Abstract

Based on data from the West Sumatra energy and mineral resources service, it is stated that Limapuluh Kota Regency has the potential for rocks (andesite, granite, limestone, marble) and metallic minerals (gold and lead). This huge natural potential requires good management so that it can develop and requires potential human resources as well. This is the background for socializing opportunities and potential job opportunities in Limapuluh Kota Regency. The socialization explains what potential mining resources exist in Limapuluh Kota Regency along with the job opportunities that exist in managing these resources. The target of this socialization is to open the minds of high school students in terms of the natural potential that their region has and to open up the students' insight in choosing the science they will study in college, so that as sons/daughters of the region they can contribute to the management and development of their region.

Abstract

Productivity is an alternative to evaluating the performance that has been done even one of the most effective ways in assessing the efficiency of using several inputs in producing certain outputs. the study was conducted at PT Johan Sentosa. The company is engaged in processing palm oil into CPO (crude palm oil) and kernels. In this case, the company must replace an important process called the sterilizer system from the horizontal sterilizer to the vertical sterilizer. This change will certainly have an impact on company productivity. In this study, the method used is Marvin E Mundel where partial productivity will be identified in the form of depreciation value index, material, labor, energy, and maintenance, and know the total production value index. The results of this study obtained a partial productivity index on the declining workforce, other partial productivity such as depreciation, material, labor, energy, and maintenance have increased while the index value of total productivity increased after a change in the sterilizer system.

Abstract

Wastewater produced oil industry mustard t containing organic content of high BOD and COD. BOD and COD stating the amount of dissolved oxygen needed by microorganisms to decompose the material organic of a waste. Therefore, high levels of BOD and COD must be lowered in organic levels before being discharged into the water. One way that can be done using phytoremediation technology that is environmentally friendly. The purpose of this research to see the effectiveness of the water jasmine plant's ability to reduce levels of BOD and COD in palm oil industrial wastewater. This study used a batch system with variations in the number of plants used were 4, 12 and 16 individual plants and variations in contact time of 5 and 9 days. The initial testing of the waste obtained a BOD value of 4,236 mg / L, and a COD value of 5760 mg / l. After the phytoremediation test was carried out, the best decrease in BOD values was up to 96 mg / L and the greatest efficiency was obtained 97.73%. The decrease also occurred very well in COD, namely up to 342 mg / L with the greatest efficiency obtained by 93.88%. The decrease in the optimum levels of BOD and COD was found in variations in the number of plants 16 and on the 9th day. This proves that these plants are effective in eliminating liquid waste levels in the palm oil industry, especially BOD and COD

Abstract

Insufficient sanitation in densely populated residential areas in Berok Nipah Village, especially the Muaro settlement, which is directly adjacent to the river estuary and beach, results in this area often having problems in the form of tidal floods that always carry debris into the village. A lack of land causes people to settle in areas adjacent to rivers and beaches. This activity aims to provide new understanding and information to the community regarding green technology and tidal flood prevention education to communities affected by tidal floods in residential areas. Education about tidal floods in the form of counseling, socialization, and discussion about green technology (rainwater harvesting, bipolar holes, and rain gardens) to the community as a form of activity to prevent natural disasters in the form of tidal floods in Berok Nipah Village. The existence of this educational activity allows the community to apply environmentally friendly technologies such as rainwater harvesting, bipolar holes, and rain gardens to prevent and reduce the impact of tidal flooding in the Berok Nipah Village community settlements.

Abstract

Industri pabrik tahu adalah merupakan salah satu usaha menghasilkan makanan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, bahkan tahu menjadi makanan yang disukai banyak orang. Salah satu hal yang dikhawatirkan pada pabrik tahu adalah limbah yang dihasilkan yang akan berdampak pada lingkungan sekitar jika pembuangan limbah langsung kesungai. Oleh karna itu pemerintah mengeluarkan standar baku mutu dari limbah pabrik tahu ini. Adapun parameter pada limbah tahu ini yaitu COD, BOD, TSS dan pH. Berdasarkan uji labaratorium yang telah dilakukan maka nilai COD yang dihasilkan dari limbah pabrik Tahu MTB yaitu 4.630,92, nilai BOD 286,45, nilai TSS 170,66 dan pH 4,18. Dari hasil penelitian nilai BOD belum sesuai dengan mutu yang ditetapkan, setelah dilakukan perbaikan dari segi proses produksi terutama pada proses perendaman dan perebusan maka nilai BOD menjadi 155,50. Sedangkan dari segi produktivitas sebelum dilakukan perbaikan pada proses produksi yaitu sebesar 0,9950, namun setelah dilakukan perbaikan maka produktivitas meningkat menjadi 0,9965. Hal ini terjadi karena dilakukan beberapa perbaikan terhadap nilai input seperti lebih memperhatikan lagi penggunaan bahan baku utama dan bahan baku pendamping. Selanjutnya ampas tahu juga dijadikan nilai jual, serta perbaikan terhadap proses produksi untuk mengurangi kecacatan produk.

Abstract

RIA BOGA is one of the UMKM or Home Industries from Ponorogo Regency, engaged in the food sector, particularly in producing bread and cakes. Some of the products from UD. RIA BOGA include Bakpia Telo Ungu and Bolu. In determining the cost of production, UD. RIA BOGA still employs a simple calculation method and does not consider all production cost elements in its cost calculations. Consequently, this leads to confusion in the financial system of the business. This research aims to determine the appropriate method for calculating the cost of production at UD. Ria Boga. The results of this study show that the calculation of the cost of production using the full costing method in 2022 for the Bolu product is Rp 6,460.00, and for Bakpia Telo Ungu is Rp 9,837.00. Meanwhile, in 2022, the cost for the Bolu product is Rp 6,837.00, and for Bakpia Telo Ungu is Rp 8,804.00. The calculation using the Activity Based Costing method in 2021 for the Bolu product resulted in a production cost of Rp 6,309.00, while for Bakpia Telo, it was Rp 12,751.00. In 2022, the Bolu product had a production cost of Rp 6,637.00, and Bakpia Telo Ungu was Rp 11,662.00. The Activity Based Costing calculation considers the expenditure of each overhead cost on the product according to the consumption of each product activity, resulting in more accurate results.

Abstract

Sistem pembangkit listrik tenaga piko-hidro model drum menjadi solusi dalam mempercepat pengembangan dan penyebaran pembangkit listrik skala kecil di masyarakat. Penelitian ini berhasil merancang dan membangun turbin Cross-flow sebagai penggerak mula untuk sistem pembangkit listrik model drum dengan memanfaatkan potensi head 2,5 m dan debit air 20 L/s yang diproyeksikan mampu membangkitkan energi listrik 400 Watt. Hasil analisis diperoleh spesifikasi komponen turbin Cross-flow yaitu, elbow dengan penampang masuk sama dengan penampang keluar yaitu le × be  = 120 mm × 80 mm. Nozel dengan penampang masuk ln × bn  = 120 mm × 70 mm. Katup, panjang (lk) = 119 mm, diameter poros katup (dpk) = 10 mmm, dan panjang poros katup (lpk) = 210 mm. Runner, diameter luar (Do) = 80 mm, diameter dalam (Di) = 54 mm.

Abstract

Nelayan Muaro Batang Kapas sering kali menghadapi risiko tenggelam saat menjalankan tugas sehari-harinya, termasuk memanen biota laut. Salah satu alat yang dapat digunakan oleh nelayan untuk mengurangi resiko tenggelam yaitu Life Jacket. Life Jacket yang digunakan oleh nelayan Muaro Batang Kapas masih memiliki kekurangan yaitu Life Jacket yang ada pada nelayan muaro batang kapas kurang efektif dalam menahan air hujan dan air laut, Desain dan visual Life Jacket yang ada masih desain lama, fitur-fitur yang ada di Life Jacket yang digunakan nelayan muaro batang kapas masih memiliki banyak kekurangan. Maka dari itu penelitian ini merancang Life Jacket sesuai dengan kebutuhan nelayan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Quality Function Depoyment. Hasil yang dapat disimpulkan dalam pengelohan data berdasarkan penyebaran kuesioner yaitu terdapat 15 atribut kebutuhan konsumen dan 10 respon teknis yang menjadi jawaban dari kebutuhan konsumen, respon teknis yang menjadi urutan pokok prioritas dalam pengembangan Life Jacket dimulai dari peringkat pertama hingga terakhir yaitu peringkat pertama bahan Busa PE Polybonding, Terdapat reflektor, ketiga Terdapat Kantong Penyimpananan, Terdapat Tali Pengait,  Bahan Kain Waterproof, Terdapat Lampu Senter LED, Terdapat Peluit, Terdapat Bantal Leher, Warna Yang Menarik dan Terdapat Peluit dan rancang bangun terdapat empat tahapan proses yang mana dimulai dari Pengukuran kain water proof,  Pembentukan pola, pemotongan pola dan menjahit komponen.

Abstract

Industri tahu memiliki prospek ekonomi yang cukup baik dan cukup potensial untuk dikembangkan. Usaha Tahu Keluarga sempat berhenti beroperasi karena mengalami kerugian dan kehabisan modal, kemudian dilanjutkan kembali. Usaha Tahu Keluarga tidak mengetahui berapa keuntungan yang didapatkan secara detail dan berapa lama jangka pengembalian dari modal yang telah diinvestasikan, serta tidak diketahui bagaimana kondisi dan posisi usaha dalam pasar. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan analisis kelayakan bisnis guna memperkecil resiko investasi yang sia-sia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan usaha Tahu Keluarga berdasarkan aspek pasar & pemasaran serta aspek finansial. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh skor IFE sebesar 3,545402 yaitu berada pada posisi kuat, nilai EFE sebesar 3,558757 yaitu berada pada kondisi kuat dan matriks IE berada pada sel 1. Kemudian pada aspek finansial diperoleh hasil payback period yaitu 11 bulan 29 hari, net present value sebesar Rp250.601.534>0, net benefit cost ratio sebesar Rp4,825 > 1 dan Internal rate of return sebesar 131,99% > tingkat suku bunga kredit saat ini 14%. Adapun simpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu usaha tahu keluarga layak untuk dijalankan berdasarkan aspek pasar dan pemasaran serta aspek finansial.
