Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kepemimpinan ekologis sebagai bentuk kepemimpinan Kiai yang memiliki kepedulian terhadap penyelamatan dan pelestarian fungsi lingkungan hidup yang diimplementasikan dalam pengelolaan pesantren berbudaya lingkungan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Pesantren Annur 2 Al-Murtadlo Malang, menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara terstruktur kepada Pengasuh, observasi mendalam terhadap praktik budaya ekologis, dan dokumentasi. Metode analisa menggunakan pola terstruktur Moustakas yaitu: 1) deskripsi fenomena, 2) horizonalization, 3) cluster of meaning dan 4) deskripsi esensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kepemimpinan Kiai Badruddin dalam membentuk kesalehkan ekologis santri menggunakan dua langkah yaitu revitaslisasi ajaran agama dan uswah hasanah. Pola kepemimpinan ekologis yang diterapkan memberikan dampak berupa terbentuknya sikap peduli lingkungan, pola hidup bersih dan sehat, lingkungan pesantren yang nyaman, dan prestasi santri.

Abstract

Mental health is one of the negative behaviors in teenagers such as bullying. Bullying can cause teenagers to become anxious, depressed, sleep disorders, angry, and at risk of suicide. To find out this, developing an instrument for positive adolescent behavior in preventing bullying is necessary. This research aims to test the validity and reliability of the questionnaire. Questionnaire Positive Behavior Support Quality of Life Questionnaire (PBSQLQ) in Indonesian. The method used is testing a questionnaire PBSQLQ in Indonesian with a quantitative approach and cross-sectional design. The sample was 30 teenagers living in Malang Regency using an incidental sampling technique. PBSQLQ results in Indonesian have five indicators, namely health and safety (Cronbach alpha = 0.961), self-advocacy (Cronbach alpha = 0.831), social relationships (Cronbach alpha = 0.852), productive activities (Cronbach alpha = 0.741), and community participation (Cronbach alpha = 0.755). The validity test results of all indicator questions were declared valid. Analysis of questionnaires about positive behavior in preventing bullying in teenagers using PBSQLQ in Indonesian can be used as a measuring tool for mental health research in teenagers due to bullying. So, this questionnaire can be used as an indicator of the positive behavior of teenagers in preventing bullying, especially on the impact on mental health in teenagers. This research concludes that the PBSQLQ in Indonesian has a valid value for each question per indicator and has a reliable or consistent value as a tool for measuring positive behavior in preventing bullying in teenagers.

Abstract

Kualitas pendidikan tidak hanya ditentukan oleh proses pengajaran semata, namun juga dipengaruhi oleh faktor kebersihan dan kesehatan lingkungan yang memadai. Banyak penelitian yang telah membuktikan bahwa lingkungan sekolah yang sehat, bersih dan memadai berbanding lurus dengan prestasi yang dicapai oleh siswanya. Kesadaran siswa dalam menjaga, melestarikan, mengelola, memperbaiki, dan mendayagunakan lingkungan demi kesejahteraan hidup manusia sebagai khalifah sekaligus memberikan kenyamanan untuk beribadah dan mewujudkan masa depan perlu ditumbuhkembangkan. Kesedaran ini disebut dengan kesalehan ekologis. Pengelolaan lingkungan madrasah harus mendukung terhadap tercapainya penanaman kesalehan ekologis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus yakni ingin mengungkap keberhasilan MTsN Malang 1 dalam mengelola lingkungan madrasah yang sehat, sehingga mempau membentuk kesalehan sekologis siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kesalehan ekologis siswa ditanamkan melalui nilai religius, kepedulian dan keteladanan. Nilai-nilai ini telah hidup dalam keseharian siswa termasuk civitas madrasah, hal ini peneliti nyatakan dengan keberadaan lingkungan madrasah yang terkelola dengan bersih, sehat dan tertata rapi. Nilai-nilai ini dalam proses penanamannya melalui pembelajaran dan organisasi siswa duta lingkungan.

Abstract

AbstractAs people age, they tend to experience health problems due to degenerative processes or other external factors. One of the common health problems found in the elderly is hypertension, a condition of increased blood pressure that can trigger serious complications in the cardiovascular system. Hypertension treatment does not only rely on pharmacological therapy but also requires a non-pharmacological approach, one of which is through the consumption of foods or drinks containing bioactive compounds. Celery is known to contain phytochemicals such as apigenin, which is a vasodilator, while pineapple is rich in potassium, which helps maintain blood pressure balance. This study aims to determine the effect of consuming a mixture of celery juice and pineapple juice on reducing blood pressure in elderly hypertensive patients at the Mojolangu Health Centre. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group approach. The population consisted of 51 elderly hypertensive patients, and 34 respondents were selected through accidental sampling techniques. Data were collected using observation sheets and digital tensiometers, which were then analysed using the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney U tests. The results of the Wilcoxon test showed a significant decrease in systolic and diastolic blood pressure in the treatment group (p = 0.000), while the control group did not show significant changes. The Mann-Whitney U test also showed a significant difference between the two groups (p=0.000). The conclusion of this study is that the consumption of a mixture of celery juice and pineapple juice significantly affects the decrease in blood pressure in elderly people with hypertension. Abstract

Abstract Hypertension is a leading health problem among the elderly, and community health cadres play a crucial role in providing education for its prevention. The DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) diet is an evidence-based approach to reduce hypertension risk, yet knowledge gaps remain among elderly health cadres. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of animated video-based health education in improving elderly health cadres’ knowledge about the DASH diet. A quasi-experimental design with a pretest–posttest control group was used, involving 56 cadres divided equally into intervention (n=28) and control (n=28) groups through total sampling. Knowledge was measured using a 16-item questionnaire. Data were analyzed with paired t-tests and independent t-tests. Results showed a significant increase in the intervention group’s mean score from 12.57 (pretest) to 14.64 (posttest) with a mean difference of 2.07 points (p=0.003), whereas the control group improved only from 11.96 to 12.78 (difference 0.82; p=0.026). Independent t-test revealed a significant posttest difference between groups (p=0.001). The findings indicate that animated video is an effective educational tool to enhance cadres’ knowledge of the DASH diet and can be implemented as an innovative strategy in community-based hypertension prevention programs.
