Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of the implementation of the New Student Admissions of the Public High School zoning system in Bangkinang kota district and the distribution of the house points of the new student admissions on the zoning system of Public High Schools in Bangkinang kota district which consists of 4 villages including, Langgini village, Bangkinang village, Ridan village and Kumantan village. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, as well as a type of case study research. The location of the research was carried out in Public High School 1 and 2 Bangkinang kota, where the data sources in this study were primary data obtained from observations and interviews of the Student Representatives of each Public Senior High School in Bangkinang kota district, as well as sekundur data obtained through technical guidelines for the new student admissions. at the level of Public High Schools in Riau Province and reports on the implementation of the Admission of Public High School Students in Bangkinang District, the city for the 2020/2021 school year. The difference in the implementation of the new student admissions in 2019 and 2020 lies in the implementation of socialization which is carried out online which results in information related to the acceptance of New Students not evenly distributed to prospective new students or parents of students who are in the designated zone area.

Abstract

Kota Padang menjadi salah satu kota di Indonesia yang berada dan berkembang di pesisir barat Pulau Sumatra. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran tsunami dan dampak yang akan ditimbulkan oleh bencana tsunami jika melanda wilayah yang ada di Kota Padang dengan menggunakan parameter garis pantai Kota Padang, administrasi, slope dan tutupan lahan yang akan diolah dengan memanfaatkan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) pada software Arcgis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Tsunami Inundation dan cost-distance. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat enam kecamatan di Kota Padang yang terkena dampak dari bencana tsunami dengan ketinggian air 5 dan 12 meter diantaranya yaitu Kecamatan Padang Selatan, Padang Timur, Padang Barat, Padang Utara, Nanggalo, Koto Tangah dengan jarak landaan tsunami sekitar 1,5 hingga 3 kilometer ke arah daratan Kota Padang. Abstract

Insufficient sanitation in densely populated residential areas in Berok Nipah Village, especially the Muaro settlement, which is directly adjacent to the river estuary and beach, results in this area often having problems in the form of tidal floods that always carry debris into the village. A lack of land causes people to settle in areas adjacent to rivers and beaches. This activity aims to provide new understanding and information to the community regarding green technology and tidal flood prevention education to communities affected by tidal floods in residential areas. Education about tidal floods in the form of counseling, socialization, and discussion about green technology (rainwater harvesting, bipolar holes, and rain gardens) to the community as a form of activity to prevent natural disasters in the form of tidal floods in Berok Nipah Village. The existence of this educational activity allows the community to apply environmentally friendly technologies such as rainwater harvesting, bipolar holes, and rain gardens to prevent and reduce the impact of tidal flooding in the Berok Nipah Village community settlements.
