Approach - A qualitative approach was used, combining observation, interviews, and documentation to gather data on the potential of agrotourism in the area and public awareness of its development.Finding - The study found that Dante Mararih Hamlet has significant potential for agrotourism, driven by its horticultural resources, cultivation activities, natural beauty, and the quality of the local community. However, public awareness about agrotourism is still low, and there is a need to align perceptions to fully realize the potential. The development of agrotourism will require attention to various factors, including human resources, infrastructure, location, traditional agriculture characteristics, and agro-industry.Originality/Value - This research emphasizes the importance of raising public awareness and aligning perceptions to optimize agrotourism potential. It provides practical insights into the factors necessary for successful agrotourism development, which could positively impact the economy of Dante Mararih Hamlet.

Abstract

Tourism village has a great potency to encourage the local economic growth which will provide tourist experiences. This research aims to explore the development of Storynomic Tourism as a strategy to improve the quality of tourist experiences in the Ciburial Tourism Village. The research method used is a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through participant observation, interviews with relevant stakeholders. The research results show that Ciburial Tourism Village has the potential for unique stories related to its history, culture and nature. By applying the Storynomics Tourism approach, this tourist destination can create a deeper tourist experience through narratives that connect interesting places. The development of Storynomics Tourism in Ciburial Tourism Village is expected to improve the quality of tourist experiences, stimulate tourist interest in visiting, and indirectly increase local economic income. This research makes a significant contribution in developing innovative and sustainable tourism development strategies at the village level. The implication of this research is providing the practical guidance for stakeholders in designing interesting and meaningful story-based tourism experiences in the Ciburial Tourism Village, and can be a reference for developing Storynomics Tourism in other tourist destinations.
