Abstract

Pos PeIayanan Terpadu atau lebih dikenal dengan POSYANDU menjadi sarana pemberdayaan kesehatan masyarakat sebab model pelaksanaan di aktifkan dan diprakarsai oleh masyarakat yang selaras dengan kebutuhan masing-masing masyarakatnya. Peran kader dalam penyelenggaraan Posyandu sangat besar karena selain sebagai pemberi informasi kesehatan kepada masyarakat juga sebagai penggerak masyarakat untuk datang ke Posyandu dan melaksanakan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran kader dan hambatan kader posyandu dalam pelayanan gizi pada balita di Desa Pintupadang Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Pintupadang. Penelitian ini menggunakan  menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif.  Informan dalam penelitian ini 10 orang, terdiri dari 4 Ibu yang memiliki balita, 4 kader posyandu, 1 tenaga kesehatan dan 1 ketua posyandu. Variabel penelitian meliputi peran kader posyandu dan pelayanan gizi pada balita. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode In- Dept Interview dengan menggunakan wawancara terstruktur. Data dianalisis melalui triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kader belum sepenuhnya melaksanakan perannya  dalam pelayanan gizi pada balita. Hambatan yang dialami kader adalah kurangnya pengetahuan kader tentang posyandu terutama tentang gizi kurang karena tidak mendapat pelatihan. Kesimpulannya peran kader posyandu dalam pelayanan gizi pada balita di  Desa Pintupadang Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Pintupadang belum dilaksanakan dengan maksimal. Disarankan kepada kader posyandu dan petugas posyandu supaya lebih meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kader posyandu terutama dalam hal gizi pada balita dan meningkatkan program penyuluhan kepada ibu tentang posyandu dan manfaat pelaksanaan posyandu bagi   ibu dan balita.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that dominated by tropical rainforests with adequate rainfall. These conditions allow various plant species to thrive. One such plant is water apple (Syzygium aqueum). The use of water apple leaf extract as an antibacterial agent has garnered attention due to the increasing trend of bacterial resistance againts antibiotics. The aim of this study is to describe the antibacterial effects of water apple (Syzygium aqueum) leaf extract on several bacterial species by observing the diameter of the inhibition zone. The method employed is a systematic review. Article searches were conducted through databases such as PubMed Central, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, and Garuda. The journal selection and formulation of research questions were guided by the PICO method. Article searches followed the 2020 PRISMA methodology. The article search yielded six articles reviewed from a total of 9,911 articles identified. The findings from the reviewed articles indicate that water apple leaf extract (Syzygium aqueum) exhibits antibacterial effects on both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. The active compounds in water apple leaf extract that exhibit antibacterial properties are flavonoids, terpenoids, saponins, tannins, and alkaloids.

Abstract

Background: Osteoarthritis (OA) is a chronic degenerative joint disease that causes pain, limited mobility, and reduced ability to perform daily activities. The severity of OA can be assessed radiologically using the Kellgren–Lawrence classification. One of the inflammatory markers used to evaluate inflammatory activity in OA is the Neutrophil Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR), which reflects the balance between neutrophils and lymphocytes. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between NLR and the radiological severity of knee osteoarthritis in female patients at Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Hospital. Method: This study used a cross-sectional approach. The samples consisted of medical records of female patients diagnosed with knee osteoarthritis during the 2022–2025 period. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analyses with the Spearman rank correlation test. Results: The Spearman test showed no significant relationship between NLR and the radiological severity of osteoarthritis (p=0.789; r=-0.041). Discussion: These findings indicate that NLR is not a dominant factor in determining the radiological severity of knee OA. This may be influenced by other factors, such as the involvement of various inflammatory mediators besides NLR and the locally limited nature of inflammation in OA. Conclusion: There was no significant relationship between NLR and the Kellgren–Lawrence radiological severity in female patients with knee osteoarthritis at Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Hospital
